https://i.imgur.com/O32MnaM.jpg

how am i supposed to sleep when i can just make money???

I just sold again at 1160 and bought in at 1100 i don't understand why there is free money being handed out

LOL it is risky but you can always take advantage of this price manipulation.

Here is a rather sloppy illustration of the algorithm trading pattern, but it gets the point across.

Very nice illustration actually. So the point is that somebody is pumping the price and then selling to make profit and repeat?
This price manipulation is not good for bitcoin  Angry

Few minutes ago somebody bought 250btc on stamp... with 0% fee, it's a perfect time for arbitrage + gox announced today that their bank doubled the limit for SEPA withdraws.

What are you talking about? Gox dropped fees, not Stamp. I can certainly see them in my order book

Yes but maybe he is taking advantage that there are no fees for BTC withdrawal on Bitstamp. So he can send them to Mtgox to sell them.

Yeah this is crazy, I have just seen somebody buying 1000 BTC and then somebody (most likely the same person) selling 1000 BTC. Volatility is going to be scary today.

A question what if people start "losing" bitcoins to hike the price up. Is that possible? That could be a problem in the future if it becomes a normal practice. Is there a way around that?

People have done it with fiat, I dont know who is crazy enough to do that with bitcoin!

So what do you think guys when we hit $1000, will it be like when we hit $900 the first time, with a 30% correction, or will it be like when we hit $900 this second time, with a huge pump towards around $1030?

90% correction to double digits

I would like a 10 min flash crash to double digits to buy some more bitcoins! Then back up to 4 digits  Grin

China is definitely waking up, and  bitstamp just broke the 900s!
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 26, 2013, 07:27:38 PM
This is crazy! Do people think that <900 was expensive but >900 is cheap?

Hahaha delusion at its finest.

And denial too!
15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Empty exchanges on: November 18, 2013, 06:00:03 PM
So what could happen when there are no more coins? Will the value will grow even more? Or people will loose interest and it will drop?

Actually I buy it. At least it makes sense to me. Maybe we the ones who entered to the bitcoin world this late year are still to make a lot of money in the long run.
But just like the video says that there can be a catastrophe that kills most of the rats population, maybe bitcoin can also have a catastrophe, for example governments legalize it or feature quantum computers make our cryptography useless.

Maybe this kid will become more famous than the guy who bought a pizza for 10,000 BTC. But this time in a positive way!

Time will show if you are the best son ever or the worst. But I believe that if you have a good trading plan you will be fine.
