1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitcoin casino stole mine 2 BTC from me. Beware! on: October 29, 2013, 12:05:13 AM
Important update - they contacted me on Monday and sent me all my 2.01 BTC. It was after almost six days and they are saying that they had "technical issue" with new version.

I am not convinced that it's true and it can be possible that they sent them after I created pressure here. But nevertheless Bitcoins are here in my case.

Otherwise the casino is technically nice, but they need to be watched closely.

OK, definitely scam. The person operating Bitoomba - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=133326 - was logged in here today and did not respond at all. It is now 5.5 days since they took mine Bitcoins...

Yup. Beware. Do not gamble, or you WILL lose. :)

Well if that was not meant as a joke, it was not funny... :) Scamming casino which already have upper hand by rules of game just simply stealing users money is one of worst type of scammer.
6  Economy / Scam Accusations / Bitcoin casino stole mine 2 BTC from me. Beware! on: October 26, 2013, 11:30:47 PM
I want to warn users against Bitcoin casino Bitoomba, which stole mine 2 BTC from me.

I sent 1.01 BTC on my account there on Sunday October 20th 21:07 GMT. On Tuesday October 22nd I played there and won 1 BTC extra, so I had 2.01 BTC on account there. I issued withdrawal of all 2.01 BTC to my Bitcoin address. Withdrawal is technically automatic and instantaneous there, as they advertise and also as I noticed first time I used it couple of days before. But this time it was different, the Bitcoins never arrived on my address and there is 0 on my Bitoomba account too. I right away contacted their support and until now I sent them multiple emails. It is 4 days now and no one replied.

Together with other smaller indications there is little doubt that it is scammy service or at least they tried to pull scam on me.

Beware!

Update on October 28th - see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=319358.msg3430919#msg3430919
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looks like the FBI got to DPR's stash on: October 26, 2013, 09:14:08 PM
I cant wait for the information how FBI acquired access to his private keys or password.

But it seems DPR was a bit careless, at least according to informations in his indictment. He was for example using same nick altoid for one of the first posts about Silk Road and later for post seeking programmer with contact email address on Gmail in his own name...

So maybe they found some unencrypted wallet's backup or something.

Or maybe he gave them 144 thousand for some deal, so he can enjoy his other 300K much sooner :)
