1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB - Overclocking/ hacking ? on: November 14, 2013, 04:09:11 PM
Hi again. I swapped the crystal to 14.75MHz and added --icarus-timing short to the command but the BE still mines at an average of 365MH/s It is supposed to reach about 410MH/s.
This is my command in Linux
screen sudo ./cgminer-3.4.2/cgminer --icarus-timing short --config /home/luke/cgminer.conf
Is it OK or should I right it after the config?

Can any one help me please?

Did you remember --icarus-timing short in the command line? That'll tell cgminer to auto-adjust and compensate for a faster-than-expected throughput.

Thanks. Forgot that!!  Grin

In my experience all the BEs give ~1% hw errors no matter what hub.
I can confirm that.
Me too. They all produce about 1% HW errors. And if you overclock them there is a chance that more errors may occur.

Hi. I have changed the crystal to 14.75MHz and R1 to 1.2Kohm. According to the table it should run at 412MH/s but it is averaging only 360Mh/s. What can be the cause. It is working fine but the hash rate did not increase as I thought.

I think it will get more and more expensive to buy BTC. The less there are the more expensive. That's my opinion.
