Oh hey d00dz. I'm new to this site and basically the whole bitcoin thing. Just wanted to say hello, but also that I have been doing a lot of research, and was thinking of trying something similar to this article:

http://learn.adafruit.com/piminer-raspberry-pi-bitcoin-miner/

It's basically a raspberry pi with some extra USB ports, but instead of using the older style block erupter asic miners, I would attempt to setup the programming to use these newer ones:
http://www.asic-technologies.com/blue-fury-usb-miners/

if it works how I think it will work, it would be extremely efficient on electricity, and a hell of a lot of fun.

I'm not into the mining for money, I just want to mine! lol. Wish I had a few BTC to get started however - with my Nvidia GTX 560, I've made a whopping 0.00022763btc. For fun, I was grabbing some LTC on a spare PC with a gtx 260 for a nice high of 0.00167066ltc.

I wish I could make btc to get equipment to get more btc to get more btc mining equipment to mine more and more btc to get more btc mining equipment. lol.
