1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ontology ONT - Price speculation on: April 07, 2018, 12:00:34 PM
Oh I definitely believe in ONT. Buying the next dip.
Hope that you got ONT for your reasonable price, but seems like it perform exceptional so the story may reverse likely more rise up rather then dip. The entire market is down except ONT which has rapid growth for some reason.

Haven't bought the amount of ONT i was intending to just yet. Feeling super fomoed right now  Grin

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: February 11, 2018, 11:32:37 PM
Hi guys,

sorry i am doing this stupid question, but i can't find informations about. Can you say me when the ETC snapshot will be?

Thanks a lot in advance

From ETC offical forum:

It was decided to distribute the initial stake of CLO between current ETC holders. We will make a snapshot of ETC blockchain at block 5500000 (approximately 5 March, 2018. This depends on ETC block time and ETC hashrate changes). Then we implement the initial balance of each ETC holder in the Callisto network genesis block, so each ETC owner will receive CLO coins automatically in a 1:1 ratio to the amount of ETC that he had at block 5500000.

As much as I like InsurePal's vision I'd like to ask or check something with this community here.
I'm no developer by any means, but isn't it crucial for a company that works with blockchain technology to contribute in github repositories? If you check InsurePal's github I don't see much work put into their contributions.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ICON - Interchain Blockchain Network / Hyperconnect the World! on: February 11, 2018, 04:13:55 PM
There will be a few months long window for migrating to native ICX tokens after the ICONex wallet launch. To be announced.

Will there be any other exchanges available for trading IPL? IPL is on Livecoin but i'm really sceptical about depositing BTC on Livecoin.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 4x/8x RX580 GPU rig on: January 16, 2018, 08:03:40 PM
They have been talking about CASPER for a long time now, no mention of progress with CASPER.

Guys, a question about the PCIe slots. AsRock H270 Pro4 has 2 PCIe 3.0 x16, 3 PCIe 3.0 x1, 1 PCI slot. In the pic bellow theres a PCI slot which is physically different from the x16. Is this regular PCI (on the very bottom of motherboard) compatible with the risers that are used to hook GPUs onto the motherboard?

Thanks,

what about the CASPER project, do you guys think ethereum will soon switch to proof of stake protocol? Will mining become redundant soon?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 4x/8x RX580 GPU rig on: January 16, 2018, 06:22:55 PM
Hey everyone,

so i'm doing a research on building my first mining rig. I'm thinking this:
4x Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 8GB build with Asus Prime Z270-A motherboard, Pentium G4400 CPU, Crucial 4GB CL16 2.133MHz DDR4 and EVGA 850W SuperNOVA Gold Power Supply.

I would add another 4 RX580s in half a year or so and another EVGA 850W PSU, because i can't afford a 8 gpu rig right now.

Would this setup run with a EVGA 850W power supply? Would you guys change anything?

Cheers, Nino
