Reddcoin to implement a new "Proof-of-stake-velocity" algorithm. Looks interesting. 0.00000004 sell wall vanishing on Cryptsy.

Personally, the only situation which would make me feel hard done by is if new share sales after hashing dilute our dividends. Would imagine that when people see the tasty divs coming from hashing starting they will want in.

If dividends will dilute, how about suggesting a deal whereby share price is increased, and a percentage of new share sales is added to the dividend pool?

I really think people will be all over this if the numbers are close to the projections.

Have you seen the volume on Doge since Friday ?

Next dividend will be HUGE ! I wonder why the price doesn't reflect that, but IMO it will soon retrace toward 0.3

Came in here to post this - Cryptsy must be looking to do very well out of the current DOGE craze Smiley

Makes sense, thanks. I thought the size of the farm would be dependent on shares sold.

I'm not calling shenanigans, feeling positive about the way the stock's been carried so far, just wondering as I'd expect there's more likely to be people wanting to get in one hashing and divs commence.

Does anyone know if the IPO shares will continue to be available for sale after hashing begins? Just curious, as presumably they wouldn't be able to add to the capacity without a bit of a wait?

Looking forward to getting started Smiley
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 09, 2013, 01:43:10 PM
So, all you folks who try and sell at the start of a big crash to buy in nearer the bottom. Do you keep your coins in an exchange ready for such an event, or do you move them across when you think the time is near?

I saw there was a guy in this thread who went from 50 to 70 doing so - that doesn't sound like day trade play money. I'd be concerned about leaving a big stash of BTC in an exchange given how Wild West some of the BTC world is. I guess the chances are small if it's just temporary, but would any of you be concerned that BitStamp or Gox could get hacked, or go out of business, for example?
7  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTOSTOCKS] PETAMINE starting with 150 TH/s - Request for Vote on: December 05, 2013, 09:31:29 AM
My experience is only as an end user and I've found the Havelock site to be extremely slow and sometimes down, wheras I've had no probs with Cryptostocks.

I see lots of people dubious of Cryptostocks, but Havelock have a great rep, so I'm sure there must be more to this decision - could someone point me at why people don't trust Cryptostocks?

I went on the general positive forum sentiment about Bitfunder, and look how that turned out Smiley

I got a coin "stuck" too. Feel a bit silly for trusting the site. I was trying to get some money into BitFunder, which seemed to have a decent rep from my research.

Hi BTCTers.

Have plenty to say but need to get my newbie post out of the way.

Have been loving lurking and enjoying the excitement of the ride of the last few months Smiley. Think it would make more sense to wait to post more when it can go in the relevant forum section.

- Sold my mining kit to buy some cryptostocks.
- Mucked about with altcoin trading on Cryptsy.
- Played with Plus500 trading which was really great until they changed the rules during a trade without warning
- Got some money stuck in WeExchange.

Looking forward to getting involved.
