1  Other / Off-topic / [Need help] PCI-E 16x16 extension on: September 23, 2014, 03:41:09 PM
Hey there Smiley

I have a question I hope you can answer for me – I want to make a project with a PC in a table (sounds crazy, I know it) and apparently, and no other and I mean NO other can help me with this…. So I want to hear your opinion :-).

I have a MSI 770 (OC TF) GPU and I need to get it extended. The GPU is running on Crosshair V Formula -it has a molex plug on it. I just don’t know if it will fry my board :s…

Should I get an extender with a molex connector or would I be fine without one? And do I even need to plug the molex onto the MB? And is the extendors bound to a PCI version (2.0 and 3.0)? – Hope you guys can help me out!

Hey there fellow BTC users :-)..

I recently stated mining, with an SUPER old, home made money machine (2008 HP desktop aka. "Old Lady") and so far im going with 6 Mhash/s and im useing Slush´s pool Wink...

But my question is - Why does i dont recive any BTC at all :S? It shows on the "Estimated reward" but dosent show up on "Unconfirmed reward" or "Confirmed reward" afterwards...

I know there will be a few peps flameing "Omg check forum for other posts", "Go google it" and stuff, but im REALLY new to this BTC stuff, so if someone would be abel to assist me it would be sweet Cheesy

(You can check my fresh board on my recent posts, if you like)... Cheesy

TY FOR ANY ANSWERS Wink

Welcome! Looks pretty good for something homemade. Let us know how much you can mine with it.
- Going on 5.6 to 6.1 at max Wink... Plugged off the screen, mouse and keyboard so now its just my money machine Cheesy (Wich dont make any money xD)... Getting a new graphic card tommorow from a mate, wich there is alot more power in Wink.... I considerd to buy another motherboard with 4-6 PCI outputs, so i can add more cards...... But lets see Cheesy... So far so good Smiley

Hey there !

1st of all i know i came like 3 years too late for the GPU mining, but since i like the idea of BTC i would like to give it a shot Wink

Yesterday, when i got home from school i made this from an old HP computer, from 2008 - It´s not ASIC, but it´s something !

I hope you dont mind another one joining the endless fields of BTC ^^..... Atleast, i thank the forum for being here Smiley

Will fire this old lady up when i get home Wink
