1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: MasterCoin Buyer/Seller Thread on: November 18, 2013, 03:31:13 PM
I think i wrote them both a couple of days ago, and did not get any reply.

Okay I want to buy 5 Mastercoin at .2 or 1 Btc in Total.  Could I do this using a clean paper wallet?  If so please add me to the order book.
Yes, assuming that you have the private key on your paper wallet (which should be the case).

There are 3 sellers currently selling @0.2 or below – please contact them to close a deal. Should you not be able to find a seller I'll put you on the order book later.
Also, I contacted the other 2 buyers @0.24 and 0.25 and asked them to contact sellers. I'll remove their orders should I not hear back from them.

So did sending 10 msg from newbie forum solved this 36[sec issue?

quote author=Sovereign_Curtis link=topic=335180.msg3605580#msg3605580 date=1384636974]
what can i say? those are the rules. Smiley if you plan to stick around for more than a day or two, it won't even matter. these rules drastically reduce pretty quickly. i can remember exactly how it works, though. happy posting!  Grin

Thanks!

I'm already out of the n00b prison, so that's cool. You're saying the 360 second rule will evaporate for me at some point?

About a year ago a friend told me. First bought this spring.

I'm selling 100 (not less than 50) at 0.29.
Maybe a little cheaper (0.27-0.28) if done today.

Hi coinThinker,

I'm kind of in the same situation as you are, but instead of buying I would like to sell some mastercoins. My offer is 50 MSC for 12 BTC, but we'd obviously need a trusted escrow to do this trade. PM me if you are interested!
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When Will Bitcoin Reach $1000?? on: November 13, 2013, 11:16:15 AM
2014 01 18 Smiley

Not idea when exactly the price will reach 1000$. But I tend to believe it will be 10000$ end of 2015.

The reasons:
(1) baidu.com accepts Bitcoin. China has 500 Mio internet users which is beyond the rest of the world together
(2) Bitcoin cannot be vanished from the cyberspace anymore - if so some would have done already
(3) Bitcoin is not far from mass adoption. The barrier is low and nearly no investments must be done
(4) When Bitcoin becomes massively adopted it will replace WU (6000 Mio $) PP (7000 Mio $) etc

That is > 12000 Mio USD just for two of many companies. Now the are around 12 Mio BTC which is 1000 USD/BTC.
WU has 17% market share. That means the market for Bitcoin may be ten times as big eq. 120000 Mio USD which means nothing else than 10000 USD/BTC.

Until end of 2015 we have around 750 days. Let's say now the prise is 300 USD (it is higher already). So the pice will surge for 9700 / 700 USD/day ~13.8 USD ---

I think just the rise of 14 USD per day is a big reason for any business owner or shop to accept Bitcoin.

Finally it will take something like (1000 - 300) / 14 ~ 50 days until BTC is at 1000 $. From that point my prediction would be end of January.

Thank you.

Can you please give a link to "currency exchange forum"?
Thanks

Sigh. I am seeing more of these posts, unfortunately, which does not surprise during a big rally like this, with new money coming in. I trade on BTC-E, but their support leaves much to be desired. I only send coins in, sell, buy back, and send coins out. I would hate trying to fund an account with dollars. If I had to do that, I'd go to the currency exchange forum and try to trade for a BTC-E code.
Sure, here is a link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0
PS: Be careful, and always use escrow!

Once it took a couple of hours to update a sending transaction so Electrum was showing more BTC than i really had. Other than that it is fine.
