I totally agree with you on Boat that it is a great coin to stake and has been for me since I got into the coin many months ago. WE do have the community here to help the coin grow but I think a lot of people are waiting to see something from the dev and the same can be said with RAIN. I think once we see the dev back working on the project, then we might see the community supporting the coin once again. We can see that there is support as the network weight for staking is consistently high so it tells us that there is a lot of people staking and also the active nodes is always high.
We have tried consistently and repeatedly to get the Devs involved in the community. They refused to join our discord, saying they had Slack, but didn't provide a Slack link. The main Dev is the only coder, and the other is the webmaster. We had another Dev interested in helping but he too could not get a response. It's unfortunate because we all liked Boat, but it appears we're unable to get anywhere in terms of community involvement and growth of the coin. As such the discord is pretty dead as I think most people have given up. I'll continue to hold my boat but the future of the coin doesn't appear promising. It's still possible it will get pumped one day and it's likely most people are waiting for that. |

Not using Discord, there is already a Slack channel.
Can we get on the Slack channel? If it's private only, you're missing out on good, positive interaction with your community that can help drive the coin forward... which to me, sounds like a good idea. How about a telegram group so that all BOAT investors and collectors can also have like an active group there where we can discuss ideas and be able to support each other. You all want a community? Why not start in Telegram. The community has started a Discord already and invited the Devs to come several times. About 65 people have come to check it out with 10-15 online at any given time. How long to get a staking reward? I'm staking more than 24 hours, only got one, looks like the transaction has some issue. Status: conflicted, broadcast through 8 nodes

 Hi Kopes, For more efficient staking it matters if you seperate the blocks in smaller pieces. If it is currently one block with a size of 105k BOAT? Perhaps smaller blocks for example between 5k-12k each You are able to find it within the settings / options / interface / coin control functions (ADVANCED) Attention, make sure you read some tutorials / guides about it first online, before you make a move! ImportantI have only Settings -> Options -> Display -> Display Coin Control Features (Advanced) but nothing happens when checked. There is no "Interface" tab. |

Why can Coinexchange buy and sell boat now but my recent deposits never showed up? Will I ever get them back? Is there a way to prove that I sent them?
They are processing orders now on their site.
If you had coins in your wallet, it's possible to trade them on the exchange. It's not possible to deposit or withdraw right now (or the last two weeks). If the wallet comes back online, your transactions will then register in the wallet and you should see your coins there. But what I'm saying is that they are buying and selling right now. Doesn't their wallet need to be online for them to do that? No, the wallet doesn't have to be online to trade on the exchange, just to deposit or withdraw. If you sell (withdraw) from your wallet on the exchange, the transactions won't show up on the boat network until the wallet syncs again. |

The devs of this project are only interested in making a quick $. A new website was slapped together and wallets glitched, wallet on coinexchange is still down and some people are cashing out....I wonder who that is? The devs and friends maybe?
I made a second support ticket to coinexchange about the wallet and got the same response as others. I asked if they could show me communication between the team as proof that they are addressing the wallet issues and my account has now been banned. I find it hard to believe the devs and coinexchange are not doing this deliberately to manipulate the market.
If you bought this coin recently dump it while you can!
And for you as well, read my message above. You are insinuating a lot and creating FUD / rumours / false statements. The only thing I wish regarding BOAT is that the things are rolling smoothly again (with a fully working wallet within the exchange) so I can keep my faith in the project and continue making progress. I believe that all this pressure on the exchange doesn't give the result we need, we are depending on their effort. So please for the goodwill of the project, take it easy! And of course an exchange is not going to provide you internal communication/information... That is a fully rational and logical decision. Just ignore the people like the one above, he doesn't represent the rest of the community and it is ludicrous to say that it's some kind of conspiracy with coinexchange. That's just laughable nonsense, especially for such a small coin with so little volume. It's definitely not helpful for the development of the coin. I have recently discovered BOAT at the direction of a friend and I love that the coin is easy to mine and profitable at the moment if I chose to sell. I think it has potential and some of us want to help out and ensure it succeeds. I relayed your request for a signature design to my coworker and he messaged you but hasn't heard back yet. He was involved in GoldCoin as stated before and has some experience. We'd love for you to come to the discord server and chat with us about the coin's future. There is potential here for this community to grow and help the coin succeed. Since I'm new, I don't know how active it has been in the past, but at the moment there seems to be a spike in interest. I think you and the dev should take advantage of the opportunity and hit us up for whatever help we can offer. Discord makes communicating much easier and faster than these forums. |

Finally got a stake today. The last transaction before this was from around 12/30/17 when i sent some to exchanges.
How do you get a stake? I read you just keep the wallet open and have coins in it? That's what I've done for a week, but nothing yet. How long does it take? |

Coinexchange said their team is working on the wallet. Its hard to believe that the wallet isn't offline on purpose during the current pump. All mining pools and myself have had no issue getting wallets working again, I smell something fishy. Am burning my shitty coins and dodging coinexchange like the plague.
I've still got no response from Coinexchange on my ticket.. but I will give them a few more days because people may still be on holidays. |

What you see at the bottom of users' posts here @ bitcointalk.org So is there any sort of explanation as to why the mining pools and the exchanges went down roughly at the same time the new website went up? By the way the new website looks awesome you should be really proud of it.
Thanks, I don't have a clue, extremely bad luck, must be the iceberg.  A coworker of mine was involved in the early development of GoldCoin and designed its logo and website at the time. He's mining BOAT now, I'll see if he's interested in getting involved. |

Can confirm boat wallet offline on coinexchange for about 2 days now. I'd submit a support ticket but it's unlikely to be answered. My last transfer to this wallet was 400+ coins and was never received. I'm assuming they will show up when the wallet is back online?
I have been mining to the first wallet given in the qt wallet and didn't realize it did not have "Reusable receiving address" checked. I've received 3 transactions to it.
I created another wallet (that had many more digits) and checked "Reusable" but wasn't able to mine to it. Am I doing something wrong? Is it safe to mine to that first wallet?
