And Maybe, Just maybe, can we move this along. Maybe, just maybe check this more than once a day?Huh HMMMM, yeah, that would be great!

Seriously, this is ridiculous. Why do I have to post here, when these issues are minor and i really don't have a ton to offer, when i can be enlightening the rest of the populace about sh!t that matters. I understand that the Newbs were blowing sh!t up, but have you been on the other boards? It's bad, and it always will be with a computer nerd currency. Come On. I didn't need to post when everything was going smoothly, but most of these jackwagons don't have a clue about electronic, algorithmic, or high frequency trading, or about how the stock and commodity exchanges operate, and reading their posts is killing me inside. Seriously, a little part of me dies inside when I can't call B.S. on some of the absolute horse pahooie posted on the other forums. If you don't want to let me out, just let me know and I'll move along...

Thanks,

The Biggest Tig Ol You've Eva Seen!
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your Mhash/s? (Pissing contest here) on: June 23, 2011, 05:50:22 AM
Units putting out 600 mhash/s, if Mt. Gox gets going, I will probably get up to around 1.2 Ghash/s in a few weeks.

Would love to post on the forums about the flash crash, as I have a lot of experience with these.
5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin - the first cryptographic commodity, NOT currency on: June 23, 2011, 05:17:55 AM
Okay, Let's settle this. Commodities can be currency. Bitcoin is a currency, which based on its design(deflationary) is supposed to act like a commodity in terms of monetary growth. BTC are like gold in that they act as a currency, and are never destroyed, unlike other commodities. Why can't it be Both?
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Eelectrity: How much do you need to pay per KW/H on: June 23, 2011, 05:06:39 AM

7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: hardware mining question ATI on: June 23, 2011, 05:05:29 AM
Get the Radeon 5830 or other 5 series at a reasonable price. With the right Overclocking (Trixx at 980/300) you should be at a 300 Hash rate.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this a good setup for a new rig? on: June 23, 2011, 04:57:27 AM
5830 is the way to go, if you can find them.... Selling for around $100 on Tigerdirect.com when they are available.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Introduce yourself :) on: June 23, 2011, 04:51:18 AM
Hello, I have a couple mining rigs, been here for a while, just don't post, but since everything went down, I feel the need to help people understand or at the very least help make some sense out of this debacle. I am a full-time trader(not Bitcoins) and think i have a lot to offer the masses on the forums.

I run two mining rigs, I have been on the forum for at least a couple of weeks, but got bumped to the newb section because I don't post. Please let me out of here so I can join the other crazies on the Big Board.

Look up FREEGOLD by FOFOA. So long as Gold is left floating and the currency is attached to gold, you can have the best of both worlds.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If one day Mt Gox just off site and took all your money/BTC, what would you do? on: June 23, 2011, 04:42:02 AM

14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it OK to join a pyramid scheme if you're in early? on: June 23, 2011, 04:40:22 AM

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an incentive for pools to attack each other? on: May 27, 2011, 12:39:03 AM

Entire papers have been written on the subject of bitcoin pool combat, so I won't go into the finer points except to say that the oneupmanship is progressing so quickly that, really, only the pool chiefs know the current state of interpool war technology, and they are dark, mysterious entities who we aren't allowed to name.

Where do I sign up to be a chief? F'n hilarious. I'll send you a bitcoin.

And yes hash browns are delicious computationally and "really."
