Say "Thanks" to russian idiots. So the sgminer.exe is infected, but do you try use these bins on clean sgminer ?
Don't works Ok THX For anyone who's rigs are infected , and don't want to reinstall system, try combofix, works. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/

im safe?
You safe if you not run sgminer.exe. If you did it - your system is infected, virus read all passwords, scan your pc, can stole your wallet.dat files and also give an author of this miner full remote acces to your pc, but you can not to know when he is connected to your pc. You need to install antivirus or something else for internet security. So the sgminer.exe is infected, but do you try use these bins on clean sgminer ?

The miner has been developed on omega drivers (14.12) but it is reported to be working fine and as fast on newer ones - BUT - some users have reported half hashrate on the first card and fixed it by installing catalyst version 14.9.
Thank you for solution. I put amdocl.dll file from catalyst 14.9 (C:\AMD\AMD-Catalyst-14-9-win7-win8.1-64Bit-dd-ccc-whql\Packages\Drivers\Display\WB6A_INF\B176041) to the miner folder, and all cards works well, even on drivers 15.5 beta

To miners who have HD7970 or 280X. You Can easy set 715Mhz core clock, hashrate it's like with 835MHz core or more, but you can undervolt your card to only 900mV.. Only memory clock to 1500Mhz.
can you please give us some values ? what card works with these settings and which settings ? regards pazor Sorry for delay in response, i had a busy week. Yes, almost all card, only VTX, CLUB3d, Sapphire OC may need little more like 919-925 mV. On Gigabyte,Asus,MSI,Sapphire Trix/Vapor no problems with 900mv. Just set 715Mhz Core clock and 1500Mhz Memory Clock and core voltage 900mV in MSI Afterburner. You must only know, Gigabyte WF3 cards, and Sapphire Dual-X OC 280X , have locked voltage. But that's no problem if you know how to modify cards bios with VBE7.0.0.7b.exe from: http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/vbe7-vbios-editor-for-radeon-hd-7000-series-cards.189089/If you don't know i can help with that. a lot of savings in energy and less heat generated, that's on Asus 280X DCUII. Below 900mV

I am mining SRC (quarkcoin) on CoinMine Pool with HD 7970s and R-280xs and I am getting more than a fair number of: "Waiting for work to be available from pools." Any idea what might be causing this, or what typically causes this? "xintensity": "2048", "gpu-engine": "1100", "gpu-fan": "50-85", "gpu-memclock": "150", "gpu-powertune": "0", "gpu-vddc": "1.10", "worksize": "64", "lookup-gap": "0", "temp-cutoff": "90", "temp-overheat": "82", "temp-target": "72", "auto-fan": true, "gpu-threads": "2", "gpu-platform": "0", "api-listen": true, "api-allow": "W:127.0.0.1/32", "expiry": "20", "scan-time": "10", "gpu-reorder": true Bad pool, or flaky ISP connection. On a side note your memclock is way too low you should add another 0 to the end of that. Or try too use Intensity 18, it's lower hashrate than xintensity, but i have more accepted shares, and "Waiting for work to be available from pools." not to much

I wasn't suggesting buying 10 cards, but you obviously didn't read what I wrote, but yes if the guy is in buying only for mining and only for VNL then it's better to wait and buy FPGA once the miner is ready.
Or just buy coins from an exchange. Some relatively small investment (20-50 dollars) will get you more coins than 1 gpu rig can ever mine. +1, if someone is looking into investing this would be advised rather than buying gpus for mining. Even if the price rises you won't have a solid chance as a small time miner because farms will instantly jump on the train. Like This

Most relaunches I've seen do not allow carrying over coin from the broken chain. One of the first posts in this thread explains what to do though. If you just read it. I read it. I PM to sp00lin9, but i don't have response, so i wrote here. Old wallet is broken so i can't transfer my coins from pool to wallet. I pm'ed them with similar problem. I am sure they will get to all of us in good time. Recovering any at all is a boon. This is a relaunch, not a rebrand. relaunch without pools ? nice try

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update:
I am currently working with Giftdev to retrieve the nodes as well as any additional code for future developments. Additionally, I am in communications with another dev team whom intend to relaunch the Giftcardcoin with a more stable codebase. Conceptually, the coin's focus was a great idea which we feel should be restored and conclude the PoW phase.
Couple notes: -We intend to find current balances and reimburse individuals with a 1:1 ratio on the new blockchain. To expedite this process, please message me with your public wallet address to verify your holdings. -The chain will be left up until the conversion process is complete.
So i must move my coins from suprnova to wallet or wait ?

Hmm Strange i put from catalyst 15.3 beta dll's to new Wolf sgminer folder: amd_opencl32, amd_opencl64, amdocl, amdocl64.dll, and on 290/290x sgminer crash on start. But on 280x works well when catalyst 14.4 is installed, and these dll's from 15.3 are in sgminer folder. I reinstall catalyst 14.4 to 15.3 beta on 290/290x and sgminer works, don't crash. But i like 14.4 because i can change clock speeds on 290/290x in msi afterburner. You know what may be wrong Wolf?
You're abusing the driver. Parts of it are 14.4, while the code being called from the miner is 15.3. The further away the two versions, the less likely that little trick will work. Well when with 14.4 vs 14.7 rc3 that tricks works, so on 15.3 vs 14.4 is to much difference in driver, and that will no work. Thank you.
