How come you got them with refund option if the retail price is $23,000 but you paid $16,000...? That's a pretty big margin. Any possibility you could link the retail prices?
I paid wholesale price. I'll see if I can find links with prices. You'd probably also get better response if you post some pictures of the equipment . I'll see if I can get some pictures up.

I've got a bunch of high end security cameras left over from a major install.
The parts listed below retail for around $23-24,000 USD in total.
As these parts are brand new in box I still have the option to send them back for a refund on the wholesale price so I won't go any lower than that.
I'd like to sell these as a package for $16,000.00 USD. Payable in BTC, or wire transfer.
I would be willing to break some of this up under certain circumstances but I'd rather keep them together if possible.
Here's the list:
BOSCH Dinion 2x Cameras Model LTC0498/21 X 13 Batko 12" Aluminum Camera Housings X 15 Batko Aluminum Camera Arms X 15 4CH DVR 250GB - SDR420250 Videocomm TCO-2456L 2.4GHz All Weather 4-CH Wireless Transmitters X 2 Costar DVR CR1600e NLMD4A Multiplexer

If you still have some left, I'm looking for controllers. PM me if you have some you want to get rid of.
Sold

I'm interested in a controller board if you willing to break one up. Would you be willing to sell me just the controller and ship to USA, near Boston?
Sure I could combine two of these and salvage one controller. No idea what a controller is worth though, make me an offer.

I've just got a hold of a few KNC Saturns. Anyone have any interest in these? I figure they might still be useful as a learning tool or to someone with free power.
Sold the 3 controllers. Now I'm taking offers on all the rest of the pieces.

INCOMING AND OUTGOING:Monthly trading fees: $30,000 Monthly expenses: Yep, they're definitely making minimal profit... If they're only taking in $30k a month in fees than I would think they are not even making minimal profit. They probably have a dozen employees. If they pay them an average of $2,500/month ($30,000/year) then they're at breakeven on wages alone, never mind rent, utilities etc. And they're in Calgary, so they're probably paying more than $2,500/month. They would need to raise their fees or increase their trade volume just to survive. Makes more sense to buy bitcoin and sit around waiting for the price to go up. seems unlikely they would need 12 people on the team. maybe when they built the site they needed a few dev and security guys, but with the exchange in operation it could be upkept by 2-3 guys with enough technical skills. maybe 4-5 people depending how the ATMs are handled do they even have a physical office? I don't see any sort of location listed on the website. re: utilities, theres likely $10,000 worth of server gear that costs <$800/month to host somewhere realistically: 5 employees x $3k/month = $15k/month putting 5%/month towards recouping upfront costs = ~$5k/month paying to host webservers and phonelines = ~$1k/month business insurance (i imagine they have some form of coverage for hot/cold wallet theft) = $5k/month (just a guess based on 30k worth of trade fees) thats a total of $20-30k/month, so while i doubt they were operating at a loss, the margins may be a little thin. *granted, there would still be 5 people making a decent salary* Some important points: They have more than 5 employees. They scaled back significantly a few months back but they still have more than that. Their employees are spread out around the country. They have no office to pay for. Their servers are likely to cost way more than 1k/month. No real insurance policy will insure bitcoin deposits at this point.

Never used Quadriga before but im gonna need to I suppose. TBH.. I dont trust any of these Canadian exchanges. Well that's not entirely true. I do trust CanadianBitcoins. They have a real office where you can go in and complain if something goes wrong. Having that alone puts them at the top for buying or selling btc in canada. I just wish they weren't a fixed rate exchange. Maybe they'll step up here and open a real exchange soon. Lord knows Canada needs one!
Vault of Satoshi had a real address.. I only ever bought my BTC in person. Apparently Quadrigacx does as well but seeing as it is about 5000KM away I won't be going there anytime soon to see. I have talked with Quardriga on the phone if that helps ne lol. QuadrigaCX looks junk to me & rumor the people behind it are shady. Have they even picked up a MSB license in Canada yet? ppl on reddit are saying cointrader.net will be our next best option moving forward & it seems to be favored among VoS former customers. Maybe if I was looking to launder money I'd use quadrigacx.com as they are the only ones who will service anonymous money transfers no questions asked. What have you heard?

Yup, the EVGAs are still available.

We should have some coming in this week.
Paying $100 for an S1 is nuts. No offence. I don't mind buying used. I think we should be able to sell these next ones for $40-50 each.

Remember, Houston TX. Local Pickup.
You're going to need to rethink your price.

The Women's Centre of Calgary is now testing out Lighthouse with a crowd funding campaign. http://bitcoinbrains.com/womenscentre/So far it looks like Lighthouse works pretty well. I'd recommend any charities try it out.

This thread spooks me a bit.
I was wondering if there has been any issues with CAD/BTC withdraw?
VOS just shutdown and I'd like another place to trade. I am not a big fan I will need to give out my banking info but.. w/e I suppose.
(I don't care about stock options at all, no I do not mean to offend I am just not interested in if they are not paying out dividens although it does spell trouble)
Didn't know that Vault was having trouble That leaves Quadriga and Morrex as competitors that said Cavirtex is stable as an exchange been working on their ATM stuff and talking for senate committees. They actually just sold most of their ATM network. Another option is Cointrader.net, they just launched a CAD orderbook. I've never used Morrex but CAVIRTEX, Quadriga and Cointrader are all solid options.

I'd say two S3s are worth more than a Dragon miner even without the PSU.
I feel the trade is adequate as current prices for Dragon Miners are approx £400 whereas you can buy an S3 with PSU for between £150-£200 I am looking for 2 x S3's with only 1 x PSU as I currently have 1 x S3 running one half of the PSU. I will sell my 1TH dragon miner right now for £400 but I think that's unlikely. Keep in mind there is also a 1.5TH model.

I just went through this thread and made a few more donations to recently posted organizations.
People, if you want to receive coin give us your address!! You want to make it easy for people to send you public cash. This is total no brainer stuff. A few of the organizations piped me to a website, asked me to pledge an amount in some odd unit I'm not familiar with, and made me mash the keyboard on fields that said "email" .. "address".. etc.. and to make matters worse it doesn't even look like it is the organization receiving the money because I saw links from coinbase, cavirtex, bitpay, etc.. who knows what fraction of any of that coin will make it to the intended recipient. Many times I have started down that kind of path and stopped. We have better things to do with our time and if the recipient doesn't have a clue what they are doing, probably your coin is better spent elsewhere.
I want to send you funds. Why are you messing with web forms and third party limited liability corporations? This is dead simple stuff.
Just thought I would report my experience. Bitcoin 100 team and charities, keep up the good work!
These 3rd party payment processors make it easier for organizations who don't fully understand bitcoin to still make use of the technology. As to how much makes it to the charity, all 3 of those companies that you mentioned do a great job with that I think. Coinbase charges 0% fees for all merchants on the first $1,000,000 in volume and 1% after that. Bitpay is free forever unless you want advanced features like quickbooks tie ins. CAVIRTEX is free for the first $100,000 in volume for all merchants and 0.5% after that. Charities are free forever. I do agree the donations systems could be easier to use though. The last charity that I posted, http://giveamile.org/donate/ is using a pretty neat widget that I haven't seen before. I'm not sure if/when/where those BTC are being converted to fiat or at what cost though.
