Don't trust this at all. You can't even mine nano and the original poster is the one claiming it's fine. Stay away.

I think the dev should do something to fix the impacts from the 10000 bounty bug.

This bug have given large amount of profits to early miners, however, the mining difficult now is about 40x than before. Ignoring these impacts is not a good solution.

Dev should restart the Chain and start mining from Block 1 again...
To have overlooked the reward of 10000 for 1680 blocks is not correct...
Diff is 40X now and Reward has cut down from 10000 to 500...
This is not fair.

In the grand scheme of things, for a coin with an ultimate total supply of 1 Billion, the initial error is virtually negligible. Far more damage would be done to the reputation of the project by negating the work of those who saw the potential right from the start IMHO. Who would mine it if they knew that, should a bug be discovered in future and enough people complained about it not being fair, their mining time and wallets would be wiped out on a whim? And not just those who benefited from the bug either, but everyone.

Here, among the endless stream of worthless ICOs and copy/paste crap that makes up 99.9% of the Ann forum, is a project that at launch had a working product, a good whitepaper (albeit with some glaring typos), a decent website, wallets and pools ready to go, no ICO, no pre-mine, and a clear vision to be something other than a "me too" coin. You really want to risk all of that because a few people got lucky for a few hours?

Lucky for a few hours? Can you please consider browsing the blockchain explorer... just for the fun of it?

Early adopters did get lucky for a few hours. Yes, it's annoying if you weren't mining during the bug but wiping the slate clean is going to stop anyone from being involved in this project in the future. It signals that the devs will wipe the chain which is fundamentally going to kill any blockchain based technology brand. The best case scenario you could then hope for is a hard fork, however after 24 hours would basically be suicide for any new coin.

I get that it stings right now, but a bug being live for less than 24 hours is negligible in the long run.
