1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi dead? on: August 13, 2021, 03:54:36 PM
Defi isn't dead and cant die, the problems that you raised in your message here are general cryptocurrency problems and most of them have been existing for a long time but cryptocurrency is still thriving.
It is normal for governments to try and control the use of cryptocurrencies the best way they can but decentralized finance is an innovation that is doing great especially with the increased use of NFTs.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will Binance be the next Ethereum? on: August 12, 2021, 11:15:34 PM
As it stands binance smartchain already plays the role as the most popular blockchain in recent months. Its interoperability with the ethereum Blockchain also gives it a big incentive for existing ERC 20 projects making cross-chain integrations much easier and efficient.
BSC still has some way to go before it can topple ETH as the king for altcoins blockchains, but it has the capability to do that
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Want Tesla To Accept Doge? on: August 12, 2021, 11:12:12 PM
I would like to see more companies accept cryptos as a means of payment for services and products. I will like to see this with both big and small business and Tesla is obviously a massive company so this will be a big win for the entire cryptocurrency and blockchain market.
I have my reservations about Elon musk and his methods but that doesn't take away the fact that its great news if Tesla accept Doge
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for good projects on: August 11, 2021, 11:54:45 PM
New Good projects have become very hard to come buy these days, a lot of projects just copy the new hottest trend without actually delivering on any of their promises of project development and innovation. So the bes bet is to look for old projects that are still relatively undervalued.
Here are my suggestions Polkadot, Uniswap, BNB, Monero and stratis.these projects have a lot of potential for growth
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which best Altcoins to buy & HODL for some months on: August 11, 2021, 11:31:22 PM
Altcoins are the most volatile cryptocurrencies in the market right now, a coin can do 10x and then go on to loose 70% of that value within the period of a few months. So altcoins arent necessarily the best to hold over a long period of time, however there are some great coins that may not do big pumps so often but they have a better chance of retaining their high gains over a longer period of time.
BNB is one of such coins and it is one of the few altcoins that i consider ideal for a long term investment
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why buy bitcoins and not altcoins? on: August 09, 2021, 11:29:21 PM
In investments my first Goal is to always protect my capital and equity, after which i then start to leverage well and scale up. So in the case of cryptocurrency, i prefer Bitcoin because it is a safer investment compared to altcoins which are more volatile and can pump or dump at any time
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Scam Airdrops that sweep your wallet, avoid them. on: August 05, 2021, 11:46:08 PM
Thistype of scam is one of the reasons why i frown so much on airdrops. Airdrops have become largely worthless over the past few years and it almost always seem like you are running so much for just a few bucks of cash. This particular airdrop scam is very dangerous because you will almost always fall for it without even knowing it
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why buy bitcoins and not altcoins? on: August 05, 2021, 11:35:54 PM
For starters i think buying Bitcoin is a no brainer. BTC has the largest market share of all the cryptocurrencies on the coinmarketcap and has top secured blockchain. Also Bitcoin value keeps increasing and while it may not see huge amounts in ROI as compared to other altcoins, Bitcoin represents a much safer investment than a lot of altcoins
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolkaDot - Next Ethereum on: August 05, 2021, 11:06:51 PM
As long as decentralized finance projects are concerned, polkadot has been making waves and has the reputation as one of the very best Blockchain for the development of DEFI projects. Defi projects beyond the hype bring innovative real world finance concepts to the blockchain which allows users to use decentralized lending, insurance and a lot of other financial services
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if US ban cryptocurrencies? on: August 05, 2021, 10:40:56 PM
This would surely be a bad news for the whole crypto market because the US has one of the largest users of cryptocurrency. The early sign is that the market would bleed first as people would try to rem9be their investment from the market.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investment and loss anticipation on: August 05, 2021, 10:30:10 PM
People are always fond of saying that you should not invest more than you're going to lose which almost feel like you are expecting to lose money when you want to invest but in reality you are actually expecting to make money so I believe the loss can be offset by actually doing more research and be more strategic in investments so I don't believe you should invest what you are willing to lose but you should invest what you are willing to use in making more money.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Elon Musk manipulating the market? on: August 05, 2021, 09:25:22 PM
I see the cryptocurrency market as big as it is that it is still subject to a lot of fundamental factors. That is why it is easy for market to move when people of influence have a hold on the market and are able to influence price movement.
A lot of people see this as opportunities to make a quick money but, thosr that influence the markets make a lot more money.
So i believe Elon musk actually manipulates the markets for his own personal financial gains and the unregulated nature of the blockchain market helps this to happen
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why some are still loosing money in crypto on: August 05, 2021, 09:13:20 PM
Losing mommy is part of any business, sometimes you will make a mistake, sometimes you will make a good decision but the market will simplyjust go against you. So i dont always take it to heart when i make a loss in the cryptocurrency markets because i am confident in my ability to make back everything i have lost and more.
I recommend you pay alot of attention to knowledge of how cryptocurrency works
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why complain about the dump when the market warned you???? on: August 05, 2021, 04:30:13 PM
One of the most interesting things about the financial markets is that people are making money on both sides of the market, some people are making money as the market dumps while others are making money when the market pumps.
So it is always important to do market analysis based of market structure, price action and candlestick patterns. The inturn tells you when the market is strongly positioned to dump and will prevent you from buying when the market is more likely to sell
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Smart Chain the "New Ethereum"? on: August 05, 2021, 04:25:34 PM
Binance smart chain has proven to be a good alternative to the ethereum Blockchain for new cryptocurrency projects that aim to enjoy the type of security the ethereum blockchain provides but also with a much faster network.
The BSC boasts a very fast blockchian with a relatively small transaction fee so it is no surprise how a lot of projects are adopting it
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never Trade On Emotions on: August 04, 2021, 10:19:56 PM
Trading with emotions is one of the biggest enemies a trader can have as emotions draws one into making erratic and less informed decisions.
Emotions easily leads to over-leveraging, over trading, revenge trading, GOMO, and the fear of being wrong.
In cryptocurrency trading, Learning emotional discipline in trading will almost always make a better trader than focusing solely on technical analysis.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nigerian CBN on a digital currency on: August 04, 2021, 10:11:28 PM
From my findings i can categorically say that i am not expecting the new national cryptocurrency to be successful in the cryptocurrency space.
The Nigerian government epitomizes everything that represents incompetence, and it makes no sense to ban cryptocurrency for no just reason only to turn around and say you want to launch your own cryptocurrency in a  few months when the existing ban hasn't been lifted.
I am not at all optimistic about it.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Criteria for Choosing Alt-coins to Invest In on: August 04, 2021, 09:51:09 PM
The major criteria i consider when analyzing altcoins for investing is the usability of the project. What a project offers the cryptocurrency community will always be the most important criteria in my opinion.
I also consider other things like the community acceptance, the project team and the exchanges they plan to list on.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: August 04, 2021, 09:45:00 PM
I used to have absolute confidence in eth but the efforts that the binance team puts into the development of their platform has given them a edge as the goto platform for development of new cryptocurrencies with their top security and very fast network.
Eth on the other hand has been dragging the development of the ETH V2.
I choose BNB
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still on NFT's? on: August 03, 2021, 11:01:23 PM
NFTs have a very good concept, but i think a lot of projects are going too far with creating their NFTs and just riding the hype wave for quick money. If we are yo be realistic, a big percentage of NFT projects will fail and those that are most likely to fail are the gaming NFT projects because the value of the NFT is often decided by the community of the gaming project.
While gaming is a very huge industry world wide, there are only a few successful blockchain based gaming platforms

The NFTs that i believe will see huge success are those that are connected to cryptocurrency exchanges where NFTs represent a true value of the liquidity that a user provides on the platform
