Meltdown and Specter patch on linux (also on windows) has created many problems, to apply the patch have disabled both selinux and firewall. Beware.

I apologize to the miner in my pool, but I was mining a few hours before and there were more shares for me, but the next block starts from 0 both.

If there are problems with the pool let me know, for me it is not important which pool you use, you have to find the best for you and together we should contribute to the growth of zero.

Yes, what you say is a fair consequence.

The dishonest pool has to be removed from the list of pools in the first page of this thread and from the official website as well.

The problem is though Optiminer comes pre-configured with this pool, making users believe this way that this is their best option.
Some miners even think that this is their only option!!! (yes, some people don't know that there other pools as well!!)

every project related to the currency should be available on github

I have 110 confirmations, but nothing is visible on cryptopia
Maybe dev should contact cryptopia and help them fix the problem?

zero need 720-780 (24h ~) confirmations

how can i set the zero.conf with z-nomp??
My current settings are like this:
{
    "name": "zero",
    "symbol": "zer",
    "algorithm": "equihash N=192 k=7",
     "requireShielding": false,
    "txfee": 0.0001
}

2018-01-10 14:41:51 [Master]   [zero] Cannot run a pool for unsupported algorithm "equihash N=192 k=7"

Anybody have an answer to this dudes question?

There are other parameters to change, z-nomp does not support zero.

Just got banned from Telegram channel from Demarsac after i asked him "Is it a community coin or not?"

You can't add 1% fee like nothing. It's OUR coin not YOUR coin. Or maybe it's your coin?

Dev fee is a BAD and INDELIBLE MARK on the coin and will result in less trust on it.

Adding a dev fee, on a coin that is born to remove dev fee from Zcash, without ASKS COMMUNITY opinion before is OFFENSIVE.

You already mine this coin AS HELL with your friends when it was at 0.3$ or less, i may consider it nearly a premined coin, but this is OK for me.

But why do you want more coins and destroy ZERO reputation?

If you want to do your things just create an your own coin and premine it + dev fee, I must think that you (like a lot of other pleoples) revive dead coins after mining it as hell.

So you can say it's not premined, but you somehow did it.

But at least be respectful to the community and don't fool us with 1% fee dev.

Would you like to pay the people to develop this coin or have to work for free full time?. The work is on github I do not think there is anything shady. Precisely because it is OUR currency we must contribute, otherwise to what are we useful ?, to exploit the work of others?

From what can be understood from the roadmap, here it is not only about improving the basic performances of a coin, transaction speed and quantity per block etc. as all the other coins do, here it is an entire ecosystem that can rotate around a coin or something more evolved with the use of A.I. .. if done well, something HUGE can be born.

@Demarsac "Ethical Philosophy", only this should have a great value .. but not in the midst of speculators, not in this society.

I disagree. Ethics is exactly what is needed in this society.

I agree. Ethics creates trust, and trust creates value.

Thanks guys

Let me just add...

Regardless of what someone has studied or not
Your safest bet is to judge a person by his actions

DM

This is what I said, one should study logic and philosophy, but in this society these studies are lacking and these things are not appreciated, their fundamental importance for the human being is not understood. I expressed myself badly, I apologize, my English is bad.

Is it safe to use the Windows-Wallet? or is it better to leave ZER on exchange...
Some people said, that the wallet is not safe and coins can be lost...

Momentarily the wallet for windows does not have the "encrypt" option, so you can not protect transactions with a password. Or be careful or you can use a third-party wallet for the time being.

Ok, wich third-party wallet supports Zero? I only worry about, if they create a new wallet or something, that my ZER are lost in the BETA-Wallet.

Third-party wallet I mean the exchange market, so you're password-protected and two-factor authentication. Although absolute security does not exist in any context of life.
