1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: February 13, 2018, 06:19:13 PM
Hello pals,
Recently I introduced Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to my friends and family, they liked the concept but they asked me a question that I wasn't able to answer. Is Bitcoin really secure? What if a hacker was able to hack Bitcoin system/blockchain?Who manages Bitcoin security and what are the security measures taken to avoid hackers being able to steal Bitcoins? Why Bitcoin is not blocked for those who use it illegally by buying/selling in the deepweb market? What if governements ban Bitcoin because of these people?
I really appreciate if you  guys give me some answers
The blockchain is a very sophisticated and very safe system, so your bitcoin is also very secure.
I believe that in the next few years bank and governments will start using the blockchain also. it is one of the safest systems ever created.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoins taxable? on: February 13, 2018, 06:11:51 PM
Let's Bitcoin takes off. Say you lived in the US and had an online service that dealt in the equivalent of ~20,000 USD or more income for you (personally). What are the laws for income tax on a currency like this? Can you get in trouble with the IRS by simply having tons of BTC that the market values at (currently) almost 5$ per BTC?
According today as long you only holding bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency you don't need to pay.
Only if you sell them you need to report it.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: January 25, 2018, 10:58:44 AM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!
I think so.
You can't tell what will happen tomorrow and you don't want to find you're self in a place that you lose a lot.
Invest money that you don't afraid to lose.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2018, 10:53:07 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
Every person have his opinion and if someone don't believe in Bitcoin it is his problem.
Personally I an a great believer in the cryptocurrencies.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: January 25, 2018, 10:40:54 AM
I See topics about banning and I want to ask.

Is botcoin really that bad? To banned by other countries?
Do the other government in other countries see something bad?
Can bitcoin be used to locate us?and see what we are doing? In short a Spyware.

In my opinion it because governments afraid to lose power of there currency.
Government don't want there population start using other currencies that aren't theres.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: January 25, 2018, 10:34:48 AM
Bitcoin price keeps increasing. Price is x10 considering last year. Even 25k-50k-100k is predicted.

Are you adding more bitcoin by buying with cash? or you trade or invest in ICOs & altcoins in order to increase the amount you have?

or do you just hold what you have?
Personally I hold but its because I don' want to lose what i am afraid to lose.
People should invest in Bitcoin but only what they can afford.

Hello guys.
I am newbie here and I want to know that what is fork?and what is Bitcoin gold and Bitcoin cash?

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a person died with BTC!! on: January 23, 2018, 04:23:25 PM
What will happen??

No one will have the BTC address. Hence will them isolated?

In FIAT, people can handover money to someone.. So, i predict BTC will be disappeared gradually.
[/quote
I think it is a big problem!!
If someone died and you don't his password or the seed the money is lost.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: January 18, 2018, 02:14:22 PM
I love the concept of Bitcoin. I believe the Internet will redefine currency as we know it.  I hope this helps the Bitcoin community to develop a currency that's really resilient to attacks.

But, is it possible?
I don't think Bitcoin can be hacked.
The blockchain is a very sophisticated, and I think it is impossible to hack it.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: January 18, 2018, 02:08:19 PM
Since bitcoin is trending now world wide because you can easily earn this and it exchange in real cash. Is bitcoin the new value of currency in the internet? Is he the new money? Can we use it in buying foods and etc in the future?

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this right time to buy Bitcoin on: January 18, 2018, 02:01:56 PM
Hello guys, I am in crypto world since last biggest correction in 2017 when bitcoin fall from 4500 to 2500 and i lost some money when i bought at 4000 and sold at 3000 and then I've put all my money on altcoins which doubled their value but still bitcoin would have bought 3 times value. i think this is next best value to buy bitcoin what do you say buy it at 10k USD or wait till it goes for 9k or 8k.
I think now is a great time.
But this is only my opinion and in this market you can never know.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: January 18, 2018, 01:54:21 PM
I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy
First time my transaction got stuck {haha} and I waited about 1 week until the [Suspicious link removed]ive to me
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: January 17, 2018, 09:53:30 AM
I am sure we touched the bottom today. so i am going to real Estate Dealer for selling my house and buy bitcoin. I suggest you all do that
I am not sure these is a good idea, how ever I believe in the Bitcoin it is still a risk and you dont want to find you're self someday losing your house.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoint to $1,800 USD by end of 2018 on: January 17, 2018, 09:45:20 AM
I think Bitcoin will only get stronger in 2018.
All the alts are down, it is something that going to change soon.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think this crash is good on: January 17, 2018, 09:36:09 AM
I actually start to feel good about it. Hope it weeds out all that dont care about crypto but were purely in it for monetary gains and didnt know one horseshit bout the tech or anything.

In hindsight i didnt liked the enourmous gains. It was surreal. I dont mind not having cashed out because i thought: and then what? Why are u in it? Because at this stage its nothin but a ponzi. I want to take gains when the blockchain bases companies are actually in operating, thriving.

From the start i wanted to take gains for when the masses get in, for use, not the masses that are speculating. Cause then its nothin more then another bitconnect ponzi. Lets face it. All these whales that are taking profits. I dont want to be one of them. They take ponzi money. From people that worked hard for their money. And now they lost it. Sure, panic sellers as well. But still i imagine lot of profit takers as well.

But other then that i rather have a little more stable growth and more people that love crypto. Even the useless eth token scammers contribute more to crypto then mindless investors.

And i feel more normal again. I was gaining so much that, in hindsight, i was starting to lose myself a bit. Even my dreams and ambition.
Dont think you are correct.
There were a lot of crashes in the Bitcoin over the time and in the end he always rise up.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: January 02, 2018, 09:48:29 PM
We see sometimes bitcoin price increase or decrease. How I can predict whether bitcoin price increase or decrease.Again, who controll this price.I appreciate if you kindly share your experience.
I dont think anyone can predict the price of bitcoin, unless you have some inside knowledge.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: January 02, 2018, 09:26:04 PM
Bitcoins has regained its strong value, As of this posting, the value per 1 bitcoin is exactly 4786.59 US Dollar.   Soon we will see more ways people can squeeze the most out of bitcoins.   Since the advent of the internet to be profit oriented in the 90's, no one would possibly have imagined that the Internet would breed Facebook, Google, Uber, online streaming, etc. This is where we are with the Blockchain now. There exists a whole world of opportunities out there.

These opportunities have the unrighteous users of this cryptocurrencies to also used its advantage. We cannot deny for a fact that cyber crimes have been committed since the birth of the internet.  Once, stealing was done with having guns, now, robbers can easily hack bank accounts or counterfeit credit cards to their advantage.  Sooner, cryptocurrencies can be used to pay crimes such as services for creating counterfeit birth certificates and this is not far from happening.  Actually, the US has already cases on this matter.

Another is the crime of buying illegal-drug emporium that used Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, politicians and policymakers took notice. Criminals, it turns out, really like bitcoins, which can be exchanged for nefarious purposes on the "Dark Web," with complete anonymity and, it seems, impunity.

Although, there are some articles that i have read regarding criminals cannot hide behind bitcoins, still, there are difficulties tracing transactions using cryptocurrencies. That is why law enforcement agencies should have a to change their procedures to pursue criminals who make use of the latest technology to commit crimes. Let the law find a way to evolve to address new tech challenges. There is no reason to expect that law enforcement won’t be able to get a handle on this new cybercrime.
Of course it is used in crime but in my opinion it doesn't say nothing because in the and if its not bitcoin it is something else.
also cash used in crime.
