1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinTracking - Profit/Loss Portfolio and Tax Reporting for Digital Currencies on: May 03, 2018, 05:36:16 PM
How does one get a new coin added to CoinTracking?  I purchased some "Credits Energy" (CRED) tokens, but that ticker is already used by something, so I can't log the purchase.

Is the best way to open a ticket with them?

Why are BNB fees from trades on Binance not being calculated in the BNB balance?  The fees are correctly imported from Binance for purchases of coins but the BNB fees are not deducted from the total BNB balance?

Actually, this seems to be a more general bug - it looks like "fees" on all types of transactions are not included in calculating total balance.  I noticed that the transactions imported from my ETH wallet had no transaction fees, and that my "current balance" was incurred - by just about the amount of the transaction fees.  I went through all of the transactions and added the fee, but the "current balance" did not change.

Oddly, transactions imported from a BTC wallet do have transaction fees, even for incoming transactions.  However, for a BTC wallet import, the "amount" of the transaction includes the fee, which is why the BTC wallet balance is correct.

So, several bugs:
1) Transaction fees are ignored for computing current balance
2) ETH wallet imports don't include transaction fees
3) BTC wallet imports include transaction fees for incoming transactions
4) BTC wallet imports include the transaction fee in the amount of the transaction

Turns out, my expectation of what the "fees" does is just plain wrong.  It is only for informational purposes.

See this link:  https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/29000007202-entering-fees

Personally, I think this is a rather weak implementation.

The presale has a minimum contribution of 1 ETH (too rich for me at the moment).  Will the general sale (which now starts on 3/15?) have a lower minimum?  What will that be?

I use Coinomi which (annoyingly) uses different addresses for the same Bitcoin wallet - so far as I can tell, there are actually like 6 or 8 addresses associated with the same wallet.

I tried to set up the BTC Wallet Sync, and provided one of the addresses, but CoinTracking only imported the transactions for that address, which isn't everything in the entire wallet.  I hoped that I could enter the public key of the wallet, but although there are no errors or anything in CoinTracking, there are also no imported transactions (suggesting that this just silently fails).

Is there an way to accomplish what I want - to sync all of the transactions from my Coinomi BTC wallet?  Or, do I have to figure out all of the addresses that have been used, and sync all of them?  Kind of annoying to have to upgrade all the way to Unlimited just to get this one logical wallet imported...

Hopefully, I'm missing something.

you need to put all the address' in to cointracking, personally i just put my receiving address in have that as in only and add the withdrawals/spends manually which isnt ideal but its pretty straight forward and its not like you spend or transfer btc every day is it?

otherwise switch to a different wallet that allows you to enter your change address and put the change address as the sending address

So, it's pretty easy to restrict the incoming addresses, but what about "change" addresses?  Yes, I can manually input all outgoing transactions, but that's a big pain.  And, there are sooooo many "change" addresses for the wallet (like 30).  There's got to be a better way.

Formal enhancement request: Let me put in the public key of the wallet and then get all of the transactions for all addresses on that wallet!

I did receive them.  Thank you.

I made a purchase during the pre-sale, and got a receipt from OLXA.  However, I have not received tokens in my ETH wallet, nor do I see any indication that I have tokens on the OLXA web site (it shows my bonus tokens, but not for the ones I purchased).  Is this expected?

Interesting.

So, I have dug deeper.  Looking at the wallet that I sent my transaction to, there were token transfers out of that wallet that appeared to be automatically triggered by the incoming transaction (a common thing with ICOs, so great).  My transaction, however did not trigger such an event - at least, when I scan through all of the token transfers from that address, looking for my address, I don't see it.

So, either I sent my transaction incorrectly, or there was a glitch in the contract, or something.  So, lots of other people did get their tokens, just not me.  Bummer.

I'll try emailing the Dev on their web site - maybe there's still a human being back there.  At least there is still activity on that wallet.

Thanks.

I agree, the fact that the team went silent is a bad sign.  But, the one thing that gives me pause is this: if it was a scam from the beginning, why do an airdrop a couple of weeks ago, after the ICO was complete?  There was no benefit to them to do this.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Introducing Bitcoin Silver (BTCS) JOIN OUR ICO: www.bitcoinsilver.io on: January 31, 2018, 03:51:09 PM
I did get the 3,000 I bought showing in my Ethereum wallet as ERC-20 tokens.
Really?  What (if anything) did you have to do to see them?  When I look at my wallet on Ethplorer, it's not there.  When I enter the contract information on MyEtherWallet, it shows a 0 balance.  But, maybe I'm doing something wrong...

Share your process?

If this is a scam, can't community members just take it over and resurrect it since the tokens are on the Ethereum blockchain?
Except that they never released the tokens to investors (I know, because I am one)

Has anyone actually received their BTCS from the ICO?  I see that there has been some recent activity on the ICO account, sending 800,000 BTCS to etherdelta, but I don't know what that might signify...

Very much excited about Bitcoin Quick and their upcoming launch (and, yes, the recent airdrops).  Their response to the inevitable technical challenges of launching a new cryptocurrency has been exemplarily.  Looking forward to BTCQ going to the moon!

Anyone do this?
It is safe? With autofill mode?

I didn't use the autofill mode, but I did follow the instructions (sent a 0 ETH transaction to that address with that data).  Looking at the result on Etherscan, it looks like it was legit - furthermore, when I added the custom Token in MyEtherWallet, the expected amount was there.
