Would you guys be interested in having another block explorer for Expanse like www.shiftchain.net / www.kryptonchain.com ? Since they are moving away from Ethereum based chains, I don't want to abandon the block explorer and would like to keep improving it and Expanse seems like a good fit as long as it would get some usage. Hi mate, Another explorer would be good, Join Slack and chat about it in there. http://slack.expanse.tech/

Nice to see more people using Open Ethereum Pool, I might be blind but I did not see any information about pool feels. Normally new pools start off with 0 fees until they get enough miners and start finding blocks, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks again for the new pool! Edit: I see the pool fee now at 0%, disregard this message The official expanse pool will be 0% fee and pool pays all gas/tx fee's happy mining....

Hey all, I setup a new pool if anyone wants to mine one it feel free, Same look as my Expanse Solo Proxy. Tested and working well have fun Expanse Pool: http://www.mineit.xyzvery cool thanks! I will bring some hashpower over next week. What kind of rigs are you mining with? 4 Sapphire 280x video cards. what hashrate are you getting and the amount of exp per day? You can get an indication of your hashrate here, your hashrate will be a little higher but eg: i have 2 x HD 7870 XT's an i get around 38MH/s the hashrate on the calculator is based off ETH and EXP has a lower epoch so you will get faster hashing. https://www.gitbox.link/calc/index.html

All in one looking fantastic their. Any chance of having miner built to it too for solo mining or have .bat created with it seen another all in one that does this too on different coin loads all things needed to solo and has bat for pool mining too.
Hi crazyearner, It has ethminer and expanse solo mining proxy built into it so you can solo mine with it and it will add a short cut to your desktop for your choice of GPU be it ATI or Nvidia. The only thing it dose not have is an option for pool mining but you can add your own batch file for that. This is a working version of the Solo proxy front end http://www.gitbox.link:4000/

I will add a expstats.json for you later with avg networkhash, difficulty, avg block time, current block if thats all you need? Wont be for a couple of hours i have a couple of things to do.
Thank you, most appreciated. Actually I only need "blockcount" and "difficulty". "Total coins" would also be useful, but I can get that from coinmarketcap if problematic. Ok done has current block and difficulty http://www.gitbox.link/expstats.jsonTotal coins you can get from http://www.expanse.tech/explorer/api/totalsupplyThanks Wasnt aware that this calc is yours. I have seen the json exposed there, but didnt want to steal data from another calc lol All good take what you need, just dont hammer the server please. If you have any questions please join slack there is always someone on there to help

Hey,
Would like to add Expanse to my site, looking for an API with difficulty and blockcount. Anything available?
Run a gexp node and use web3 and add a little javascript and your done. you could run a node and just pull that info
Well thats not what I asked for. I am in no position to run a node for each coin I add. Basically I was following this tweet: https://twitter.com/expanseofficial/status/701404350715994113Our block explorer has recently been updated over the last few days, the public API will be launching today. +1 Dan! I understand that this is still not done a month later? I will add a expstats.json for you later with avg networkhash, difficulty, avg block time, current block if thats all you need? I've been trying to install the windows wallet, but when running gexp.exe, it runs about 8 lines then stops at "starting server". I've disabled antivirus, ensured windows firewall isn't a problem with udp 42786, and also allowed that port in the router......... something seems to be halting gexp at this point, and I cannot find out what it is. If i run the wallet and look at the console, it says "No running gexp instance found, launching integrated console." Has anyone else had this problem (and figured out a solution!) Yes, same problems here. I have tried all the tricks I know with no luck. It all started about 5 days ago, or was the last time I send coins successfully. I tried the suggestion and method by revel" Which is pretty close to some things I had tried, but again no luck. Ok, if anyone has a trick we're not aware of let us know Running on Windows 10, all has been fine until about 5 days ago. May try on a W7 system.... PS: running v1.35 and it still loads and then stops (or at least seems to be just sitting there). Even tried creating an entire new folder (apps/data etc. ) Try running gexp with: gexp --port "42786" --rpc --rpcaddr "127.0.0.1" --rpcport "9656" --rpccorsdomain "*" --maxpeers "100" --nat "none" console

Thank you, this calculator is great. Nice calculator didn't see that was page behind on posting. Gives me a idea of what to expect if mining this coin. Take the pre configured Hashrate's with a grain of salt, They are based off of ETH hashrates so you can expect 20-30% more as EXP's epoch is way lower then ETH's, I just have no base line too go off so they are based on ETH mining.
