OptiToken has released the details regarding the airdrop on Bay holders:Optitokens will be airdropped to BAY holders in the following format. 1:300 meaning 1 OptiToken for every 300 BAY the top 500 addresses hold in their BAY cold wallet at time of snapshot at roughly 3pm UTC on May 1st, 2018. The amount is set to be roughly 3.9 million OptiToken which is in ICO value nearly €500,000 value at current ICO rate of €0.12 per OptiToken. The value can grow as well as we are extending a way for others to participate. OptiToken is a strong believer in BAY and looks forward to its growth as it nears its pegging to the USD. What if my BAY are stuck on UpBit? Please speak with Seungjin in the Korean BitBay TG group as he’s coordinating the solution and we will most certainly include those individuals. What if I’m not a top 500 address but still active in community? Simply shoot us an email at airdrop@optitoken.io with your Slack name or TG name and an ERC20 compatible ETH wallet address we will drop you 30 OPTI as well Here’s an added bonus we’ve decided to add in as we try to innovate demand in this bearishly depressing market: Airdrop doubles for BAY holders who buy 2 ETH+, triples for people who buy 5 ETH+ of OPTI. So what this means is if someone is set to receive 4,000 OPTI’s from Airdrop their allocation will raise to 8,000 or even 12,000 additional tokens If someone from the BAY community doesn’t have enough BAY to be a top 500 address then they can still participate and receive 2,500 additional OPTI if they purchase 2 ETH+ of opti and hold at least 1000 BAY, 5,000 additional opti if they buy 5 ETH+ and hold at least 1000 BAY. To receive this discount email info@optitoken.io with your BAY deposit address so we can explore the balance along with your email you used to sign up and purchase OptiToken. We’ll examine both address on or within a few days of the timestamp date for Airdrop which is May 1st. Did you know? OptiToken recently switched its ICO pegged price from the EURO to ETH=€385 (22% added value) and BTC=€6480 (20% roughly added value) whyd we do this? This gives HODL’ers and true believers in crypto a chance to rewind time a bit and peg their crypto’s value a bit higher while bad actors continue to try to drive market prices down! OptiToken.io is where you go if you wish to participate. We hope this brings a lot of new buys to OptiToken as we have people who are now learning about BAY for the first time in our social outlets and we hope the same happens for OptiToken. I'm not a top 500 holder so I emailed the link to see how I can get an airdop as you say, but I've got no response. Is there anything else I should do?

Last time we had a surprise was during Christmas and it was pretty awesome. I hope tomorrows special announcement will be interesting. Too bad its a bloodbath for every coin right now.
yeah everything is getting slaghtered but our little bay is holding tight! This is a super valuable concept, and if Bay doesnt move things along, someone else with more means and better marketing is going to beat us to it... But really to Dave and the devs, its come such a long way and truly great work. Lets finish strong in 2018!

price going down day after day . i think we can see 0.1 usd each srn ; this coin need binance for more movement ; sirin labs Token lost vote before some months but it can list without vote this time . they have a good development teams They had already announced hosting of the best soccer player in the world Lionel Messi but unfortunately we did not see...any video or picture confirm that !!!! IIRC I did see a pic with sirin and Messi. That said, these bastards are huge criminals and sneaky shady filth IMO. What I believe is the case, is that in the beginning they had about 110mil tokes out there, with a "max" of 500mil. Each token went from 50c to $3.50 in a month. I got in at $2.50 and I thought that was good. But what I've seen now, is that ALL of their 500mil tokens are on the market, which means IF I'm right (hopefully I'm not and I'll be happy to be corrected), is that they flooded the market with 400mil tokens, diluting value and cutting the price off at the knees gown to 1/11th of what it was (currently, and it will drop much more IMO). And I fully agree its going down to 10c price, and I'm going to back the truck up because then they will start pumping it like crazy, and say "look, we've gone up 30 times (say it goes back to $3 for example), we're awesome!! When in reality $3 isnt even record highs, and they are the ones that chopped down the price so then in the future they could hype it up more.

so ZCL team official scam artists...this pNd projects are getting out of hand!!
Thats exactly how I see this. They built the coin, pumed it, used it as a vessel for another one, are pumping it. Then let dumped all the zcl, ran off with the money, and are getting ready to do the same thing with BTCP aaallll over again. IMO btcp will do the same giant BnD... Which is really to bad because zcl in itself looked like a great coin. But the scamsters are just using it as a scam. I think someone is going to buy it though, and it may actualy reach its potential and way overpass btcp...

Thank you all for your input! so from what I see, its about a 70% chance it will die a horrible death, and about a 30% chance that it will moon...

Hello all, I'm looking to get into zcl. Can anyone tell me what the point of this coin is? Is it dead now that btcp took its place? I see one person thinks it will go to $35 this year. Any other hypothesis? I know alot of people got murdered on this so maybe its a good time to get in. OTOH maybe its fully dead, I saw again today it took another shit. Ideas all? TIA

So whats going on with Ignis? I heard alot about it and so I was happy to buy at 5500sats, and now its less than half of that. What happened? Is this dead for good? All the cryptos suffered from the crash of January, Ignis crashed too. The market will recover, be patient and you'll be rewarded Thanks friend, so you think it has the potential that it was hyped for? Or it this a dead coin? Just seems odd it was slaughters much more than most coins, yet looks like it has alot more potential...

Mr. Dave, So another suggestion of the marketing front - you were explaining to me about the various issues one can encounter with installing/downloading/using the Client. Even if you do nothing else and keep the Client how it is, it would IMO be wise to have instruction and directions for its instalation and use, and the potential download and instalation issues as well as solutions for them. Once it is more user friendly, then the advertizing will work much beter. Because if you do ads now and succeed to bring people to the site, and then they have to figure a bunch of issues out before they can even proceed, people will be turned off and leave. So its best to have as much help as possible ready to assist the potential user in installing and using.
And of course, a good and succesful product will advertize itself. Once people are succesfuly using the client, they will tell others, plus marketing will bring more people in who will see its succesful, and you will develope a virtuous cycle.

Also Greek translations... sure. I'm not the one who does the recruiting. Simply ask Aletha on Slack or perhaps they can contact you here if they still need someone.
So Mr. Dave, I went to login to slack, and after I gave my info it wants me to create a typeform. Am I at the right place? Do I have to do this to get in? Do you have to invite me?

PS what is fud?
cheers!
FUD when most people use it really refers to Facts Uncovering Deception although they try to tell you they mean Fear uncertainty and doubt This board is full of stuff like that and youll soon get used to it. Welcome to bitbay anyway at least you manage to find this thread amongst the pages and pages of utter trash here. And thank you Cryptohunter for the welcome, looks like I'm in fine company Cool So crypto hunter, looks as if you've been around a few cycles, how do you see this down turn were in? For me and others newbs its a grave, for you old-times it doesnt matter much lol. But what do you think about Bay in the next 1-3 months? Cheers

Mr. Zimbek - about the downloading the client and interfierence issues, I'm not sure it was the AV that blocked me, I'll try again and tell you specificaly. But this is the main issue I see with BB. The main purpose is to have a decentralized trading platform that everyone can use. But it has to be idiot friendly, so even I can use it. If it stays how it is now, only (relatively) hard-core techies will use it. But if its interactive like alibaba, it will go mainstream... and I think we can all imagine the customer base that you will have at that point!!

Funds did come in to Bitbay we have had volume over 40 million daily and have broken all of our records including in satoshis. You have to realize that 150 Billion comes in proportion to the project. If Bitcoin grows 10% it gains billions on "paper". If BitBay grows 10% it gets another 30 million or so on paper.
As for timeline of course, we work very hard and have had a reputation to deliver on features. I think the updated roadmap was recently released.
Thank you Mr. Zimbeck for all you work and answers! If I seem impatient, its not because I am impatient for returns, these will come and I dont worry. Even with us getting our legs lobbed off, I know it will be ok. My concern is simply someone else beating us to market, even with an inferior product, but flashy marketing. I know you work extremely hard! I dont not question that at all. But man I've seen many brilliant ideas get lost... The most important thing for me - which I consider part of the marketing - is to get the bay from desk-top, to interactive. Example and this is a real example, not hypothetical - I'm a tech idiot, hence my name. I go to the website, and I want to sell a Mattias Heinicke 1923 Bohemian violin. I mean this thing is cherry, 99-98% condition, custom built for my great grandfather. Its 2 steps down from a Stratovarius. My grandmother really needs the money, and I'm thinking what better place to sell internationally. Well, I go to the bitbay website, and nowhere do I see where to actually list my item. So I call my multi-millionaire friend, he says I have to download the Client. Now if I didnt have my friend, I would have left. The front page should say in huge letters: DOWNLOAD THE CLIENT TO USE THE BUY/SELL FUNCTION". Thats not on there, marketing problem. So I try to download it, I get all sorts of errors, saying I have to disable this and that before it can install. I dont know how to do all that, I'm an old HVAC business man, but a tech ding-dong. So I've never been able to download it, and now I gotta find a different way to sell the violin. So people have to go through alot of trouble to use the feature that makes Bitbay, Bitbay. Huge marketing problem, I'd say Achilles heel. You know many others are also working on similar products, and they may have deeper pockets. I know its a huge step and I know you want to do it, but if you can make the marketplace interactive like ebay, then 10,000 sats is a blip on the screen. Cheers my friend! Well first of all if you had any problems installing and had to disable antivirus or something blocking it that is typical. The software was made with the consideration of your security, privacy, anonymity, resistances to hacks, etc. Unfortunately antivirus software tends to block peer to peer software and python unjustly. I don't actually use them for that any many other reasons as they don't seem to prevent any security holes and slow down the system and send private data to 3rd parties. With that said, the reason I didn't start with a web app is because the blockchain and all the sysetms this runs to literally run where this thing would still work in an apocalypse is not conducive to web apps. Web has much lower security in general. However, I have long known that people will sacrifice some security for utility and thus indeed Bitbay should be something anyone can host a webpage and see the listings. To bridge both systems is unorthodox and a pretty big coding task. I've been trying to get it to that level as it would indeed be the first of it's kind. We have new people looking at breaking it into sections and getting that done. The security model is very different. We also have taken a much more aggressive stance in marketing as well lately. Also you must realize there is a liability factor. Peer to peer systems are superior in this regard because users are responsible for their own actions. In the case of unbreakable peer to peer contracts there is a mild conflict of interest if this thing isn't engineered so that anyone can host it and that users security is all on the front end. It can look the way you describe but it's not an overnight process. Also the word "FUD" means "Fear, uncertainty, doubt". It can at times apply to a person who tries to attack a project or propagandize it for ulterior motives. It can also mean that something is unjustly negatively hyped, that sort of thing. Also Greek translations... sure. I'm not the one who does the recruiting. Simply ask Aletha on Slack or perhaps they can contact you here if they still need someone. Fascinating! sure looks as if you are approaching everything holisticly and methodicaly. And this is why I'm all into Bitbay. I'll go look up Slack, I guess there is a Bitbay thread there? Let me see if you guys still need a Hellene Thanks again friend Cheers!

Hello everyone, thank you all for your great contributions. I found Bitbay with my best friend a year ago, when it ws a bit over 1c. We both loved it. The difference being, he went out and sold almost everything he had and put it all on Bitbay, while I called him crazy. He called me crazy and said it was the future. Now he's a multi-millionair telling me "I told you so and you said I was crazy" and laughing, and I'm here with my d!ck in my hand So anyway, now that I'm in I just want to say this to mr. Zimbeck - the community here and myself really believe in this project. I think you have all the right ideas, I'm all itno this and nothing else. But being in business myself, I cannot stress enough: someone with a mediocre product but great marketing, will always beat someone with a great product and mediocre marketing. I think this is the best venture in the crypto world by far and I'm looking forward to $1/coin, but I really really stress you gotta invest in a really good marketing person. If you even have just ok marketing with your phenominal project, then $1/coin will be just the beginning. Otherwise, it will be the end. You see all these other hype-helium coins with nothing at all out-performing us on nothing but marketing. Imagine what a REAL project can do... PS I love how you Mr Zimbeck still read and reply to your community, keep it up & all the best wishes!!! The marketing will come, but now isn't really the time to do so imo. While the functionality is there, the GUI looks pretty dated. Once the new GUI is in play and rolling peg is released, the masses will flock to this coin. Is there a timeline in place for these events? In the meantime, in the last month about 150 billion market cap has come into cryptos, and almost none into Bitbay. Marketing IMO is THE most important thing now. They are already way ahed in vision and tech, and behind only in marketing.
