1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: February 09, 2018, 12:33:01 PM
guys  how many % of your crypto assets are in EOS?
I have made investment into EOS almost 80% , the rest of my investment in other digital coins and boom the values of money in EOS increased, i am sure it is just the beginning EOS in the future will be more expensive than today, i think it will be at least $100/EOS on june 2018 or maybe more than it.

I hope so.

Anyone knows how we can contact the core team of EOS?

I tried to contact them via block.one but did not get any reply.

Disappointed. Sad.

Try this: https://t.me/EOSproject

Doesn't seem very useful.

A lot of people are asking questions, but hardly any answers.

Right this is the general one, here you go:
Developers: https://t.me/joinchat/EaEnSUPktgfoI-XPfMYtcQ
Block Producers: @EOSPros
Governance: @EOSGov

Don't panic it is organic, just keep buying the coins that are on sales because that is the best opportunity to get some good cryptocurrencies in the market and if you have patience then you can just hold them for at least until next year and expect some good results with your holdings or portfolio.

January investor before the crash, and I think, well hope that in December, I may have back my initial investissement.

I  heard there are a lot of Airdrops coming for EOS holders...
Is that true? If yes then will it be distributed by some limit or according to the stakes people have?

Based on EOS Seoul announcement (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzfokidkg9s), it appear that EOS holders will get airdroped tokens for every new project.

The first one is Everipedia IQ, last I saw on telegram:

====
✈️✈️✈️ AIRDROP: Welcome EOS holders. We will be announcing more details about the airdrop in the next few weeks. It will be ERC20 so make sure you hold your EOS off exchange when the snapshot date (to be announced) occurs. If you participated in the crowdsale, be sure to claim your tokens beforehand. We will give at least a week's notice ahead of time so you have time to prepare.

We will be releasing the tokens before the June 1 2018 EOS mainnet release. This should help stimulate community growth and engagement, especially because we want token holders to vote for some ground rules of the Everipedia Network.

UPDATE (1/24/2018): Right now we are working on various coding challenges:
1) How to make sure EOS holders are accounted for between now and also after the mainnet launch
2) The airdrop script itself
3) Tracking down the current balances of EOS holders
=======

What should i do now i have bought some EOS trough bitfinex. The Coins are still on the Exchange im good with it atm?

You need to register them before the ICO finish or they become useless.

Personally I wait till Mai in order to know if Kraken register them for me.
If they don't until then - I will register them myself.

You can find more info on registration on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/eos/

You forgot to mention that you need to register your personal address (MetaMask, MyEtherWallet, etc.) not an exchange address.

Depend if exchanges decide to register for customers.
Kraken told me that they will decide closer to the date.

Edit: Need to register them soon for Everipedia airdrop.

I'm trying to transfer EOS from one account to another and my transaction immediately fails with "nonce too low"

EOS from wallet to wallet? You need ETH to pay gaz I think.

Is EOS still in ICO or has the actual ICO finished? What is the good thing about EOS to make me want to purchase some more of it? Many people call it the next ETHEREUM so what do you think is a good amount of EOS to hold as a standard portfolio investment? I am thinking to purchase 100 EOS and just hold it long term. I am watching many videos and everyone is talking about EOS.

Watch this, it have good explanations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=5&v=yzfokidkg9s

I am for EOS.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: January 22, 2018, 08:27:09 AM
I have been slowly accumulating bits of EOS with little trading profits I get from trading on COSS exchange. I try to buy extra EOS there. Now I saw there is an airdrop coming so if I have my EOS in my MEW wallet does that mean I will automatically get IQ tokens or do I need to do anything else to receive those? Also I am thinking of accumulating EOS up until it gets to 20 USD. Is that a good target entry price? I have 150 EOS so far.

i never read about this airdrop. do you have a link. thank you.
