1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ZOIN---Zerocoin Protocol NEW TEAM-NO PREMINE-NO ICO---ZOIN on: March 28, 2018, 02:41:30 AM
I think I am going to officially wave the white flag on mining this coin.  1x i7-6700 and 2x i5-3400 after about a week of mining and my balance currently sits at .314

I guess maybe if i had a server farm id see better results?

Love the project though. I will continue to watch it closely.

After watching today's facebook stream, I feel like Electroneum has the potential of a promising future. In general, getting the coin into the masses (to scale of 10 of millions of users) is good for all crypto. Getting patents. Establishing a business. All good things for larger businesses to take their product/offering seriously. Maybe they don't have all the right technical people (devs) in place today, but that is an easy fix. The business plan and approach is what gives this project potential.

The introduction of ASIC miners doesn't really scare me either. To his point, look at bitcoin's value. Sure, ASIC will knock GPU miners out of the picture, but thinking big picture, that shouldn't matter. If you believe its worth mining, instead invest in the coins, and wait for the value to increase.

anyone else having issues with neoscrypt today? Every time the miner switches to this algo, the miner windows just crashes/disappears. Never saw this prior to this morning...
i had few hours ago, just re run benchmark making sure PalginNeoHasrate.txt is blank

Still no luck. Doesn't make sense to me, this was working perfectly up until a day ago. I am still running nemos 2.3.... Decided to try moving to 2.4.2, but ccminer crashed on at least half of the benchmarks like others have reported.

For a sanity check, I went back and re-benchmarked all algo's on 2.3. Everything works with the exception of neoscrypt.

No windows updates. No driver updates. No system changes at all.

Just wanted to say what a shitty day it is for all crypto. December and most of January were incredible - now garbage. Sometimes it's chicken, sometimes it feathers.

agreed Sad

Anyone know what might cause the reject rate to increase so drastically? I am seeing 27% rejection rate... Not entirely sure why though.

Anyone using 1080 or 1080 Ti cards running this miner care to share their hashrates? I can't seem to source 1070ti's at a reasonable price anymore (only slightly less than 1080) and want to build my next rig. Trying to determine what the best path is. Thanks in advance!

hi guys.

New miner here. Just finished building my rig over the weekend, and get everything setup using this miner. I have been enjoying it so far. Lots of valuable information in this thread as well - thanks to everyone who has contributed!

Had 2 quick questions though (more related to my setup). I'm running two 1070ti cards: 0 GPU, +650 MEM

1) I'm seeing a hash rate of out 12.5 Mh/s per card, mining X-17. Does that sound about right? Playing with GPU/MEM clock settings seems to have no impact on this number.

2) Is it normal to see the hashrate bouncing around like this (ahashpool wallet page)?
