1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that atl-coins are still "alt"? on: November 28, 2017, 01:05:08 AM
Some will say that Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency, and all other coins are alternate coins. Other opinion is that because there are also some other good coins out there, they should not be treated as alt coins. Here I talk about Ethereum, Monero and few other good coins. At the and, for me it doesn't matter if something is called altcoin or not. Only thing that is important, is the value of the coin and the earning that we can gain from the coins.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: November 28, 2017, 01:00:51 AM
It is obviously a very realistic amount. Although, there has been so many ups and downs and finding it hard to break resistance, so for now, I would not want to keep my hopes too high as even the current value can just drop any time. But no one really knows as there are lots of surprises in the crypto world, so I guess we just have to see. End of 2018 is still a long time from now and I do not expect ETH to be the same by then, so $1000 can still be possible.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 kinds of ICOs — Protect yourself on: November 28, 2017, 12:51:06 AM
After reading tons of whitepapers of crap icos, I found this thread to be so informative and useful. 90% of current ICO projects are either non-sense or simply scams, 9% could be startups that could have failed first round in real world presentations for investors, probably 1% or less is the blockchain app that really makes sense and their coin value could be more than 0.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: November 28, 2017, 12:36:02 AM
I don't think so. But maybe it will go this way, if Bitcoin dies altcoin will rise. Since the demand is being divided into alts and Bitcoin. It is just that Bitcoin is having a larger community and market value. So if Bitcoin will be gone, all the demand that it is getting and its community will go or be moved to altcoin that will make altcoin something to look forward with if this thing will happen.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can I protect my self from being hack of bitcoin on: November 28, 2017, 12:27:28 AM
If you want to be safe from hackers of bitcoin then you should provide yourself an offline wallet and that will give you a good assurance that you are safe for long term safeness of your bitcoin because right now,as the price of bitcoin is keep going up, the hackers are getting more attractive to bitcoin and that is the cause of having more proneness for getting hacked.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Is Really A Good Investment or Not? on: November 28, 2017, 12:07:05 AM
ICOs are extremely difficult to evaluate, especially if you have no experience with investments. Using a small amount of money to "gamble" is fine since it could just work out and has much better chances than playing the lottery or a casino. But it would be an extremely bad idea for someone with no serious experience to put a large amount of money into ICOs.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: November 27, 2017, 11:38:59 PM
I'm dividing my salary to the needs of my family especially my house.I want to fixed it little by little. As I go for compaigns, now Im expecting for my salary to the needs of my salary for my house and to stablish my own business to have a fix income of my hushband.Maybe I will steady at bitcoin because through this I can reach my goal to have a better life. And I think not just better but a rich life. That one of this days I can do all my plans in the future to reach all who needs to be save spiritually until where I could reach the budget.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: November 27, 2017, 11:33:24 PM
My trading strategies is set up an order in the price that I think I can get a enough profit. But it depends on the situation, if I need a money I trade it to actual price because I have no choice. But I sell the equal value of token that I need, the rest was in the open order.

Then it is obvious that the right time to sell is the high price but we can't predict on what time is that, so that instead of spending a time in guarding the price, I read the ICO price, choose a best coins exchanger and set my orders.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: November 27, 2017, 10:53:29 PM
I also bought altcoins a few days ago when bitcoin price dropped by hoping to get profit because usually altcoin price will rise when bitcoin price goes down, but unfortunately I am mistaken, altcoin price that I bought actually dropped drastically and bitcoin price even up again, and I will lose if I sell it, so I have to hold it until the price rise up.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC be blocked by government ? on: November 27, 2017, 10:32:57 PM
It is so impossible for the government to block bitcoin because they need to communicate with other countries government. Maybe they can ban bitcoin, but they can never block it fully or completely because there are a lot of people who will oppose it and worst, will do some rallies against the government if that would definitely happen.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: November 27, 2017, 10:16:21 PM
I think that you are not seeing the bigger picture here. You think that bitcoin is popular just because you are in this forum. This is what you see and maybe your friends are also using bitcoin. But at the end of the day, there are millions of Amazon users, eBay users, and all the other famous online shopping sites out there and they all use Paypal. Paypal is still the leading payment method and people have already become confident using it. Bitcoin is a little too advanced for the mainstream people today.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: November 27, 2017, 12:24:11 AM
I don't think so, cryptocurrency and fiat money have their respective advantages and disadvantages, on the one hand cryptocurrency is better than fiat money but on the other side fiat money is better than bitcoin. For example if we want to buy daily necessities fiat money is a good choice, but if we want to do digital transactions in bulk, bitcoin is the right choice because of low fee.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: November 27, 2017, 12:11:59 AM
There are so many people who are having a lot of money by imply investing in bitcoin. There is no way that one can deny the worth and value of bitcoin. Most of the people are getting rich and are still making a lot of money by doing investment in bitcoin. Bitcoin is indeed a very profitable thing and is making so many people very much rich.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: November 26, 2017, 11:52:59 PM
I think, many factors that cause bitcoin are accepted in many countries. one of them is with the many bitcoin users and bitcoin prices that are so great. but besides, bitcoin can make it easier to make online payment transactions and it is the latest technology in the world and I think it is very safe in the transaction so that the country will receive bitcoin in the hope of improving the state of the economy from now to the future.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: November 26, 2017, 10:47:22 PM
Well you can explain bitcoins with reference to gold or diamond or any valuable stones, like how we buy such valuable stones at a certain price and later trade as per the fluctuation. If prices fall we wait or ay be cash out if necessary, and if prices rise we gain profit by selling/en-cashing them or may be keeping it for future and trading when prices go up higher. Bitcoins arent very difficult to understand, its just that children or for that matter even elderly's dont come across bitcoins or cryptocurrency in general in the first place. Hope that helps.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: November 26, 2017, 08:49:59 PM
There more chances of hacking if you are storing your bitcoins in online wallets and exchanges always keep in mind not to store your bitcoins on exchanges as there are more chances for you to loose bitcoins, not all wallets can be hacked, paper wallets, hardware wallets,USB wallets and Trezor are the safest wallets available in the crypto market. For buying and selling of bitcoins you need to use good reputed exchanges or else you might loose your bitcoins. Hackers can hack anything be it bitcoin wallets or the normal banking system when hackers attack banks the bankers will not be able to do anything, they might loose their customers trust and databases. To keep your bitcoins safe you need to store your bitcoins in cold storage's like USB devices, paper wallets and hardware wallets.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loss almost 40%, should stop trading or not ? on: November 25, 2017, 02:15:07 AM
Learn from your loses but always set a limitation, losing 40% is quite low, some even lose 100% of their capital
and still get back to apply what they have learn. The risk is always there, you can minimize it if you educate yourself and learn from
your mistakes every time you make one, always develop and develop, it's a long journey.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Zcash? on: November 25, 2017, 02:11:21 AM
Bitcoin and open blockchain's  invention is changing the world of finances. It wasn't possible to transfer (millions of USD worth) value internationally without any trusted party and ID verifications. With bitcoin it became possible. Right now, for almost free and within several minutes. Technology is changing the rules and states will be forced to correct the law to fit new reality. Otherwise there is a high risk of increasing the gap between governance and real economy. Free exchange is the natural people's right, temporarily seized by fraudulent banking mafia.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SophiaTX Announcement - The Blockchain for Business on: November 25, 2017, 02:05:00 AM
SophiaTX will hold a Token Generation Event (TGE) later this year where the general public can be the first to obtain the SPHTX token before its release on any major exchanges. It is a chance for supporters of the project to be directly involved. The token will be used in the marketplace for a wide range of engagements.

i think this is best opportunity for investors and everyone should join this project.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: November 25, 2017, 02:01:12 AM
If you don't want to take the risk of price fluctuation and stuff, then might as well leave bitcoins. Bitcoins is volatile and it always will be volatile. I think the actual reason why you're doing all of these is, ultimately, you're afraid that you're going to get hacked so you just either withdraw your funds or scatter them elsewhere. I suggest that you study how to use cold wallet. Holding bitcoin for a long time is far much better than investing to some investment site. Only withdraw what you need for your daily expenses.
