Hi Bit Bot ... checking out your service. Website is a little unclear and I'm traveling now so not immediately able to fully test ... but I'll be able in a few days. Questions:

You can pay to a HK bank account? Website appears to suggest you only pay in AUD? Is that accurate?

You also pay to Paypal accounts? My paypal account is US and charges +3.9% for receiving international payments ... you would be making an 'international payment' in AUD to my Paypal account?

I got lots of BTC to sell ... trying to figure out what makes sense ...

Sorry for the tardy reply Indamuch, been travelling myself.

You can actually select which currency for the HK deposits on the system. As for PayPal, yes we send an international payment to you as long as you're not US based. You pay the PayPal fees. I believe its 3.9% plus 0.3 USD per $100 or something similar to this.

Warm regards

PS we deal a lot with Hong Kong based customers with 100% success and happiness (check our reviews on Facebook - "Itty Bitty Exchange" is our group)

trading out of Hong Kong but with local presences in Australia, New Zealand, Bali, Israel, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Bolivia and most of the EU

So what does "presences in.." mean? Local banks and not people? And why not just buy your 50BTC on the existing exchanges?

Hey Haploid23, means we've enquired with our legal team if we are considered merchants or currency traders in that jurisdiction. We take the local laws very seriously. Right now, we have applications in for some of the larger jurisdictions that will be fulfilled by 11/12/13 but we choose not to make the same mistakes that some of the other larger players have made (getting fined for each transaction in the USA for example)

Our legal team has been keeping a close watch on the legal goings on worldwide and we adhere to their recommendations absolutely.

PS we can buy from existing exchanges but seeing as we are an exchange why would we give a competitor any advantage that wasn't considered beforehand?

PS to all those that have contacted us, sincerely thank you. Our preference is local clients where we do not have to travel and incur costs for our shareholders.

Warm regards

BitBot

I brought this up with our developers - they say they open and close the firewall all the time as they need some of those ports to work on the server. Your port scan was done during one of those periods.  It was our second week of trading and adjustments are being done all the time. Thank for the heads up though.

Windows Sever 2008 - how are you coming to this conclusion?

Also, we don't have any wallet functionality until 11/12/13, so not need to worry.

I wouldn't trust it. That dotnetnuke platform has suffered exploits in the past. This one probably has some too.

Plenty of positive reviews on FB page, from long standing FB members. Look us up "Itty Bitty Exchange". We've been marketing to the up and coming mainstream market, not so much here.

As for exploits, we've had vulnerability audits performed by some of the best testers in the industry. If you can get get coin out of us, you would deserve it.

Furthermore, we're not using any online wallet for the instant exchange - you deposit BTC into our BTC wallet, we pay you in fiat (sell orders) or for buy orders you put cash into one of our bank accounts and we pay you in coin. Usually within 4 hours.

We also encourage people to keep their BTC in their own wallets, on their own PC or device. Encrypted.

I see a lot of accusations of potential foul play.

I see no-one saying they've been ripped off and there's plenty of people who have used us and are happy.

If you're here to spread FUD, then go to another thread until you've got something positive to add to the conversation. I'm staggered by the amount of cynical naysayers, all of whom seem to have some type of vested self interest in others failing.

Visit our Facebook page. Chat to the mainstream users, all of whom are delighted with our service.

Get onto the page and message randoms and ask them? It will become self evident from their responses that we haven't bought any likes and they are organic.

Or just read all the reviews? There's too many from too long established Facebook users to be a scam.

The only negative one we've had was were someone left a 0/5 by accident despite leaving positive words. We've tried to contact her but haven't had a response yet.

We are currently running a 50% off fees promotion on our Facebook page. Please PM me for a code!

Right. Ignores the relevant questions, makes various vague assurances about "our research" and "our team", and stuffs in calls to action aimed at noobs.

You're officially in scammer territory. Get lost.

I've already responded but it appears the answers weren't read or ignored.

Let me re-iterate: I will discuss with the board at our next meeting what has been asked. If they vote to disclose, then we will.

No point responding to trolls. They've made up their mind. Nasty, rude and clearly one of them is a scammer accusing us of being scammers? Making statements about our marketing person without even knowing anything about them short of a few posts on a forum? Then tell us who you say.. Once again, I'm not in a position to share yet.

Good for them. No matter, we are already getting excellent business that far surpasses our expectations.

Anyone else, you are most welcome to use our service. You will find that we are not scammers. But I do encourage to judge for yourself.

Regards

BitBot

What does it matter who is asking the questions? I have been burned in the past, so now I am a bit skeptical of anonymous people who want to collect all our money.
User   Date   Risked BTC amount   Reference   Comments
Chaang Noi (Goat) ช้างน้อย 9: -0 / +17(17)   2013-08-15   1.00000000   Reference   Lost and or scammed a lot of BTC from the community. I would not trust this guy with my funds again.
Yes it does.

Very interesting.

We are in no way shape or form associated with inputs.io.

As far as verification, we are happy to build our reputation slowly and reliably. If the board elect to share information about themselves then we shall do so.

In the interim,

If you choose to do business with us, you wont be disappointed.

If you choose not to, you might be.

Who are you?

Why should we trust you to hold our money?

Are the other posters in this thread your sock-puppets?

Why is there no contact information on your website?

Who is this "we" you keep mentioning on your website? Is this run by a team of people or just one guy hiding in his parents' basement?

Are you in the WoT?

How do we know your website is secure?

Do you have money-transmitting licenses from the governments of the areas in which you operate?

Who ARE you???

These are fair questions. I will go back to our board and ask them what information we can divulge.

In the interim, I can tell you this so far: We are funded by some private high profile investors in Australia.

There was extensive business planning performed from SWOT to exit strategy. Our risk assessment analysis was quite detailed.

During the planning stage, we engaged international taxation lawyers and corporate advisors in each of the jurisdictions we were assessing for potential trade. Part of our due diligence process involved officially contacting the relevant government bodies in each country we are operating in, outlining our business plan to them and asking what  their stance was on licensing. Some countries treat us simply as merchants. Others require licensing or at least an application to be lodged. Others like the USA are more stringent.

This is why we have rolled out in some countries but not in others. We are timing our spot type exchange release for around the time periods these licenses manifest. Or at least, the majority of them.

Our board possesses a great deal of commercial experience. There is a lawyer, an accountant, a very high profile marketing guru and all of the major shareholders own highly successful businesses.

As for WoT, we did not feel it relevant to our size of business however we recognize its importance to smaller traders. Our market research has indicated that the average person will not use WoT.

One of our major goals is to bring BTC to the masses. Our marketing campaign will reflect that. Believe me when I say that our branding is going to be prominent in the mainstream market's collective mind when thinking of BTC and virtual currency.

Our reputation will become self evident quite quickly. We wont let you down and know that to do so will have far reaching ramifications for us.

We recognize the importance of looking after all of you and will do so to the best of our ability.

We will be joining the BitCoin foundation this week.

I welcome all of your questions and will answer them where I feel we are not offering anything commercial in confidence or giving a competitor an advantage.

ITTY BITTY EXCHANGE – THE FUTURE IN INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL CURRENCY TRADING

www.ittybittyexchange.com

Introducing a new, truly international exchange trading out of Hong Kong but with local presences in Australia, New Zealand, Bali, Israel, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Vietnam, Bolivia and most of the European Union.

THE INSTANT EXCHANGE

On 11/11/13 we will launch the fixed price exchange component of Itty Bitty.  (7.5% to buy BitCoin, 2.9% to sell BitCoin) You will be able to anonymously purchase virtual currency using your local fiat currency in major banks throughout your country. Initially only BitCoin but with other virtual currencies like LiteCoin being added later. In this first month, only Australia, Hong Kong and New Zealand will be active for trading.

We should even be able to service the USA (You buying BitCoin) once we've obtained the relevant state licenses.

If you are selling us virtual currency, we can pay you via telegraphic transfer or by PayPal. Usually you will get your funds within 4 business hours, Australian EST. No longer than 24 hours.

If you are buying virtual currency, we will usually send you coin within 4 hours. No longer than 24 hours.

THE SPOT EXCHANGE

On 11/12/13 we are launching Itty Bitty stage 2 -  a full multi fiat / multi virtual currency spot exchange. Buy the cryptocurrency of your choice using whatever fiat currency you choose. Sell it too.

Depending on your location, you will need to provide identification.

Rates are 0.5% initially.

After doing business with us for 3 months and providing ID, you will become verified and the ability to send us electronic bank transfers (such as telegraphic transfers)  will unlock. We figure by then you are the genuine account holder and there wont be any charge backs. Until you are verified, deposits need to be done in a bank.

MONEY TRANSMISSION

Just like PayPal and similar to Western Union, you will be able to send funds (including cryptocurrency) direct to an email address of your choice. If the recipient doesn’t have an account with us, they will be invited to sign up. Fees are 1.5%. Half of PayPal’s.

Get enough sign ups and we’ll give you significant discounts on trades. Or even free trades.

BUY GOLD!

You can buy gold with whatever currency you choose and we will ship it to you. Anywhere in the world. Insured. Quickly. Competitively.  We’ve partnered with the largest online gold seller in Australia (Gold Stackers) to facilitate this.

Fully implemented KYC and AML policies protect you and protect us. All relevant financial licenses have been obtained in each of the countries we trade in and we intend to keep them.

Unlike other exchanges, we get your funds to you quickly. We answer our emails and if we screw something up, we fix it and wont make you wear the cost like some. We wont let you down.

Thanks for taking the time to read our announcement. See you in cyberspace!
