Introduction
DD0x is a currently developed decentralized bandwidth platform. Users all over the world will be able to contribute their network power from their
computers to form a huge decentralized network. DD0x coins will be used to rent network power and hosts will receive them for their bandwidth contribution.
A smart contract on the blockchain ensures that hosts are only paid if their connection is fully established during the time it is being rented.
The distributed nature of the DD0x network enables a huge potential in throughput, security and privacy.
The decentralized nature of the DD0x network enables anyone with a internet connection to get paid, reducing the barrier to entry and
lowering the price of rented bandwidth power.
Technology
DD0x is based on a proof of work blockchain. Smart Contracts on the blockchain will be used for secure operations between hosts and renters.
DD0x’s hashing algorithm is Blake2
As security & privacy is top priority of DD0x, no information except the total bandwidth power will be exposed to renters and hosts.
DD0x Currency
DD0x is the name of the cryptocurrency being used. We will mine the first 1,000,000 coins before releasing
the code & miner to the public.
The block time is 2.5 minutes. Each DD0x is composed of 10^24 indivisible units.
With block reward that is currently being tested the max. inflation rate should never exceed 5% annually.
The features of DD0x can only be accessed by using the DD0x coins. This requirement means that as DD0x grows in usage, the demand for the DD0x coin will increase swell.
As demand grows, the price will increase and this is the interesting point for investors.
Who we are
Our team currently consists of 5 people.
4 developers and 1 Marketing guy.
Every developer in our team is a studied computer scientists or is currently studying computer science.
More information and names will be released on the website which will be finished when this thread is about 2 weeks old.
Distribution
50% of our pre-mined DD0x coins will be given to early donators and investors, the other half will be stored for future funding of the project.
The amount of coins you will receive depends on your donation amount and the total donations -> your donation/all donations * 500,000
Donators will be noted in a public database and will for ever have place in the donation and early investor section of our website and our heart.
Disclaimer: We can never guarantee that the DD0x coins will be worth anything or will go up in price, it is of course in our interested that this happens and we will be working as hard as we can but still, a donation should be treated as such.
