1  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the end for bitcoins ? on: January 06, 2018, 03:31:16 PM
Bitcoin will die one day, but that day will not come soon. I do not believe that we should leave bitcoin world any time soon. I believe that is just propaganda from people who wish do diminish bitcoin and its influence, because bitcoin belongs to no one and it is hard to control. Bitcoin threatens all other currencies out there, and that many powerful countries out there don't like. As long as people are interested in bitcoin and what it has to offer, bitcoin will not die.

What you should do first is decide which coin you would like dealing with, and than learn everything you can about it. Knowledge is power, so by knowing a lot about thing you are involved with you can mostly predict what is going to happen. That way almost nothing can surprise you. Most of the things you can find here on forum, so stick around and invest some time in reading.
And about buying and selling crypto-currency i suggest that you use only legit (safe) and well known sites for trading. That way you will minimize possibility of scam and losing money.
Wish you all the best in the future.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: January 04, 2018, 03:52:37 PM
Because of fees that are so high for transaction of bitcoin, many people are looking for alternative. Ethereum is one of strongest altcoin, and from my point of view a good choice as an alternative for bitcoin. I guess that other people see that, and that is why price is going up, because people are buying it more and more.

Hello guys. I just joined this forum and i was wondering... Which walled is best? Can you recommend me some, and tell me your opinion and why you think it is best choice?

Depends on your usecase...

Do you want to buy and HODL, i'd suggest a properly generated paper wallet or a hardware wallet

Do you want to buy a lot of BTC, but use them for day-to-day transactions, i'd suggest a hardware wallet like the ledger or trezor

Do you want to start using BTC, but won't invest a lot of fiat into crypto, you can go for a decent desktop wallet, like bitcoin core or electrum. Core is a bit safer (since you verify all blocks and transactions yourself), but it requires a lot of diskspace and sync time. Electrum is an SPV wallet, it requires very little hardware requirements and only takes a couple of seconds/minutes to sync.

Do you want to get robbed? Go for an online wallet or an exchange... In the longrun, that's your best option to lose everything.

I was thinking in doing some trading and holding. maybe one day if i join some signature campaign i could use it for that too. I have seen that forum have option for Bitcoin core. So you think it would be best if i use Core... Ok i will go and check it out, it sounds like good choice for anything. Thanks for fast answer.

Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring.
Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?

Is it too late to invest?
Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?
It is for certain that one day Bitcoin will die, nothing last forever. When that happen it will be replaced by some other crypto, unless some other kind of currency is developed that is better than crypto.
It is not to late to invest into Bitcoin. Bitcoin will die one day, but that will not happen soon. So there is still time to make some money.
