1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / ICO - when to take profit? on: May 15, 2018, 05:22:51 PM
I’ve been in the Crypto market for sometime and have been successfully trading/Swinging. However, back in February for the first time I participated in an ICO.

The coin has been listed this month on four unpopular of exchanges: IDEX, HitBTC, Stocks.Exchange and SistemKoin where the price is already 300% of the ICO price in a week time.

I’m not in need to cash out, but I’m talking strategy here. And I’m seeking advice from the ICO experts here:
1) clearly it was a successful ICO, for a start. But how high do you wait the price to go before cashing out?
2) is it wise to wait first for it to hit more popular exchanges like Poloniex, KuCoin, Cryptopia... etc before cashing out?

In other words, is your trigger associated with price, exchange or timeframe?

Thank you in advance.

This does not help for coins in "Processing" state. They are locked up.

No dear, it doesn’t. As I said I’m stuck with PROC under processing for days now.

But at least I rescued the chunk of my money out. And anybody can using BTC to exit.

Gentlemen after my last post I panicked and liquidated all my coins into BTC withdrawing all from Cryptopia to Binanace.

The withdrawal went smooth and was confirmed by Binance in few minutes.

I still have a pending withdrawal in PROC for days. So I guess it works in BTC and I confirm so.

Thinking about it further, if they were really not able to catch up with withdrawals and deposits then why accept new registrations and add new coins?

Can someone give me some instruction on how to withdraw my GBYTES from there? It says wallet paused  Huh

Convert to BTC, withdraw BTC to another exchange then buy GBYTES there again.

Kevin Harrington proc update:  https://twitter.com/HarringtonKevin/status/964512955692929024

Kevin is the only reason I bought back into proc. He is a master at marketing and obviously extremely successful in all his business ventures. Load up all you can because when he starts pushing proc on mainstream media this will skyrocket. Whether proc is successful in the long run nobody knows but I can guarantee you there will be a massive increase in price and what you decide to do then is up to you.

The market responded to their dateless roadmap and flushed PROC -26%.

Kevin has dogs and cows in his businesses. I doubt PROC is a cow. My PROC are stuck in cyber space, and I won’t sell soon considering the huge loss. But I have faith in PROC as much as I have in BitConnect. The later is a scam, and the first is managed by idiots.

Maybe you are right but can you be a little respectful ?
They didn't ask you to buy Procurrency.
Insulting the devs will not change anything.

I have no respect to he who has no respect for people’s intelligence. Check his unprofessional excuse:

Mate you're the unprofessional one here. If I was a exec in a company and I had people being so disrespectful to me I wouldn't be too keen on even giving my time to write you a reply. If you currently have PROC and want it to increase in price, instead of being rude to him, perhaps be supportive to the team?

If you don't like his reply, then sell your coins and invest somewhere else. I personally don't mind that there's no dates (assuming if they reach those goals this year). When they do release that news, the price will pump in a very healthy way rather than pumping up to the 'date'  and then falling  on the news.

Ok noob, I’m disrespectful... true, I already stated I have no respect to he who has no respect to people’s intelligence. Unprofessional, you’re totally wrong. I’m criticizing them based on their unprofessionalism. And the market agreed with me plunging their coin further. What held it up is Kevin’s next day announcement. And I believe his name is what’s keeping it from getting to zero.

I have a large portfolio into different coins. I hold a large four figures amount in PROC still for two reasons:
1) held into cyber space in a pending withdrawal by Cryptopia.
2) I’m in loss with PROC.

As a shareholder I have the right to speak my mind. Am I willing to scam others to have the coin pump up so I can sell, definitely not. That’d be unethical. I’d rather PROC falls to zero and I lose all my held coins, or have PROC shape up and be up to Kevin’s endorsement where we all profit at our preset exit goals.

You’re entitled to your opinion about PROC, and I’m entitled to mine. And I expect the market reaction taught them a lesson. Let’s wait for their coming announcement and see.

I hope this links helps you guys who have withdrawals in processing stage, as a ticket turned to be needed.

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Forum/Thread/7892

PS It didn’t help in my case yet.

They deleted now all the complaints in their forum. Way to go, Cryptopia, you become more trustworthy every day! Don't talk about it and stick your head into the sand as if nothing had happened!  Angry

It’s all over the internet and social media. I don’t see them escaping their ruined reputation unless they really step up their game. I even read customers in NZ filing official complaints against Cryptopia. It seems it’s getting serious.

Anyone knows what is going on with price??? Where is the bottom?
I thought after a news and activity from dev, especially about masternode, price will rice, but still dropping.

A roadmap with no target dates is a major disappointment proving how unprofessional the team behind it. You can find my dispute with their dumb management on their Twitter. I doubt they finished high school to release such meaningless roadmap.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PROC]---ProCurrency---| Pro Rewards |Wallets Released~ on: February 15, 2018, 11:22:27 AM
I’m glad to find people discussing PROC still. Therefore allow me join with my story:

Never heard of PROC before Kevin got associated with it. So I jumped onboard, honestly then and still I didn’t see the coin has a future. But the name of Kevin Harrington got me to doubt myself.

Loaded pretty much PROC, not that I can’t live without if it turned to be a failure. However, in my portfolio it’s the worst performing coin to date. I think it’s -60% or so. But I bought for long term, so I wasn’t dwelling.

Yesterday I attempted to withdraw my PROC from Cryptopia, still stuck under processing. So I checked the coin settings and read 53 connections and 278811 block height. Don’t know what this translates to but as per Cryptopia forum the delay has to do with lack of miners.

Didn’t sweat over it and moved on.

To my disappointment I saw the announcement of their Roadmap today and that’s when I lost it. There’re no dates set for any of the phases. If the team was professional or had any respect to their audience, they wouldn’t make such meaningless announcement.

Feel free to correct me where I’m wrong. Thank you in advance.
13  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia turning into a scam? on: February 15, 2018, 09:34:14 AM
Just a guess, could it be that the problem is only related to penny coins that requires many connections but has no sufficient miners?

Could it be that if one withdraws in BTC, ETH, LTC... etc. there’d be no withdrawal issues?

PS I have PROC withdrawal stuck in processing. And I have chunks of XEM and MAID kept put in the Cryptopia exchange in fear of withdrawal issues.
14  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia turning into a scam? on: February 15, 2018, 06:35:39 AM
It does not look good...

EDIT: yep I can confirm I could withdraw BTC at least. phew, it might be all fud

Can you kindly confirm again:
1) you’ve successfully withdrawn BTC from Cryptopia?
2) when?
3) how long it took?

I have big sum of different coins stuck there. But I have no problem liquidating all to BTC to exit this exchange once and for all.

Thank you in advance.

ENLIGHTEN ME please

How could Dorado be in business for years, incorporated in Switzerland and across six countries (one of which is Iran that bans drones), yet the domain name was purchased on Jan 15th, 2018?!!!

I don’t know how to upload screen shots here, maybe I don’t have the privilege yet.

As for FoodOutGroup, it’s registered on Feb 19, 2017 with thousands of restaurants, yet only three listed as customer feedback.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: January 31, 2018, 07:41:29 AM
Week with great news in iota , when wallet stable , its the greatest project in cryptocurrencies

I got onboard just yesterday. And I’m learning much about IOTA still. What drove me to it was mainly this article regarding BOSCH, Volkswagen, Orange and Samsung:
https://ethereumworldnews.com/iota-recommended-long-term-investment

However,
1) to my surprise I paid the price of what IOTA was worth one month ago. In other words, IOTA missed the big wave that took place end of 2017. It just had a small jump in price then got back to where it was, contrary to reputed AltCoins trend.
2) Add to that looking back in history, I see the price made very little improvement since its launch.
3) I found comments from disappointed ex-supporters in IOTA.
4) Add to that negative recent reviews on social media about the team behind IOTA not being able to deliver, and the system isn’t working for those who tested it; i.e. I refer here to M.I.T.

Can someone enlighten me if I’m missing something, or am I just lucky to get onboard at this price/time?

Thank you in advance.

Haha so much plays in so many different ways. When new money is coming I'm not afraid.I use to read what Bloomberg say and other ''big'' players in their own world, but not anymore. We are creating our world with crypto. Yes money from ''big'' players are inside crypto too, but I think that they can't control it in the way they would like it.

The audit firm quit two days ago, the government now is in the picture. That’s not to be taken lightly.

The governements had a big hand this month all over the world on exchanges and Fiat. And BTC prices speak volumes along with blooded AltCoins.

Still waiting some good news about PROC. Angry

Two coins currently crippling my portfolio; CND & PROC. Not sure why both are nose down over the past three days. And I’m praying for fundamental news to rescue them.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cindicator (CND) 100x coin on: January 28, 2018, 07:29:10 PM
There are no doubts: it is a good project, but I think that an increase of x100 is very difficult.
IHMO I agree with the vision of Palm Beach Group, they predict a price of 5$: http://docdro.id/1yULwYE

Thank you and to the OP for sharing the links. I’m heavily invested in CND.

I’m amazed by the analysis posted on this page. There’re a handful of posts that demonstrated theories about PROC and went at length investigating, analyzing, criticizing, advising... etc. to the conclusion that PROC is a scam.

And I’m all ears, clearly the posts above have valid points to be looked at. Yet, the only thing that strikes me is that the referred posts above are all from new registered users. It’s like their one and only purpose to register at this forum is to bash PROC, or open our eyes one could say.

Hmm...
