Totally agree. There should be at least a working prototype with some user base. Plus, now the US government is looking closely into ICO's that didn't have a ready product and sold their tokens. Tezos is being sued for instance.

Bitcoin has been here for quite a while. It has a great community support, it's surely more known than other cryptocurrencies. So when I tried to decide where to invest, bitcoin was my first choice.

This is already huge, since so many publicailtions wrote about it, and the community is duscussing so actively.
