This is great. Thanks for this conversation. @Kakmakr @JWKY see below.

Taxes
  • Yes, there will be capital gains on any exchange trade for US currency. We will mine into our own private exchange wallet powered by Bisq.
  • Using Bisq, every transaction will occur on an entirely private exchange using peers willing to transact in the sums we disclose.
  • WE will pay taxes. Although we don't subscribe to the current administration's narcissistic dysfunctions, we will honor the infrastructure of our government and it's systems of revenue bound by revenue laws.

Climate/Location
  • There are hot deserts. There are cold deserts. There are microclimates in the West that provide stable temps year round with low humidity to protect the components.
  • We are clever enough to tap into quantitative methods for securities transactions. Similarly, we will regularly study the historic almanac for the locations we choose and prospect.
  • We can implement the installation on movable racks. So if we have to, we can tear down and relocate to even better locations over the long run.
  • A colder location at elevation is preferred because we can ventilate and cool the systems with ambient air.

@OgNasty - Have you seen the ASIC miners from Canaan? Where are you located? If I had to guess, San Diego. I took a look at all your resources. You are on a good path with this. After registration, I wonder how to mint a seat? Let's be in touch, mind if we take the convo to PM?

To build a sustainable mining operation based on the solar system you need more than $100K, right? it's better if you can collect $1 Million to start this project, don't you want to launch an ICO after finding some business partners?
That's what you would think, BUT I do not think this way. I think we could get off the ground with a few miners in a smaller space. I don't think we will compete well on the global market until we reach at least 60 machines at $1400 - $1700 USD each (~$100K), but we can start with as little as 1/4 of that and see a sizeable cash flow while we continue to acquire the next set of ASICs.

We also want the cash flow to bring returns on investment, so that the investors have access to liquid assets while we expand. It's all a factor of our needs and abilities to optimize our growth functions.

About me
Hi, I'm a software/hardware expert with over a decade of engineering experience in top-tier startup. I currently work for a global electronics and manufacturing corporation by day. By night, I write advanced methods in Technical Analysis of timeseries data (at the moment).  My CV and profile available by private message.

The Premise
  • We can build and operate a sustainable growing mining operation using low-cost real estate and natural energy resources to offset the cost of mining cryptocurrencies.

Strategic Vision
  • We will begin with a handful of ASIC miners (7+ TH/s each) inside of a warehouse property at elevation in an arid/desert climate in the Western US.
  • Our profits will be primarily invested in more ASICs while we divert a portion into savings for Solar and Wind energy systems.
  • These energy systems will fuel battery technologies used to offset energy costs during peak periods in energy expense (daytime) and prevent outages in the event of power failure.
  • We will continue to expand until we reach a price equilibrium that results in the maximization of energy efficiency for hash generation.
  • We will expand to other locations and offer our mining services to the global backbone.

Purpose
  • We wish to offset mining in foreign markets with our own.
  • We want to usher in a more responsible use of energy for mining.
  • We want to learn and develop cryptocurrency marketplace in the US
  • We want to develop a sustainable business while creating a profit for those involved in the project after expenses.

Anyone interested should please message me directly and attach a copy of your resume/CV and cover letter explaining why you want to participate in this undertaking and how you intend to contribute to its success.

Thank you.
