1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: April 12, 2018, 05:02:40 PM
Guys I've been ignoring my rig lately just letting it chug away in the garage, awesome miner has been very stable however just taking a look at actual payout vs the predicted payout for MHP and ZergPool it is way off. I'm probably ending up with <50% of predicted earnings which seems substantial even taking into account exchange rates etc.

Given this is happening on two separate pools is there anything daft I need to start with in Awesome miner?  I have a 7 x 1060 6gb rig benchmarked every two weeks set to profit switch every 10 mins between MPG and Zergpool with 1% difference.

Understand its difficult times mining but want to make sure the configuration is optimal and predictions as accurate as they can be.

many thanks

Hi

Is there an issue with Zpool and X14 today? my profit switching rigs  switched to it about an hour ago (awesome miner) and it reports ridiculous predicted profit but no earnings at all on the wallet page  on Zpool? i disabled it and other coins working as normal so not sure its a problem with Awesomeminer?

Many thanks

Quick question guys, trying to troubleshoot an issue with hashrefinery its reporting a ridiculous profit in awesome miner for nist5 (£1300 a month) and its throwing the profit switching for my 6GPU rig I wish it was right!

Any ideas where I can start to troubleshoot this? all other Algos look as expected. I have benchmarked and also tried saving the hash rate but still its obsessed with this algorithm.

Many thanks

Hi All

Currently trying to troubleshoot my rig which has become unstable (windows just locking), I noticed in the AM logs this error, whilst I doubt its causing my problems any pointers as to the issue?

Hi

I need to implement some rules to handles scenarios when the pools start playing up. I have had two occasions over the last 24hrs where AM stopped mining due to too many attempts to restart which look like it was down to the miner having problems connecting to the pool.

I run Profit switching against Ahash and Zpool and would like to have a rule where if AM hits trouble trying to mine it moves onto the next most profitable coin after so many attempts.

I have had a quick look an cant see any obvious way in the rules interface to invoke this when on profit switching. Am I missing something? is there any online help with writing rules? I had a quick google and couldn't see what I needed.

I have AM Standard Edition.

Many thanks in Advance.

Guys a quick question, my GPUs have an indicated Activity level of between 4% and 10% each in AM. Is this as it should be? had a quick search but couldn't see any obvious threads on the subject. Example; right now I have 5x GTX 1060 6GBs mining NeoScript and AM states 7% Activity and 16% Intensity against each GPU. Any clarification appreciated.

Are you getting the expected hashrate out of your 1060s considering the algorithm and over/underclocks you are running?  If so, then it may be that AM isn't able to read the activity of those cards well.  I've seen this on HWInfo as well.

Thanks for responding, Yes I believe the hash rates are about where they should be. Ill keep an eye on it.

Hi All

New to mining and been using Awesome Miner for nearly a week and I really like it. I have it set for profit switching against Zpool and MPH so at times I see it switching between the two pools every half hour. Is this the best way to set up Awesome miner for profit switching? I don't want to cause any problems for the pools or other miners, is it better to just stick with one?

Also, the software has been stable until today when I added a 5th GPU where I have now had "interface offline" messages a couple of times. I stopped and started the miner and it worked again is there anything in the software i need to be aware of or tweak for stability? The rig has all GTX1060 6GB's, overclocking is applied through Afterburner.

Many thanks
