Please keep posting, Great build and pics.

For cooling just basically have a fan and open windows. When summer hits have a portable room a/c - swamp cooler unit I'll set up. Thank God for solar.

Any other ideas are appreciated.

Cakeonit, Love your narrative. Know exactly what you went through.

Was the power supply the only change to get it staying on? I'm having the same problem with a 700 and just like with you crickets for answers.   I'll try it.

Kuschelweich, do you only fix the cooling system?  Feel free to pm me

that is what i am getting. Just looks like it overheats. Fans are working and feels like the water is pumping around.

Stupid question,  do you have a separate fan blowing on them? I used a floor fan and it made a big difference. Test the direction to be sure you're not blowing the hot air back into them. If you find another solution please post it.

Kind of like "turning off" the tv in the old days. Can be a good thing if it's not your livelihood

Understand the reason but how annoying.. once is enough, it's not like they don't have our ips once you've signed up

Trying to get my 2 monarchs to work.

The admins keep deleting my posts and not sure if my pm's are going through.

Thanks Ed for the bfg link. Need to reinstall.

Does the code for the cfminer coding transfer 100% to bfgminer?

Does awesome miner work with monarch BFl 700? In order To do cryptomining auto switching

I got my two 500ghs monarchs running off the BFG 4.2 provided in this thread but only pulling 280 watts at 350 ghs. My 700 ghs keeps erroring out with the 4.2 bfgminer

When you say erroring out do you mean the "sanity check" or it stops?

Mine did a lot of sanity checks then it would warm up and run ok. Kept a fan on it so it wouldn't overheat but made some coin on it...
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 80% OF AVAILABLE BITCOINS ALREADY MINED. NOW WHAT? on: January 18, 2018, 05:02:59 AM
More research,

Saw a really good utube explaining since blockchain mining is just confirmation of transactions, once all the bc is mined or even when the difficulty is too high, the market will charge % transaction fees, some pools are basically doing that now. So as long as the transactions need verifying there will be money.

From all the vids I've seen when they fail they just don't work, nothing goes on. Never looked like they overheated fail, just didn't start. (Good question)

The system won't let me pm you for probably  3 more hours or another day. Didn't want to leave you hanging

Yes using 4.2 bfgmining. No no overheating that i can tell.

I don't understand how to reduce hash rate. Happy to do it if you can walk me through

Thanks!
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I buy or mine Bitcoin? on: January 16, 2018, 01:27:05 AM
I agree with those who say mining because it gives you a better understanding. Also it requires research so you might see bitcoin is one option among lots of other coins
