1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: March 01, 2018, 11:51:57 AM
Hi!, Does anyone know why the date of operations is 01/05/2018???.

Regards.

Because it is the same day that CoinsMarkets database started having "troubles".
Coincidence? I do not think so.

There was never any "troubles" at all with the database from the beginning.
No additional servers ordered, no "fixing of database", no "load balancing issues", no nothing.

Because from the beginning the database never had any "troubles", and there was never any intention to "fix" anything.

The only intention was to buy time for their exit scam, which kept getting interfered due to people calling the hosting provider, who in turn locked the domain.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 [ANN] ColossusCoinXT COLX - Coin Swap - Fair Launch, no ICO/ IPO! 🚀 Released on: February 27, 2018, 01:03:36 AM
I hear various people talking about coinsmarkets letting people withdraw coins one at a time, they started with ECA coin, whatever that is but there is still life in it. Just a matter of time before COLX will be allowed to withdraw I think
Yep thats true. COLX team is working on it, im expecting that we are able to withdraw COLX in the upcoming days.

As far as I am aware of, it was only after ECA developers started to officially file legal action against CM that CoinsMarkets allowed for withdrawals.

So ain't sure if COLX developers also ought to be nasty in the same way so as to ensure that the exchange does not try something questionable again.

Quoting this so that potentially critical information will not get "lost" later.

Eca's staff:
1. Alias: Electra01: eren@gmail.ca (Canada?)
2. Alias: Sols: Real name: Suleyman Omayoglu suro2088@gmail.com  (Australia,Sydney)
3. Alias: Studlysjowell, Real name: Christopher Stud  Email: studlysjowell@gmail.com (Washington, DC)

These guys are actively justifying a 50m$ theft. Claiming they had/have no role. They are also actively promoting an on going scam. Posting this information is a mater of public record.
A warning to all future investors of ECA and the exchanges this coin is traded on. They move Eca from scam exchange to scam exchange, changing a font and some colors. But the exchange backend is the same.

Coinscontrol, Coinsmarkets, coinhouse all have the same result. Deposits are enabled, Withdrawals are only enabled for small amounts. Until they close down exchanges completely leaving traders in the dust. The next scam is Crypto-Bridge.org

My associates and I will continue to drop information about this masternode gang until they take responsibility for their actions. No more karma talk.

To recap so far:

  • Angry customers start digging for links between ECA and CoinsMarkets
  • ECA developers came really close to having personal identities exposed
  • ECA suddenly threatens CoinsMarkets with legal action, despite doing nothing for 2 months
  • Suddenly CoinsMarkets does not have any website or database issues anymore
  • Withdrawals are suddenly enabled for ECA

This is way too coincidental for its own good.

So much so that the people behind CoinsMarkets and ECA are definitely very closely related, or are the same bunch f**ktards running this scam.

And for those who think that CoinsMarkets are really working to fix whatever "issues" they have, read the above list again and digest it.

What about ip address and cm's profile https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=978044
Cant bitcointalk admins track from what ip he was logged? He probably has a dynamic ip or proxy tho.

That is definitely one of the possible leads to work on.

Getting the admins to reveal the information requires that there either be a legal subpoena, or that their asking price to purchase the information be met, or someone who knows them close enough to pull strings.

Using that information, we can then approach the ISP or telco.

Either way, we still need to work on pooling enough resources from the community.

Coinsmarkets.com News section uses US style date format, not European.

Bitcointalk user "coinsmarkets" uses the same spacing around his comma's as it is being used on coinsmarkets.com, user "coinsmarkets" is registered in the US.

People should file a complaint with the head administrator of Bitcointalk, you can contact Theymos at theymos@mm.st

People can also file a complaint with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center at https://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

Please stop throwing any more red herrings.

Tracking down those b**tards is already like searching for a needle in a haystack, so the community needs to focus intensely on leads which has the largest potential impact, instead of shooting bullets everywhere.

Does Binance have a team consisting of only one, mostly absent, senior support, 4 general support, 1 admin, and 1 coder or do you think it's more likely that they have entire sections of people for each field mentioned? Not just that, but every single one of the Binance devs are much more technically proficient than Coinsmarkets' single developer.

Binance also didn't have to deal with any hosting issues...but you know what, thanks for pretty much wasting my time with your trolling comment.

Not only Binance, even Coincheck which got hacked and lost USD$500M on 26 Jan 2018 had managed to recover enough so as to enable withdrawals of Japanese Yen on 13 Feb 2018.

Less than 3 f**king weeks.
Drill that into your thick skull.

Judging from your consistent responses in strongly defending CM, I have every reason to also believe that YOU are either someone from CM, or someone very closely affiliated with their exit scam.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: February 07, 2018, 01:39:03 AM
So.. They're going to move to another host, which is the problem they say they have, and for you that for sure means that it's an exit scam?

I find that when I look at the telegram group, and the chat, it's a lot easier for me to be worried and/or afraid- but when I just go to the website itself and think about what's going on... It just seems more and more likely that they're incompetent, rather than crooks.

I worry that the actions of the community are part of what is causing some of the delay. Please, I urge people not to be too hasty.

Then please be my guest and continue to hope that they are not scammers.

No one will fault you for lacking common sense.

So all the idiots who were accusing me of FUD on the third day of CM going down finally woke up and realized that it is an exit scam.
Even the crappiest crypto exchange does not require more than 24 hours to recover.

Now, going forward there is one clear course of action.

We need to quickly hire a lawyer who operates in the same jurisdiction as whatever registrar that CM is migrating to.
This lawyer shall then be required to issue a subpoena to the registrar as soon as possible.

This will in turn force the registrar to divulge the personal information of the server guy behind CM.
Using that information we need a community member to quickly contact law enforcement in whatever country that server guy resides, and lodge a case against him.

Through this server guy, we can then be able to obtain information on the rest of the CM team.
In the meantime, we need to explore legal ways to confiscate all servers owned by CM such that coins can be returned.

Time is of the essence, as the f**kers behind CM are clearly using the excuse of host migration to throw people off their scent.

Stop talking and start doing something.

I suggest you guys to calm down. they are surely not running away with everyone's money. here on this forum, are a lot lot of high level programmers, hackers etc. if they run they would be tracked/traced and dragged. they know that they have to pay sooner or later. Its not easy to scam in crypto at this level. I was giving you worst case scenario and this is  not going to happen at all, we all are among you and with you.

If CM comes back, then I will gladly delete that post immediately.

At this point of time, that is a huge IF and as such I shall act based on the worse case scenario.

This is the IP address of the CM server:

http://185.66.143.152/

Now there is something solid to use and trace the f**kers.

"Servers overload we are migrating to a new servers , please bear with us. Now configuring.. "

F**king bulls**t!

Had placed an order to buy another $1.3k worth of COLX at $0.010 and now it is already at $0.017416!
Are they going to compensate for the lost opportunity?!

Withdrawing everything out this piece of s**t the moment it goes live.
Rather take my coins elsewhere!
