1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of my salary should I use to gamble on: May 05, 2024, 02:23:01 PM
It sounds like the gambling you're talking about is a form of entertainment. So it should come out of the amount of money you have left after you take out cost of living, by which I mean bills, rent/mortgage and all other liabilities that take precedence over leisure.
I wouldn't worry so much about a specific %, just ensure you don't piss away money that's needed to live comfortably.

2  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 23, 2023, 10:09:34 AM

But how can he take such a risk by wagering $1.4 million just for a net profit of $11,200, which is 8% of the total wage if he had won?

0.8% actually Wink

That's certainly one suspicious bet. If the guy would win that bet, that would most probably be investigated by the bookie's security department.

It's really the opposite. These type of bets are made thousands of times every day, not for this amount of course, but for 100x this amount if you counted up all those bets.
What exactly would they investigate? It's an NFL game, the most unlikely of all games to be rigged.

https://888starz.bet/

A sub-site of 1xbet and a real scumbag of a bookie.

I place a lot of valuebets, of which there are always plenty at this book, because they have no clue on how to set the odds.
After 60 odd bets they were onto me and decided to give me odds way below the normal offer.

The image shows an example of the odds on offer when you go to the site, and then the odds after I login lolz.

No problems, this is pretty standard for crappy books like this outfit. They don't want serious bettors for clientele.

The scummy part is that they wont let me withdraw my deposit because I haven't turned it over once. So they don't want me as a customer, but they do want me to complete the turnover at the criminal odds on offer. Absolutely atrocious.
Customer support is awful as well. you never get any answer to any sort of question, just retarded copy-paste responses that don't address anything you ask about.

4  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Site for Gambling? on: October 18, 2021, 11:13:03 AM

Much better if you will ask that question directly to the site's support. What you will read here is mostly based on people's knowledge. At least by contacting the site support directly, there's an assurance that you will get an accurate response.

This couldn't be further from the truth.
You will never get a straight answer from a site's support if you ask anything in relation to account restrictions. At best they'll refer to their T and C's and sometimes they'll copy past a bunch of crap from those T and C's.
