Fantastic news!

Hats off to the dev team, and Bittrex.

Very exciting- the first fully Post-Quantum Encryption Blockchain on a Major Exchange.

I lurk in about a dozen discord or slack channels.

Sounds fun.

Looking through just two pages of your post history, I see quite a bit of trolling various alt threads.

So, we get it, you don't like this project, and you don't like a bunch of others.

I happen to like QRL, certainly more than anything else with a < $100 million market cap. The mainnet is smooth, the devs are active, the project was the first blockchain to implement peer-reviewed standards-based QC resistant encryption, and I see asymmetrical upside especially at these prices.

NIST will have the world upgrade to QC resistant encryption at some point. Just a matter of time, and I'm happy to leave some capital in this project for 5-10 years, just to secure a black swan bet and a stake in the first chain to be QC-resistant from Genesis Block, rather than wait until QC's are closer and QRL price is 10 or 100 times dearer.

Could it fail? Sure, and BTC could grind down to $500, or be attacked by the Chinese state. Nothing is certain, and no risk, no reward.

The shitshow on their discord channel is hilarious.

Huh, I've actually found it to be one of the more intelligent little niches in crypto. The people attracted to this project tend to be a bit brighter than your typical moon kid.

As for price, the ytd chart looks no different than 99% of alts.

Yes, a mainstream top 20 exchange would be nice, but the mainnet is humming along, the wallets and block explorer are excellent, the community manager addresses every complaint promptly and reasonably. The ERC20 is still getting volume on bittrex, they or some other exchange will list mainnet Quanta eventually.

Marketing, ok, but this is a decentralized project, if you want to get out there and shill, get out there and shill.

Personally I see this as a 3-10 year play, with a credible potential market cap of $10-100 billion once NIST has the world upgrading to PQ encryption, and QRL is Quantum Resistant from Genesis Block (and the first to be so), while all the other chains have to scramble to migrate every single address (and what about all the lost addresses? Is Satoshi even alive to move his ~ million BTC?).

As of June 2018, 19% of BTC addresses (4,242,958 of 22,275,753) that hold 36% of all bitcoins (6,080,090 of 17,072,361) reveal their public keys.

They aren't going to implement Shor's algorithm tomorrow, but it's coming, just a matter of time.

Is it possible to mine immediately to a bittrex wallet, and if not, how can I transfer coins into bittrex from the pool, on the exchange, the address qrl erc20

No, everyone abandoned the project aka scam.

That's 100% false, development is active, the mainnet is alive and flourishing, up to block 191,945: https://explorer.theqrl.org/lastblocks

Notes from the latest Dev meeting 1 Nov 2018, four days ago: https://github.com/theQRL/dev-meetings/blob/master/2018/11/1.md

1. Exchange

2. Coinvote JG and PWW meeting to discuss JG voting proposal tomorrow

3. Node - Address state - Unit tests completed - Block explorer API now updated - Explorer API unit tests complete - Fork recovery is running fine with the new changes - Next stage to run staging wallet and explorer - Mining/CLI backend changes

4. Go-QRL - P2P nearly completed - Go version should be running by the end of the week - Unit tests still need completing - Estimated 1 month before ready for community testing and then external audit

5. Web Wallet v2 - Envoy proxy written this week - SD will update further next week

6. QIP1: Migration to Cryptonote v8 - Internal discussions on pros and cons of changing mining algorithm - Good community discussion here and plan to allow this to continue over the next week.

7. Consensus mechanism - Consensus mechanism developments discussed - Face-to-face meeting planned

And the latest QIP seeks to add multiple deterministic wallet addresses, a very cool feature.
