1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPO of MaidSafe:  Entering the Future of the Decentralized Internet on: April 30, 2020, 05:49:08 AM
Been a SAFE fan since the begin.
Its one of the greatest if not the greatest crypto project ever.
A year form now many people will wish they bought it.
But even then...farming, apps, creation....

As bitsalame says... your comparing the new internet to a website or app, its like comparing a jet to remote controlled childrens toy.

The WWW was built over decades. Get some perspective. This project is bigger than Bitcoin. If you can't see that I don't know what to tell you.

3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Anyone make a living or a decent amount regularly crypto trading? on: August 02, 2016, 11:09:12 AM
HI all

I am looking to interview a couple of people who trade crypto regularly and successfully.

This means if your trade full time and make a living off of it or if you supplement your income and regularly bank profits.

PM me or message here.

The interviews may be conducted anonymously but proof may be required, interviews will likely be posted on a very popular facebook group dedicated to crypto currencies Smiley

Thanks guys
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Seat of Your Pants Crypto-Currency Trading Guide on: April 01, 2014, 07:00:45 AM
Really good information here.

I am a new trader and seem to be doing quite well so far.

I am mainly trading currency for currency. My pairs are DOGE/BTC.

It seems to me from my amateur perspective that this type of trading that I am doing is exactly like FOREX which I know nothing about.

Can you confirm this is true or not and if so what are some good guides you can recommend I read that I translate into crypto trading.

Thanks again, really good post!
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Any Trading Software on: February 11, 2014, 02:02:39 AM
Hi I am very new to trading so excuse me if anything I say or ask is naive.

I recently invested in Ðogecoin and have since decided to begin trading it with Bitcoin.

Not sure if I am right or not but it seems crypto coin trading is very similar to Forex?

So I was wondering if there is any trading software that assists with calculating trades and takes out a lot of the manual work similar to some of the Forex trading software?

One of this things I really would like to have it help me out with simply showing me when I am "In the green" so to speak.

Correct me if I am wrong but lets say I have X amount of ÐOGE which I have just traded for X amount of BTC. Basically I either need Ð to go down, BTC to go up, or a combination of both or even have Ð go up so long as BTC goes up higher right? Well All I really need for the moment is a piece of software that shows me that as I would like to see that visually.

Does anyone know of something like this?

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COYE] Coinye West - Launch: JANUARY 11, 2014. 11 PM EST on: January 04, 2014, 11:16:19 PM
TOTAL AND UTTER COMPLETE SCAM GUYS STAY AWAY

IN the following article both they and the journalist make a few mistakes:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/kanye-west-gets-his-own-virtual-currencythe-coinye-west-9038055.html

Quotes from the Article 1."the online business is not affiliated with Kanye West," 2.They say they can “picture a future where Coinye is used to buy concert tickets, with cryptographically verified virtual tickets.” 3. "They have offered the controversial star 100,000 Coinye ahead of the launch on 11 January" 4. "The company has not provided further details about its operations or how many people are involved in Coinye West."

So... they admitted to pre-mining, reserving stocks, the journalist made a boo boo when he called them out twice for being a business and a company... then they offered Kanye some of the coins, you dont just have access to the Kanye's phone number unless your in the biz... lol what a scam! So many people are going to get duped!

Notice how they say they are Not s PR company, but they dont say they are not a company at all... they just say they are a few guys... this means they are not lying and not being completely honest... I personally think they are a media company or a music firm IMHO.

Lastly a twitter user already caught them amending the total supply figures.. how do they explain that?

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinye West - Don't f**k with this coin on: January 04, 2014, 02:06:53 AM
DO NOT TOUCH THIS WITH A TEN FOOT POLE!

It is a total and utter scam coin designed for PR purposes and likely pump and dumps.

It is run by a music related company which means that it goes against everything there is regarding de-central crypto and more importantly they admit flat out that it is pre-mined!

Its a complete joke, no security developed by PR and Marketing people who have no idea what they are doing.

See here where they even admit most of it http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/kanye-west-gets-his-own-virtual-currencythe-coinye-west-9038055.html

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Any Litecoin Cloud Hashing/Mining Services on: December 09, 2013, 11:12:33 PM
Hi

I have been looking for a Litecoin cloud based hashing service for a while now.

The bitcoin cloud hashers are not doing it yet and the only other service offer from a website called grouphashing.com seems to be stagnant and I'm not even sure how legit it is at this stage, certainly not prepared to hand over any money to them yet.

I am able to buy around 2K worth of contract and I have two friends also interested.

Anyone know of anything?

Feel free to PM me or reply here.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GroupHashing FPGA Litecoin Mining Contracts Available NOW! [LIMITED QTY] on: December 09, 2013, 11:04:05 PM
Has anyone heard from this guy and or had communication with group hashing?

He was Last Active:    November 27, 2013, 06:14:00 PM and only registered 31st October, not looking good.

Cheers
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GroupHashing FPGA Litecoin Mining Contracts Available NOW! [LIMITED QTY] on: December 09, 2013, 06:48:16 PM
You around buddy?

Because I have been emailing you for days now and it took you about 3 days to partly respond to my first email and now nothing.

I see you have some open contracts now however before forking out 2K for 2 bitcoins it would be good to learn a little more about your company.

For example, a map listing, some sort of business ID or local chamber of commerce registration???

I also see that your live ustream is never on, can you explain why?

And why dont you have SSL certs on your account and payment pages, seems a little high risk to me considering now days SSL certs are very affordable.

Happy to pay, so long as you can show me its safe to do so but your lack of communication, transparency and mysteriousness really does not do much for your business to be perfectly honest with you.

You have to put yourself in our position and ask yourself if you would spend that kind of money on a service like yours if you where in our shoes.

Thank you and awaiting reply.
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cloud Hashing on: November 11, 2013, 09:42:35 PM
Mate your just being ridiculous now... your commenting on things you have no idea about and just making yourself look like a dill.

Good on ya mate.

I'm done.
17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cloud Hashing on: November 11, 2013, 09:07:03 PM
Right, sounds like a bit of humble pie is going on.

It's easy being a keyboard warrior.

I also notice you never apologised for your comments given as you say the quite lengthy amount of time since you last posted.. well done, you should be proud.

What you or I think about what he does with his business means absolutely nothing, so long as it is all above board and legitimate. If he wants to place orders and then cancel, that is a transaction that has nothing to do with you or your judgement. That is between cloudhashing and the supplier they did business with. As far as I understand that's not illegal. But that's all I'll say about matters I have no clue about.. hint**hint.

Your whole facebook like rant is pure speculation A) you have absolutely no proof, you may as well call him rape demon as your logic seems to suggest proof is not required when making a flamboyant claim on this forum and B) if they did buy likes, who cares? You can comprehend that many upon many companies do this, it is completely legal, facebook themselves created fake accounts on the face mash, reddit did the same thing. Is it right ethically? I dont know. Is it right morally? Well thats up to the individual to decide? Is it illegal? No.

Let's stick to the facts shall we, initial investors say that all is going well apart from some minor deposit issues due to tech which are apparently sorted out.

18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cloud Hashing on: November 11, 2013, 08:44:10 PM
So after calling them scam artists and all sorts of names after your captain investigator time you obviously went to investigate further and take that offer for coffee and a tour up right?

Also as far as I know from what I have read they began in September and since they are hashing as well as paying out, so much for a scam...
19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Cloud Hashing on: November 11, 2013, 08:17:09 PM
@Bitcoinorama Instead of making all sorts of bad claims that could harm this guys legit business, he offered to take you out for coffee and I assume take you to his premises, did you do that?

End of the day I see nothing wrong with what he is doing and instead smell some jealousy.

Someone said something about them purchasing the likes, firstly where is the proof since you are making a random claim based on your opinion only, secondly if they did buy likes, so what? You do realize massive companies buy likes all of the time they are just smart about it and get their advertising agency to do it for them, lol.

Last but not least, this guy says in his video that they cant guarantee profits, they cant guarantee what's going to happen to bitcoin all they will guarantee is that they will supply you with the hash power you purchase and deposit your earnings into your wallet and so far as I have seen they have been doing this.

Haters gonna hate.

Ill be making a small investment very soon as I'm not in any position to buy hardware and run it myself and this is a great option for someone like me especially since bitcoins price is so high atm. I also heard there will be options for litecoin mining near future, all the more reason.

Cheers
