Hi everyone as you see in the picture I can not start mining and I do not know what to do  my rig specs are : 1x ati hd7950 sempron 145 msi 970a-g43 2 gig ddr3 bus 1333 ram and my config is : cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://hk.wemineltc.com:3333 -u parham_dante.user -p 1 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-fan 100 --temp-cutoff 77 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1350 --gpu-vddc 1.105 --thread-concurrency 21712 -g 1 -v 1 --worksize 256 -I 17 please tell me what can I do to solve this problem thanks a lot |

I do not know which of these 2 mobos is good for using whith 4 HD 7970 for minig litecoin
msi 760GA-P43 (FX) or msi 970A-G43
can anyone help me with that ?
In theory the 970A-G43 because of the better performance of the chipset but you are talking a very, very small percentage. The 2 x PCI-ex16 makes connection slightly easier as well. thanks pal |

Try this configuration: cgminer.exe --scrypt -o http://xxx -u xxx -p xxx --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-fan 100 --temp-cutoff 77 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 1350 --gpu-vddc 1.105 --shaders 1792 --thread-concurrency 21712 -g 1 -v 1 --worksize 256 -I 17 I use cgminer 3.4.2 I tried that but I got error : GPU 0 failure, disabling !! I must admit that my cpu is AMD athlon X2 dual core 5200+ 2.70 GHz and I use 2gig ram DDR 2 my board is a gigabyte GA-M56S-S3 with 200 Megahertz bus clock I want to know that if hardware failure and "GPU 0 failure, disabling !!" are cause by my poor hardware or not ? and and I also want to know that is it necessary to upgrade my rig or not? thanks a lot for taking time I want to upgrade my rig and I do not know whether to choose which of these mobos 760GA-P43 (FX) or 970A-G43 and I want to buy a sempron 145 cpu that I know I must flash the bios in order to use the cpu I mentioned the main difference between 2 mobos is that 970A-G43 has 2 pcie 16x and 2 pcie 1x while 760GA-P43 (FX) has one pcie 16x and 3 pcie 1x and I want to use 4 radeon HD 7950 and I have raisers enough my question is that if I use 3 16x-1x raisers my hash rate drops or it will remain the same ,and please tell that what do you recommend ? thanks a lot |

Hey it's normally easier (at least in my opinion) to point your .bat file to a conf file which contains all of the settings for your cards. This is how I have mine setup, the .bat file contains the following: setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 cgminer -c litecoin.conf _________ Where litecoin.conf is a new text file I have saved (This is mining for litecoin instead of bitcoin, but you set this up the same regardless. my HD 7950 hast rate is about 375 kh/s using cgminer but I thought It maight be around 650 kh/s
I want to know how to improve it to 650 kh/s or higher
and is there another miner better than cgminer
