10  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] 1x to 16x with molex Cheaper than Ebay! £5 Each, Paypal or Escrow on: March 17, 2014, 08:26:43 PM
Hi all,

I'm selling some 1x to 16x risers with molex for £5 Each, price includes delivery to mainland UK. I will post to European countries but the buyer will cover the postage cost.

Buyers are also more than welcome to collect, for which I will accept cash on collection. Location is Portsmouth, I will also deduct the postage cost for the quantity required from the total.

Payment accepted is Paypal or Escrow, if it's escrow the fees will be paid by the buyer. I will accept Bitcoin payments once I have built a trustworthy standing, I understand people have been knocked in the past.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Cheers.

13  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Buying mining GPU hardware in UK on: November 28, 2013, 06:41:27 PM
Hi all,

Where's the best place to buy mining hardware in the UK? There seems to be a lot of choice over in the states, but when it comes to the exact same items over here they tend to be around 30-50% more expensive!

Where do you guys buy from?

I'm looking at a GPU mining rig around 4,000 Kh/s for an idea on cost allowance.

Cheers

16  Economy / Auctions / AUCTION - 32 BFL chip credits on: November 13, 2013, 02:41:13 PM

Hi all,

I'm auctioning off my 32 BFL chip credits, equivalent to $800 discount or $25 per chip.

Upon completion of the auction they will be transferred to the buyers BFL account.

Starting bid -- 0.1 BTC
Increments of -- 0.1 only

I have a reserve in mind but will consider reasonable BIN offers.

Bidding will end on Saturday 16th 08:00 GMT

I understand that I'm relatively new to the forum and people will have concerns about scam, so I'm willing to send the credits over first before payment if the member is established and trusted enough.

Any questions send a PM over.

Cheers
17  Bitcoin / Mining support / Internet bandwidth requirements for ASIC's on: November 12, 2013, 02:16:28 PM
Hi guys

What kind of internet connection would be required to run a 60GH/s ASIC? Is the bandwidth under constant strain whilst mining or is the mathematical problem given to the computer, then once the problem is solved only then is the bandwidth used to send the information back? Currently on a lower tier connection and wondering if I should upgrade (yes I know faster is better....despite what my gf says) but if I could get away without raising the monthly outgoings it would be beneficial. Is the growth in requirement linear? for example if 2TH/s were put on the connection.

Cheers
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Is 'renting' GH/s a viable option? any guys here do it? on: November 11, 2013, 05:01:04 PM
Hi guys, first post so please be gentle.

Through my currently short adventure in to the world of Bitcoin, I've come across an increasing number of individuals/organisations offering GH/s up for rent. Now, is this option a profitable one? when one takes in to the account the cost of running the hardware, not to mention the initial cost of purchasing, is it an avenue many miners have explored? or more of a gag for the less informed to hand over their hard earned cash? Here in the UK the approximate cost per KW/h is around $0.22 about 30% more than across the pond, and with the ever increasing difficulty soon you'll need 2TH/s to get a decent return if you purchase the device (just an estimation).

Minerlease is one company which offers the service, although I think they're quite expensive. However as some topics/articles have stated the cost of BTC could reach $1000, again yes I understand this is entirely speculation but say if you made 2 BTC over the year, that would most likely cover your costs of rental and you'd make a tidy profit from doing well.....nothing.

So, what are your thoughts?

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Late to the game Is it still worthwhile? on: November 10, 2013, 04:00:08 PM
the figures for the 2 TH/s look profitable still, although they won't be out until March time and are around $5k, still looking a good return though...guess it just depends on how quickly the difficulty rises.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Are there any android apps for live BTC value? on: November 10, 2013, 03:52:47 PM
Hi guys,

As the title states, are there any apps that give you live up to date information about BTC (and alt coins) value?

Cheers
