i have a question about solo mining   my main pc has about 150 hash so if i want more hash do i add more pcs? my second pc has about 38 hash so if i added this to the network does this up my hash rate to 183 hash or is each pc counted separate total all 6 pc i can add about 400 hash a wile back i ran solo for a few days and got 69 coins but have not gotten a coin since but only ran my main pc solo wile i pool mine with the rest

wallet says i have 248.30133939 XMG
 cryptoid     220.82357058 XMG
when i check the id for the 23 coins i get not yet redeeemed

u have coins in a change address u dont see that coins on explorer if u check ur main address
but they are still in ur wallet

enable coin control and search for change addresses

dint worry your coins are showing in your wallet and if you have right blockchain loaded in your wallet nothing to get scare, my wallet has 213 XMG and chainz.cryptoid.info shows only 30 xmg stll its ok, since it is not knowing one of my addresses which generated or recieved those coins.

magi rigs for rent with very low one time payments. hashes upto 150khps and duration upto 1 year.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3907169.0
not worried now i send them to my other wallet and there now. now if i can get the 7000 coins i made when the network was all messed up i be very happy . but i take it i just mined air but oh well i was happy for a few mins lol

when i try to solo mine  using one wallet on anouter computer i get this from the other computer 2018-05-18 08:38:22] HTTP request failed: Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 8232: Connection refused       i have tried with different setting and can only solo mine on each computer with the wallet running for that computer. i wan to only use one wallet on my main computer not sure what i am doing wrong.

127.0.0.1 is local ip and can NOT be accessed via LAN!

change
from "listen=0" to "listen=1"
in magi.conf and restart the GUI. This will force it to listen on ALL IPs in your PC.
i changed the config as you said restarted the wallet and now i gt this when i run my miner on the windows pc
[2018-05-18 09:15:15] HTTP request failed: Recv failure: Connection was reset

[2018-05-18 09:15:15] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds

[2018-05-18 09:15:45] HTTP request failed: The requested URL returned error: 403 Forbidden

[2018-05-18 09:15:45] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds

After
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
add
rpcallowip=?.?.?.?
where ?.?.?.? is the ip you wish to allow/give acces to the daemon; you can use wilcard like ?.?.?.* to allow network (not ip)
thanks that worked Smiley

Compiling cpuminer-opt on Ubuntu 18.04
Please, do not directly quote this message!

Step 1: Installing Dependencies

To compile and run cpuminer-opt, your system will need to download a few programs. These are mission-critical for a successful compile. The following command will download and automatically install the programs necessary:

sudo apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev libjansson-dev libgmp-dev automake zlib1g-dev

Some of these programs will require that your system be updated to the latest LTS release of Ubuntu. Some versions of the programs necessary for cpuminer-opt to run are not contained in the repositories of older Ubuntu releases. You should update your system to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS if you haven't already.

Step 2: Downloading the Source Code

Execute the command below to download Version 3.8.8.1 of the program to your working directory, extract it, then change into the newly extracted folder: (execute each of these lines, one at a time)

tar xvzf v3.8.8.1.tar.gz
cd ./cpuminer-opt-3.8.8.1

Step 3: Compiling the Program

Execute the command below to compile the program: (Again, execute each of these lines, one at a time):

./autogen.sh
CFLAGS=”-03 -march=native -Wall” ./configure –with-curl
make

If you plan on installing this to your system, make sure to change “make” to “sudo make install”, and if you encounter any issues, I'll try to remain open here to answer them to the best of my abilities. Hope this helped some!
well  thats was to easy it was all ready compile in the arch  aur repos got it installl but didnt see any info on the commadns to fire it up so i did this
(  /usr/bin/cpuminer -a m7m -o http://127.0.0.1:8232 -u myusername -p x  )       it works i am solo mining now on all 16 treads instead of the 8 the other gui miner was doing. not sure all the commands or best way to run it but yeah it works thanks...  UPDATE... found out i dont need the /usr/bin to run it  now i made a start up script   (   cpuminer -a m7m -o http://127.0.0.1:8232 -u myusername -p x   )

sad news i let my machine run wile i went to see my mom came back and system crashed i just made 40 magi coins solo mining and rebooted the machine and the os is toast. well have to reinstall. i was able to get to my magi coin file and save it so what do i need to do to get my wallet back? do i just need to replace new wallet.dat file with my saved wallet.dat file?

update i fianly got solo mineing working on the windows machin amd my main linux machine only way it work is runing GUI m-cpuminer-qt... m-minerd well not work for solo mining. all ready made 1.92 magi in 4 hours

If you really want to go down the path of solo mining, I'd recommend cpuminer-opt if your Dell Server (if that's what it really is) supports at least SSE2, AVX and AES on it's cpu(s). You can easily determine this with sudo lshw -class CPU.
it a older dell t-5500  its a workstation-server  here the out-put from the commands
[steve@Dell-Server ~]$  sudo lshw -class CPU

my wallet not syncing
which wallet is official?
pool is making paying out
but to which chain?
which chain is primary?

https://poolinfo.systms.org/ primary

true since max kh/s is only 60 and i have no idea how to make a cpu rig just for it and the only way i see to do that is a huge raspberry pi cluster. And thank you for replying.

A Cluster of Raspberry pi's should give you a reasonable hashrate. Depending how many you have in your cluster. but depending how much you pay for a pi. Here by the time i buy 4 pi's here in Australia i can do a cheap computer with a reasonable cpu and get more then a cluster can.

give you an idea i have a AM4 AMD A8-9600 (Quad Core) (APU) using 3 threads at 100% i get 40 - 65khs from it (not overclocked) if i used 4 threads i would get 55 - 70khs max
I have another AMD AM4 Ryzen 5 1500x (4 core) using all 8 threads at 100% i get 80 - 140khs from it (overclocked too)
I have another AMD AM4 Ryzen 7 1700 (6 core) using all 12 threads at 100% i get 115 - 180khs from it (not overclocked)
both are not over clocked either

thats cool i got a am+3 fx 6300 6 core, thank you for the info. what type of miner are you using im using m-cpuminer-qt and only get 8 threads max

Thats a good one thats a little higher then the one i have. Mine is a fx 6100 6core. i try to use to use m-minerd (Commandline version) as much as i can for the ease of automation for cold starts/reboots. i got it running on a 21 core VPS i run for my business. and got it using 16 threads. if you need help with the batch file let me know.

http://www.coinmagi.org/files/m-cpuminer/m-cpuminer-qt-32-win.zip

i've only used sweetspot once
http://www.coinmagi.org/files/m-cpuminer/NeedIfFindIt-Sweet-Spot/

with my 6100 i get 40 - 65khs, its alittle overclocked but not by much.

as the fx series doesnt use multiple threads per core you'll best be able to use use 6 threads.
if your unsure go to task manager and click on more details if using windows 10
then go to performance. and then right click on the cpu graph on the right and go to change graphs and select logical processes
this will tell you how many threads your cpu has and thats the best max you can use. if you go over that amount you will reduce your hashrate.
going 1 thread lower sometimes gives you better results. it will all depends on heatsink and its heat dissipation.
i have a old Xeon 8 Core 3.06Ghz wich get me about 50 to 70 khs and 2 raspberry pi one pi hash rate is like 7 the other is 3.29 kh the weird part is one min i am getting 350 khs out of the xeon and then it drop back to 50 or so the pi well some time jumpo up to 50 kh why i dont know not sure if it from the russian guy playing with the net work i have never seen my kh jump up like this before, and my pool shows i made 7 magi coins sicne the hack started but i olny got 2 the rest where orpaned

could you, for common future good, not make a pull request on github with a fix, post an issue with the error on github, or atleast point to area where the bug is?

I can't do this
First reason, I am realy don't know how to proper fix this. Have some ideas and all.
Main reason is money. I spend many time to be able to attack, now returning my time-investments with profit.
Don't understand your posts here. Are you giving the community a confirmation you are attacking Magi & abuse the open-source for own profit?
Not abuse, but help to improve security with own profit. I do nothing bad for net, just increase POW rewards for miners.
As I say before, simple bug reports not working wit Joe.
how is this helping us. i just made 2 magi coins wich was just opransed so far i have lost 4 ,magi coins since this stared.  so yeah it helping me get rid of ,my coins.

Everything I show in my account for transactions in Suprnova is "Unconfirmed"
same here evry thing i mined since the hf are now unconfirmed on Suprnova and bull miner have not made any thing a=since hf so i am shutting my miners down.
