Good idea and I actually had .png high resolution images (example: https://deeponion.org/assets/img/wallet-hero.png) that were downsized with code to look clear even on iMac 5K but the team wanted as much compression as possible and intrinsic image sizes so I sized them down and compressed.

I will find a way to keep the file size low and still have some readable images that are not too blurry or with artifacts. I will use .png on the main images.

 

It’s nice to see how much DeepOnion has grown since 2017. I can only imagine the years to come!

I also noticed on the website it says they go live on January 2019.

It is most likely a bandwidth issue. They were getting many visits at a time from all over the world of people voting.

They are using namecheap hosting and will have to upgrade to a better hosting company and also a better server.

I saw the plan they are most likely on and now I am 100% certain it was a bandwidth issue. They need to get out of that hosting company asap.

If they want to be taken serious they should not be trying to save on cheap hosting...

DeepOnion Shopify Payment App Update

I just wanted to give an update. The DeepOnion Shopify Payment App is completed and we are just doing some final transaction stress testing. We are also preparing all of the marketing materials and our marketing plan. As soon as it is all ready we will post the official release.

My one year anniversary with DeepOnion is coming up in 1 week.  Also my twin brothers lol.

We have to finish several contributions we will complete by that day so will be busy, but I think everyone will be happy.

It is time consuming but soon all social medias will be updated and very professional.  It just takes time to finish many custom images.

Just wanted to give an update. The DeepOnion Shopify Payment Plugin is over 95% completed. A lot of stress testing being done at the moment.


I think everyone will really love this one. A lot of attention to every detail is being put into the plugin and my brother and I made this with the love we have for our beautiful community!
