1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [ANN] AutoMiner 1.0.0: Multi-Algo Mining With MiningRigRentals.com Intergration on: July 29, 2018, 02:55:15 AM
AutoMiner V1.0.0

I've used MiningRigRentals.com since my very first rig but as profitabiltiy dropped I looked for another option and ran into Algo Switching. Eventually, I thought why not combine the best of both worlds? Algo Switching and Rig Renting. Typically you are paid a premium when rented out but; you're not always rented out. So I built AutoMiner to enhance rental odds, maintain profiability when not rented with algo switching, allow miner changing flexibility (use any miner you want), and even monitor miners and gpu failures to prevent downtime.

So far with my testing my rental frequency has increased dramatically and I am very happy with my results considering the current state of mining.

Features

  • Mines the most profitable coin according to selected pools API and profit selection used. (BlazePool and ZergPool currently)
  • Monitors miner crashes and automatically restarts crashed miners.
  • Monitors GPU Temperatures and Utilization. If GPU Utilization drops too low miner restart is attempted. After 6 failures automatic reboot will occur. (Only if "Monitor GPU" is checked)
  • Manages rig availability on MiningRigRentals.com while algo switching.
  • Launch a "Pre-Run Process" prior to starting miner. Useful for overclocking per algo or running other files prior to starting your miner.
  • Easily edit and change miners. Miners are not built in so you are free to use any miner you like.
  • Manage MiningRigRentals.com pricing with MRR Minimum Limit and % Increase from algo switching pools estimate or MRR suggested pricing.
  • Auto closes detached miners that should not be open.
  • Make all of your MiningRigRentals.com rigs available at once to increase odds of being rented and automatically disable when rented.

Quick question,

I have been running 5 cards, and today added a sixth.  I reset benchmarks and am in the process of re-running them.  The issue is in the miner windows its only using 5 cards.  I see in the main window its using the command -d 0,1,2,3,4 (so only 5 cards).  Is this normal?  I used the detect GPUs and it pulls all six cards.  Its showing 6 active but only 5 are being used in the miner window.

Any ideas?

FWIW these are my usual troubleshooting steps:

1. Quit Nemos
2. Delete the miners folder
3. Restart the machine
4. Run Nemos
5. Detect cards
6. Save config
7. Start mining

It's a bit of a hassle but that should definitely get it going.

I've noticed that if I change the GPU count. I must click "save config" exit out of nemosminer and re-open for it to fully update and use the new GPU count.

Last week, I did a long term test of only "plus" logic of blazepool/zergpool/zpool - all evelauated only by cheking reward in wallet (not nemos estimate, which is very inacurate)

Blazepool - was usually just mining 1 algo with terrible reward.
Zergpool - was swaping algos well, but reward was small
Zpool - swaping algos, best reward for my setup

you guys with good result on blazepool, i suppose you are using "normal" pool settings, right?

Yes, the admin of Blazepool also endorses using "normal" mode on their pool.

I haven't had anything else do as well as Blaze on normal setting.

I can vogue for this as well. In fact I have noticed such great results that I am exclusively using Blazepool right now with the Blazepool miner which is just a fork of nemosminer found on the Blazepool website. I previously was using Zergpool and miningpoolhub and the payouts never seemed to be on par to what I would expect. Even just mining RVN seemed better then algo switching with Zergpool at least for me. You certainly want to use normal mode with Blazepool.

Hello, I am trying to use the Monitor_8card.bat file to monitor my rig for miner crashes. It seems to work well however, I noticed that after a long period of time the bat file is no longer running. Has anyone else had luck with Monitor_8card.bat running for a extended period of time (more than a day) to monitor rig is mining?
Did you ever get anywhere with this?

Manc, I never got a solution to fixing the Monitor_8card.bat file but I was able to solve most of the miner crashing related issues by adjusting my overclock settings. I am running 8 x 1080 ti's at 80% TDP, +50 Core Clock, and +500 Memory Clock.

Hey guys do you have preferences on which pool configuration to use? Do you prefer to use the "Plus" option?
