1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: AMT fucks us over again on: September 08, 2014, 07:14:49 AM
Guys,

We're not from the US, but are in the same ship as all of you. We've ordered our 4 (yes, four) miners mid December last year because of the promises Jim (who remembers him anyway...) gave about delivery on January 28th 29th (looked it up Wink ).

We were in contact with Jared a while back and followed the lawsuit closely.
Plain and simple, we as all of you want our money back. In fact, we requested a refund March 15th of this year, because we already suspected nothing would be delivered in time.

Now that the situation has changed yet again -Josh fleeing the scene and all is what it looks like- we were thinking to report this as a fraud as well.
Now, looking at http://www.stopfraud.gov/ the question here from us Dutch guys is: which fraud to report? Can anyone assist in that and possible other questions that may arise during the process?
Note: I am not asking anyone to involve themselves in our particular case, no names will be mentioned or anything. Just if we have questions, looking to get some help.

thanks, Jesse

AMT_

Check and confirm if we're on your "refund list" - if ever such a list existed. We're still waiting on our money.

Has anyone been in contact with AMT of recent? I am still waiting for them to cough up our refund. Weeks ago they promised some sort of agreement to be sent to all clients, to choose between a few options and nothing was heard afterward.

AMT, since you're all on the up 'n up with this reorganization, what's up with not answering us? Could you muster up at least the courtesy to answer us? Pref via email, but here is fine too Cheesy

Dear AMT customers/clients/followers.

We write to inform you that due to the pending class action, Lenell et al. v. Advanced Mining Technology, Inc., No. 14-cv-01924 (E.D.Pa.), we will no longer be communicating on the Bitcoin Talk Forum per the advice of our attorneys. We are still working towards resolving all outstanding customer complaints in conjunction with our counsel. Please note that customers may still contact us directly to  discuss issues with their orders, but we will be unable to use the forum as a means of communication regarding specific orders or the pending litigation. You may contact us by phone at 855-866-6463 or by email at josh@advancedminers.com .  We will still handle individual communications regarding orders within the ordinary course of business.

Yes, what IS the point of telling us to contact you when you have no intentions to answer any of us?  I emailed twice, once Monday and once Tuesday and nothing. Just the proverbial sound of crickets trying to get laid. At least someone is being **** here... Wink

Chances are they probably got barred from even doing that.

Well, possibly... Still, don't write up such a note then. Who are the attorneys they avidly keep refering to? Does anyone know?

That we're trying our best to create refund/upgrade options that will satisfy our current clients in the end. At this point its about making our clients happy, specifically those that have been nice and patient along the way.

Nice and patient. Yes. Right. seeing as how we have been nice and patient you decided to not answer any of our refund requests.
When are you going to refund us, AMT_ ?
10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 12, 2014, 10:32:26 AM
it's a fascinating process isn't it. It's kinda like watching a car accident. You don't want to watch but you keep turning your head towards the accident because it is both horrible and mesmerizing. I keep coming back here to read the posts, the anger, the coolness of some people, the unparalleled incapacity to communicate properly.
The other reason I keep coming back is because, contrary rational considerations, I keep hoping they will reveal their new policy on refunds. They rpomised this a week ago (saying they would publish it that day) and still crickets chirping.

Hey AMT_, how's about an answer? Where's the money?
11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 09, 2014, 01:29:45 PM
THINK Guys
Just a week or two delay is bringing you to 0 almost
However AMT will do whatever it takes to add just a little more delays for you be sure about it

Hey Iosha, How are you helping with these comments? Seriously, some people are happy receiving their miner, some are still waiting, some are waiting for their REFUND. That's it.
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 09, 2014, 05:48:37 AM

Also this lawsuit has revised our thoughts on refunds/upgrades. We feel, even though our financial situation isn't one of the best, that partial refunds or partial upgrades are due to our clients. We're working out a program and will release notice of which by the end of the day.

No release notice "at the end of the day".... I am really surprised. Usually AMT_ is so much more communicative. And promises are always kept..

can i offer critique amt. i understand you are a human being and as such have some fire when posting on here, it may be late evening and your at home in front of your home pc but dont forget your acting as an ambassador for your company on here. never the less you have to defend the name of your company but you should not be engaging on a "personal level" in a forum tennis match. if i had done this in previous employment including a facebook post calling a close college a fag or work shy gimp id be in hr before i could ask why. just a thought dont engage fin answer questions but make no personal judgement.

Sht! Do not criticize this company or you will lose your place in line.....  Grin Grin Grin Grin

My post was tongue-in-cheek and not meant to diss your post in any way, bud. Apologies!

It is
They are mining at full speed while you are waiting...
Sad but true

Although I have no reason to defend them, for the sake of credibility of this forum, Iosha, Do you have any proof that they actually mine with the machines their clientèle ordered? If not, let's stick to the facts. It's completely unnecessary to help them bring their business to the grave, looks like they're quite up to the task.

Hey AMT_ you chose to ignore us from day 1 of our cancellation and demand for refund, however the question remains:

Where's our money. I hope you did not use it to finance subsequent orders, for I think that constitutes a pyramid scheme, now doesn't it?

You have no proof that what AMT is doing constitutes a pyramid scheme, so let's stick to the facts.  Wink Wink Wink

Phinn, I think I said "I HOPE you didn't ...." therefore not actually implying that they are, I was merely asking  Grin

amt why do you suddenly vanish when a question is asked about a delivery. STOP IT. as discussed before this is one of the main problems, give answers and keep us updated

EDIT: i hope u went offline to go post some of our orders and not just to avoid confrontation
ROFL. A CUP OF TEA AND A CHECK OF THE BACK ORDER IS FINE. remember they did say no account specifics here tho didnt they ;-P

However, they also said that KITS would be delivered three days from March 29th. Allowing for business days v weekends and hanging around the pool drinking banana daiquiris of our money - they should've arrived uhm, wait, 29, keep the 3, add 5 subtract 2, uhm....

TUESDAY!!!!
As far as I have seen here on the forum only Casey has his in hand. So. There's three in the wild now.

No wonder we canceled our order.

Hey AMT_ where's our money....

19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 03, 2014, 04:16:21 PM
Accepting a payment of 1k wouldn't be fair to others, its not about the money its about following some sort of order when shipping these things out.

And here's the FTC regulations that confirm that AMT is not only illegally delaying orders, but also illegally refusing refunds.

Hey AMT_ Where's our refund?
There's no "position" for you to be in regarding refunds. If you run a business and the customer is sick of waiting (because there's no delivery at all) then he cancels the order. And you refund. You can't agree or disagree. Just not.
So, again, Hey AMT_ Where's our refund?
"where's the money Lebowski...."
Delivering to people at the end of the queue in stead of working up the queue in the correct order (fifo) wouldn't be fair either.
Nor would giving people a miner because he drove a day and a half (although, admittedly, I enjoyed that part of this daily soap, so maybe I am fine with Phinn having a miner now  Grin )
Nor would withholding people their delivery for whatever reasons.

Let's not talk fair, let's talk refund.

as iv said before and il say again. amt sayys they have no psus wether this is true or not u decide. not sticking up for them but let say they dont they cant work thru the orders as parts arent available so why can people not jump the queue who are willing to fork out for a psu and not wait another month for a psu to arrive? again i reiterate not sticking up for amt and nothing to be said about you shouldnt accept it without but those who choose to accept it without the psu will obviously get things first. supply v demand. u want it with psu there is no psu supply i dont mind it without psu the supply is there.

Regtable, (I keep reading regrettable, not very strange as you too have ordered from AMT_  Grin Grin ) i have no interest in having a LEGO-box delivered to my home. It's not going to ROI. Ever. I want my refund. I cancelled my order.
Also: take no offense but I have trouble reading your posts. English is not my first language and your sentences seem to go on forever. At one point I can't remember what the starting point was.

AMT_ Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund? Where's our refund?
