Newbie Restrictions
You can only post in the Newbie and Local sub-forums till you have made one post and waited 4 hours. This post must be substantial: at least several sentences. The other two restrictions are you need 1 post to be able to send a PM and 10 posts to put a link in your sig.  You can only post once every 360 to start and there are a few other things that trigger this timer such as logging in and searching.

Good idea, I can help build you a trading platform. Or do you already have one in mind, that can be adapted to fit the bill?

br. TonnyC, 20 years + experience building amongst many other things financial software

I'm a professional developer, with over 10 years of dev experience.  I have an MBA from a top 10 US business school and have launched multiple start ups. I'm evaluating opportunities in the crypto currency space and am here to learn from the other posters.

I'm currently looking at building a crypto company funding/trading web site, similar to one that I know of that is operating now.  But I believe I could do a lot better, and help many small companies reach an investing audience.

Appreciate any feedback or ideas you have for this space.

I am an experienced developer, and I can help you with your bitcoin software projects:- Grin

I am currently working on a project to parallelize bitcoin mining, which in my book should prove being several factors faster than current mining technologies.

My feedback is we need a trading company that is fully licensed in the US. That would be awesome.

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all doing well.  Cool

I am a newbie in every sense of the word when it comes to bitcoins. I first read/discovered bitcoins when I came across an article on SilkRoad the drugsite that was closed down by FBI. And lately I have come across it, in (it seems) more and more places (my feeling is that it is gaining momentum.

I m a danish software developer, and I had my first go at "bitcoin mining" with a homebrewn program yesterday. As you might know/expect I didn't earn anything, but as a proof of concept I am quite thrilled. Actually seing how "fast" my code runs and how little was achieved I am looking for specialized hardware and comparing them to each other. So I have decided to start by purchasing a RedFury USB miner, does anyone here have any experiences with this device? I would like to know what to expect in advance and before actually buying one.

Any help is appreciated.

Br.
