Basically this went on for 3 pages.  Bottom line is that people do need to be patient.  Most coins that go on Cryptsy go down initially.  Whether or not it goes back up will depend on everyone's efforts.  There is nothing wrong with believing in the coin and there is also nothing wrong with believing this coin will go to zero.  However, we cannot expect this to generate mass attention out of the hundreds of cryptocoins overnight.  I believe we just got on Cryptsy last week, so give it a little time and help to support.

I have been lurking here a while, and recently had the idea to start a fund for the families of Malaysian Flight 370.  This has led to the creation of saturncoinfoundation.org which is very exciting.  As someone else alluded to Dogecoin got their big boost by supporting the Jamaican Bobsled Team.  It is amazing that we have so many people here willing to work on this.

Yes this one is an excellent idea as SAT will help towards a cause and also gain some popularity. We could have a dedicated website something like 'saturncoinfoundation', start a new campaign there for MH370, have a publicly viewable SAT address and update the SAT amount real time in the page whenever someone donates.

This would be amazing!  Hopefully we can get it rolling soon.  I'm ready to donate.  I believe it would be best to have some sort of initial stash in there that people can see before it rolls out.

I believe that with so many different altcoins on the market now it is very hard to make the market believe that this particular coin is any different from all of the other coins out there.  It seems that the majority of the coins now are just dumped onto the market and the creators and early adopters make a little bit of money and then the people late to the party lose money and everyone forgets about it.

For example, I remember Earthcoin was getting some attention when it came out, and then there was big news as it was going to Cryptsy.  I believe it debuted there at roughly 140 satoshis and now it is at 11 satoshis.  Another example is 42 coin.  It was going crazy when it first came out and was valued at roughly 1,200 bitcoins each!!  Now it is valued at 90 bitcoins each.

In my opinion, in this day and age of cryptocurrency, it is going to take longer for any of these new coins to stand out as a legitimate coin to the cryptoworld.  For most people, they just look at it as another market and try to make a few bucks here and there trading in the short term.

For me, the primary reason I have invested my time, money, and miners to Saturncoin is that the Saturncoin community seems fully dedicated to long term success.  If we are going to generate any true value to Saturncoin, then it is going to take time and effort to get this accepted by vendors.

I would also say that if there is anywhere you can help spread the positive word about Saturncoin then that can go a long way to getting this coin recognized.  We can all work to build this.  This not only helps protect your investment, but helps to build the community further.

I am in this for the long haul, and believe that if everyone stays dedicated to the cause then there is no reason to believe that Saturncoin cannot significantly appreciate in value.  We have to realize that most people are attracted to the shiny new coins that are created everyday, so we have to work double time to keep the Saturncoin name out there.

I agree completely that the ultimate goal is for this coin to be used in everyday life, but we are going to have to find a way to distinguish Saturncoin from the seemingly never ending crap cryptocoins that debut everyday.  I believe most people have become jaded with new coins.  I think Saturncoin is different with all of the community support.

We need to find a way to get some mainstream interest which is why I suggested the idea of starting a fund for the families of Malaysian Flight 370.  This seems to be the most mainstream thing right now, and it would be a great cause to get behind.  If we can show that this coin can be used to help solve a problem, then people may begin to take more notice.

Hello, I just wanted to commend you on all of your hard work for Saturncoin!!  I have been lurking for a while now, and do believe heavily in the prospects of this coin.  The Saturncoin community really seems to have it together, and have really attracted me to the coin.

I believe one of the best things we could do now to bring some great press to Saturncoin, and to make a difference, is to start a fund for the families of Malaysian Flight 370.

I know some other causes have been mentioned, but this one involves aviation.

If there is interest in this, I would be willing to start off donating a million Saturncoin to the effort.  I will donate more if interest is generated.  I believe we would have to set up some separate wallet file that tracked this, and keep all the records public.  I'm an accountant, and am willing to help in any way with tracking.

I'm not an expert in web design or anything like that, but have noticed that there are some people in the Saturncoin community that would be great at spreading the word about this.  I'm not sure if we would need a new website or just posts on already existing websites.  If a new website is needed, I would be willing to help fund the domain/hosting costs.

Ultimately for Saturncoin to realize it's true potential, we are going to have to get as many vendors accepting Saturncoin as possible.  I think this could be a great way to generate a lot of interest and get the name out there, and to build on all the things that are already in the works.
