1  Economy / Goods / [WTB] Precious metals (gold/silver) on: November 19, 2013, 09:00:31 PM
I want to buy some gold or silver with BTC. Not coins but actual lumps / small bars. i wanna pay close to actual current values.

there seems to be a few sites doing it. http://bitcoincommodities.com looks good, though prices are about 30% above bulk market rates. has anyone tried them?

Can you add a gateway for i2p, too?

+1

Yes please!
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Bitcoin mixer - which are good? on: November 17, 2013, 10:51:33 AM
Hi. I'm fairly new here. I want to use bitcoin mixers for some purchases but don't know which ones are trustworthy.

Which have you used / which do you trust?

Sure, I'll just need you to supply root access to 1000 computers and we can get started.

 Grin

I guess what I'm actually asking for is that. Someone willing to rent out their bot net.
5  Economy / Services / Seeking DDoS testing and/or penetration testing "greyhat" services on: November 16, 2013, 05:18:06 PM
I wish to purchase a DDoS. This would be for testing purposes.

Payment to be made in BTC, and will be made based on results. A small down payment would be acceptable provided the individual has some reputation here.

The plan would be to start relatively small and build up, which will also give us an opportunity to demonstrate to each other that we are trustworthy. In other words, the first test will be quite small and thus cost less.

Please either reply to this thread or PM me with a quote. For example:

 1 hour
 1,000 nodes
 1 Gbps total
 1 BTC

I'm also interested in greyhat hackers offering penetration test type services.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does this forum store IP addresses? on: November 14, 2013, 08:21:44 PM
I hope you are not worrying about this for the wrong reasons
hope you are a legit member

If you mean spamming or scamming I'm certainly not planning anything like that. Part of it is that I like anonymity, but darknets user numbers are too low in general (on forums etc)

For example, I wish to procure some specialist professional services in a way that they cannot be linked back to me at all. Bitcoin seems an ideal vehicle through which to make the transaction (via a mixer), but I still need to be able to advertise the requirement somewhere, hence signing up here.

btw, found this post quite helpful: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99601.msg1089571#msg1089571 (about Tor and the forum).

Well that's disappointing. I'd have thought that in order to avoid being forced into snooping by the local authorities they would deliberately avoid retaining IP address information.

do they store IPs for anti-spam etc?

Also, according to whois it is based in the Netherlands, yes? That is a comfort at least.

I'm new here. I was surprised to find I could not register via a proxy, though can use the site via one. The implication of this is that the forum stores the IP address from which people initially register. Is that the case?
