1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DERO: DAG + Cryptonote + Bulletproofs + SSL + POW + Smart Contracts on: February 08, 2024, 10:08:27 PM
Good Morning

As of April 15th, 2024, the Stargate coins from the Atlantis swap will be burned. Any pending swaps will be completed before the burn and no further requests to swap coins will be accepted. It is far past the deadline window and many courtesy requests for late swaps have been granted already.

Any requests to swap after this time will be rejected so, please take the necessary steps to ensure that your DERO Coins are on the Stargate chain and not Atlantis.

Thanks

Coincidently because its dead and they're tired of pretending its not?

Angry baby mod just banned me again. It's really a great atmosphere in a project when 1 mod reads every single message, replies to every single message, and bans everyone he doesn't like. You get into Dero, you run into Azylem. No matter the platform. There's no way past this giant asshole.

Everyone in this project is anonymous because its a pure scam.

returning in 2023, the project has come a long way

A long way to death, apparently. Sigh, it has 1 tiny exchange left. Wow, this time I really got royally screwed like with no other coin before. I thought NANO was the worst managed coin in existence but here's a contender.

I heard about good news for people who missed the swap session, stay tuned.

And? Still hearing good news? Its been 3.5 months since your post and almost a year since the blitz-swap.

And the graph looks pretty shit ngl.

This "project" turned out to be a scam over time.

The anonymous lead developer decided on a deadline of 6 months to transfer your coins to the "new main net".

The coin supply of the new main net was at first entirely in the hands of the dev. The remaining unswapped coins were supposed to be burnt - the burn never happened, if you ask about it on Discord you get banned. There are also no view keys in this coin so they couldn't prove the burn anyway. Seems they're just keeping the unswapped coins now.
Everyone officially involved in this project, from the main dev to the moderators is part of some German "in"-clique that probably knows each other irl, makes weird decisions and bans everyone who asks about it. Some of the moderators might legit be 14 years old.

6 months was pretty short, especially considering there is exactly 1 information outlet for this coin, and that is their Discord. There were no other indications anywhere that a "new main net" was even coming. There was no talk about this in 2018-20.
If you did read the Discord, you could read hints of the swap a few months a head of time. If you bought this coin in 2018 or so, and just held it, you got screwed. You also got screwed if you swapped and held after that, because the burn won't happen.

From what I understand there's actually a guy coding this. Apart from that, Stockholm Syndrome seems to be what keeps most of the people holding their bags.

Hi,

signed up just to post about this.

Whether it's an intentional scam or not, so far this site has only eaten $200 from me. First the deposit took several hours despite being confirmed on the blockchain. When I finally saw the eth in my wallet, I put up an order. It wasn't filled, the market moved on. Now I cannot cancel this order because it doesn't show up in the overview, it's been 12 hours or so.

I cannot write a 2nd support ticket either (1st one being about the deposit, was never answered) because it gives me a 404 error.

Lesson learned, stay with exchanges you trust.

No idea if this is a scam or not, maybe they just aren't good at running an exchange/coding. I simply hope I get my $200 back.

EDIT: After countless hours, the order eventually showed up so I could cancel it and put up a new one. So, all in all, everything on this site is slow and laggy, but right now can't see a scam.
