I'm having trouble receiving notifications. They stopped working when I imported a private key for an address. I've checked and uncheck the box, but I dont get emails, HTML 5, SMS, or even google talk notifications.

I've even changed my email address with the notification box checked and unchecked, but in the "verify your address" email, it says notifications are disabled. That doesn't change no matter what box I check.

Anybody else having this issue?
5  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGWatcher 1.3.5, the GUI/monitor for CGMiner and BFGMiner to prevent downtime on: February 18, 2014, 07:04:55 AM
CGRemote currently will only run one instance per computer. This is by design, because it would require less resources to have one instance with all of the miners rather than two instances - each with half the miners. If you prefer to use two instances anyway I'll remove the limit in the next update. Similar to running multiple instances of CGWatcher, each CGRemote instance will need its own folder.

That would be fantastic.

I'm interested in using it to manage somebody's else farm. Its really nice to see the individual "farms" hashrate.

Thanks.

I'm wanting to run multiple instances of CG remote (2 to be exact, to keep farm hashrate split in two). The CG watcher info for how to run multiple instances doesn't seem to work with CG remote.

Any help?
7  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain.info not sending confirmation emails on: February 10, 2014, 03:21:09 AM
Same here. It worked until I imported a private key, and now I dont get email notifications for any BTC received under the new address.

Anybody else have similar problems?

2 cards were running at 37-38GH. I sold a card (for more than i paid, but perhaps less than i couldve mined -_-) and have the remaining card stable at 40GH

Have more recently added a second (identical) fan at the other end, and put 25mm risers on the m-board to lift it slightly

What cards are those?

I've made my posts what more do you want?! Smiley

But seriously, I'd like to get access to the hardware and group buy forums.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think Litecoin will see the same growth as Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2013, 08:26:58 AM
I don't personally believe that Litecoin will grow to as big as Bitcoin, but it's way too early to speculate on this in my opinion. Bitcoin was first introduced in 2009, that's 4 years ago. Litecoin came out in 2011, two years later.

I don't believe it will either. But it brings up an interesting point. With all of the other ALT currencies and LTC being called the Mastercard, what is Feathercoin? Novacoin? I believe that at some point there will be an established 2 or 3 coins. Bitcoin is the #1, will LTC be next? It will be very interesting to see where we are at this time next year. By they we should have a good idea of market cap, public usage/awareness and acceptability.

17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt Coin with fastest cpu mining? (not in it to make money) on: November 16, 2013, 07:58:51 AM
If you plan on mining Bitcoins in the future please take a look at this web site before investing any money into an expensive rig:

http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/

It takes into consideration ever-increasing difficulty in mining along with delivery time of your rig. Many deliveries are taking 2 months or more from the time of purchase so please put in a date some time in the future.

Of course, the difficulty will be skyrocketing by then but that's factored in. Even if you have a 2 terrahash/second rig the difficulty may make it impractical to mine sometime in the near future.

+1

Thats a lot of money to have tied up for 2+ months waiting for a rig. If you not in it to make money, maybe wait a bit...
