1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Commercium | Master Node | Equihash | Commerce Made Modern on: May 30, 2018, 01:19:47 AM
Mining it for long time. Never had problem with the wallet like other coins. Truly believe in this project. Any plans to switch algo from equihash and does it make sense?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: May 07, 2018, 02:09:12 PM
It is OK.
Just look at your core clock. It is 1500Mh/s. You need 2000 to get normal speed.
You cant get 190 watts with such clocks. Only if you rise to 1,5v core voltage. But I dont think you need it.

smos sets its own powerlimit of 140w instead of 190. cards are hashing 45mh instead of 65. whith such wrong low powerlimit rigs crash also

simplemining does not apply powerlimit! please help  Cry
it shows OC and 190 powerlimit at each gpu on startup but real powerlimit is all over the place.
12 gpu 1080ti rig

ccminer alexis lyra2v2. i itried other ccminers too.

powerlimit set 190w and i get 143W or 160w only

i had same issue with older dtsm equihash but new dtsm works perfect.

powerlimit 190,190,190,190,190,190,190,190,190,190,190,190 does not work
--plimit=190w,190w,190w,190w,190w,190w,190w,190w,190w,190w,190w, does not work also

I'm a bit confused. Why create a project that is similar to mine except that my blockchain started from scratch with a new genesis block? Where is the source code? I'm really curious to take a look at it, hoping that the only thing in common is the idea of the type of currency and not the source code.

thats erc20 token?  doubt it has same code as ltz

What is the projects stance on the 100% ASIC resistant now? Are we going to see some changes?

yesterday's twitt of their PR Manager:
"There is absolutley ZERO verifiable proof that the ethash ASICs are even real. The Pirl Team doesn't make it policy to comment on wild speculation and therefore we have nothing to say about an algo change AT THIS TIME"
he didn't refer to bitmain announcement of E3 ASIC...
https://twitter.com/Socal_crypto/status/981071333969842176

few days ago on pirl's blog we could read:
"In conclusion, we welcome the addition of these new machines as we do not believe they will harm the current miners for the reasons outlined above. We believe that the introduction of these machines will allow miners to increase their hashing power, it will add new miners, and will relieve some of the GPU inventory difficulties - which are all beneficial to the PIRL mining community."
https://pirl.io/blog/thoughts-news-ethereum-asic-miners/

suming up: they welcome new ASICs in their 100%resistant blockchain but becouse of no proof of this ASICs existence they have nothing to say...  Shocked Huh Shocked

...100% resistant just means it is resistant and not asic-proof....

I'm not fluent in english maybe that's why i don't cacht you...
I know the difference between words "resistant" and "proof" but when someone claim "100% resistance" for me it means exactyly the same as "proof"
in other way what the hell this 100% mean???

is there a bounty date?
what bounty?Huh

Why didnt you do max supply 84,000,000,000 to match 1000 ratio like bitcoinz?

UPDATE v1147:
- added miner dstm-v0.6.0
- added miner bminer-v5.4.0

THANKS! POWERLIMIT now applies correctly on my 12gpu rig and i get 400sol xtra compared to ewbf!!!!! I guess it was dtsm problem  Wink

hello i set powerlimit in dtsm 190w but BUT gpus get only 130W

rig 12x1080ti 250mobb 4ram SMOS
with other miners oc settings applied correct.
other 7 and 10 gpu rigs are fine with any miner including dtsm

this is what i get
Applying PowerLimit: 190 watt for GPU 0
Applying CoreOffset: 50 MemoryOffset: 950 for GPU 1 with GPU Type: 3
Applying PowerLimit: 190 watt for GPU 1
Applying Core..............

BUT i get only ~130W on all gpus 517sol/3.78=130w

GPU11 60C Sol/s: 517.8 Sol/W: 3.78 Avg: 534.4 I/s: 279.1 Sh: 1.15 1.00

ANY ideas?

1060 1080 1080ti with dtsm are much faster than ewbf but i have to use ewbf on my 12x01080ti rig(

SPMOD for lux possible with SMOS???
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / target temp on: January 11, 2018, 06:16:43 PM
how does power limit work? it adjusts load on the card limiting performance or adjusts GPU voltage?

i like smos.
