Is there a chance to get banned on reddit because of upvotes?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is product important for a project? on: August 12, 2018, 04:04:23 PM
I think so. Most of the investors look if the project has a product that could easily be sold, and most successful projects have ready to deploy or in beta stage before going into ICO. Right now the ICO iI'm following called menlo.one have a ready and easy to sell product/concept which I think would give them success.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How the best ICO is choosen on: August 12, 2018, 03:36:28 PM
Good ICOs are harder to find as the day pass. The word "GEM" is a niche in describing these ICOs. We can't trust almost every ICO rating websites these days because more often than not they advertise ICOs that are not sorted well or studied enough to be called GEM. Sometimes an individual study or research about the project often leads to a red flag than the ICO rating sites saw themselves.

Yeah Agree. Finding projects is easy but knowing if the project is legit or not is hard, if we only rely on those review sites we all just end as a broke. Right now, I consider menlo.one as a gem which I currently have an investment.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICOs are great on: June 19, 2018, 11:44:13 AM
It always comes down to money. Raising money for a start up is extremely hard. You need to pitch your product to people that never heard of the things you try to solve and on top of that, you want them to give you money. With ICOs you are targeting people around the world, that may (or may not) be technically well versed and hence are much easier to convince to invest in your product.

This is correct. But aside from money it always comes up to the concept of the project, the idea and its use-case. I support ICO's that could bring change or to improve what we already have, an ICO ( menlo.one )i'm following right now is about to create a scam-free ICO marketplace where everyone can participate with less worries about getting scammed.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: One of the best upcoming ICO on: June 19, 2018, 11:32:23 AM
I've seen a few posts about this project and how game changing people claimed it will be. I've done some research and it does seem promising especially since it's platform is decentralized which means no manipulation. I just hope that the white paper does what it says and not disappoint investors once it's got the funding it needs.

Well lucky for you, keep onboard buddy were on the same team here. I also invested a small amount into menlo.one, I hope they'll keep their vision and concept on point and on target.

I agree with you, maybe he does not understand what we are going through.

Although the charts are due to lazy, every day I  post  and answer dozens of comments, you see I still jr.member

I do sympathize you on your OP about what is happening right now, more factual thingy without real interactions. It feels like your talking with an encyclopedian robot or AI whatever you call it, and that's the case right now on some boards. But lets just forget about ranking up and attaining a higher level status.

My point is this "does newbies or any low ranked member have a voice on this forum?" I don't want to make a scene here its just I'm curious.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another dagger for bitcoin? on: April 10, 2018, 01:54:52 PM
Well i think everyone of us in crypto should take the time to provide information to other people. It's easy to bait people who don't know bitcoin because it can really be a source of easy money though not all the time. These scammers show them proof that they can earn so they fall for whatever scams they do. The more information about btc and crypto shared, the less these scammers will have easy victims

Yeah, your correct. When there's news about scams who is more likely to blame? I think its the investors, every scams can be avoided if people are thoroughly investigating before investing. They have failed to know more where their money would go, believes on high ROI in a short period of time without proof of anything, and the eagerness to be rich as quickly as possible. That's were the problem is.
8  Other / Meta / Re: ****** Post limit for each member in the forum ********** on: April 10, 2018, 01:36:23 PM
I highly doubt it. Instead of this, you should start reporting those (useless posts).

Just wanted to know, does "report to moderator" button really work? I mean, if I report someone, will there be an actions taken coming from the Mods or do I need a certain level of membership inorder to do so (Sr. member-Legendary Members)?

Can a low-level member have its weight in terms of reporting scams, spams, et. al?
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money on: April 05, 2018, 06:34:43 AM
Perhaps the exchangers will become the place to do the money laundering? I mean still depends on the what kind of regulation they will impose on the exchangers. If it just tracks the transactions happening at the exchanger then it wont be much useful as our addresses still remain the anonymous. There are services like bitcoin mixers where we can get the anonymous characters unfolded and no will know we were the one who did that transaction. Correct me if I a wrong with this ? There Will always be different ways of making the whole transaction anonymous and thus keep it untraceable. This is as long as we do not transact in the bank accounts. However the later is still the same case as if today.

Yeah your correct, but the thing is most of the cryptocurrency holders still relies bank transactions to convert their fiat to crypto and vice versa. So still, transactions can be traceable, I agree with others, regulations are still needed but not to the extent of removing the anonymity of cryptocurrency.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Paybear Token plans for an ICO on: March 08, 2018, 11:52:51 AM
Has anyone looked into Paybear? They have a fully functioning service (provide a payment gateway) for ecommerces and are on the verge of launching their token, so basically all the current webshop owners who are already accepting the big cryptos with their API will automatically be able to accept the token as a payment method, does this sound big?

Never heard of them. But if they can offer what they have promised then probably they can be successful on their ICO. Do you have a link to this paybear token? I suggest, It'll be good if you'll give your readers more details about this project so they can react.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: It is not yet over as bitcoin heading toward $4,500! on: February 10, 2018, 10:19:42 AM
It wont go below 5000. This is just the holidays especially the chinese new year when people sell their coins so they have enough money for the holidays coupled with new investors who panicked during the fall and some negative news about bitcoin that are surely works of the whales who want to manipulate the price. It aint gonna be down for long. It will zoom back to 19k and maybe reach 20k this year.

Can you tell me facts of what's the relation between chinese new year and cryptocurrency?
The price had gone down because some of the investor's don't have balls to hold their investment and they are easily swayed with the current FUD's right now.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best way handle an airdrop? on: February 09, 2018, 10:36:12 AM
Sending 0ETH can reduce your workload.
It's my point,it  can make a smart contract automatically refunded token.

I see. I want to store the airdrop in the blockchain. So when you sign up, you are actually stored in the blockchain and a function call will run the airdrop, so everybody will get the same amount. I won't do this manually.

I wonder when your project will start, also you need to have a compelling product to make your project successful. Good Luck.   Smiley
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does certain people called Bitcoin as bubble investment? on: February 08, 2018, 10:20:58 AM
Most of the people who have called the Bitcoin as Bubble are Bankers and CEO who depends on FIAT, so this news are just to destabilize the current TRUST investors has on BTC. BTW, Bubbles means a fortunate situation that's unlikely to last. (from Google) - meaning there's no assurance with your investment.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fighting the Laziness problem in the central banks worldwide on: January 28, 2018, 04:09:59 AM
there is a global crisis regarding work moral we have too many lazy banksters billionaires politicians, islamists, suicide bombers etc. that still refuse to work for cryptos

what can we do to fight and defeat finally lazyness and joblessness so people finally can start earning their cryptos?

developing our communities, is important but the we cant do anything with all those lazy leeching bankers billionaires etc.

this world is broken

  Wink
The lazy, the banks, the organizations do not choose the crypto as a solution because it has a choose reason. You can not go out of business when the value changes constantly, it negatively affects their money. Crypto is not like a blessing that can reduce the rate of unemployment or poverty because it is always risky.

I agree with you. You cannot force anyone to your own liking. They have reason not to use crypto and still believe on fiat. As others have said Bitcoin's instability and scalability is whats hindering them to use it.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin investment on: January 27, 2018, 02:57:27 AM
As others have said. The sooner the better. This downfall you have been talking about is very common and normal to Bitcoin. If your faint hearted then I suppose bitcoin is not for you.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If everyone starts using electronic money on: January 22, 2018, 05:16:57 AM
If everyone starts using electronic money, infrastructure will also need to be developed proportionately. It will not take too much time for paper money to disappear from the market. At the present time, it is not yet clear whether financial institutions can adapt to that change in a timely manner.

Actually its not easy to do that. As we can see, there are con's in using digital currency or electronic money. Paper money on the other hand, is the most practical way to deal in the market. It would be hard to people to accept this kind of change.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: how can the beggars access Bitcoin? on: January 21, 2018, 01:02:08 AM
they can get bitcoin in paper form like what you get when using Bitcoin ATM.

pieces of paper with public and private address after that they can import the private key to any wallet "just show the private key to any scanner" and get the money.

Important point

you must have some knowledge and internet access to use bitcoin.
Considering they will have enough knowledge and resources to use Bitcoin, they can but lets be honest here, we know that it would be hard for them to use it becuase they lack the essentials to fully use cryptocurrencies.
Another thing is that, if they will exchange their fiat money for bitcoin, it would be possible that they can much less that the actual amount of their money.

Lets make this thread more conversational. What if these beggars gets a considerable amount of BTC or Crypto's, would they exchange it for Fiat or just hold and let it grow for a while. Assuming they have a knowledge of how crypto's work. LOL
18  Economy / Economics / Re: how can the beggars access Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2018, 10:10:30 AM
The beggar? You means that someone who stolen access to login our wallet? I think many people in the world i.e good and bad people. Sometimes, the bad people work hardly to stolen our wallet access. So, always take care guys Smiley

When he says beggar he is particularly talking to the needy and the poor in the streets. Anyway, they need to have atleast a smartphone to access bitcoin.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was bitcoin created by artificial intelligence? on: January 17, 2018, 01:05:38 PM
Please stop making and spreading fake news and conspiracy theories against bitcoin for some cheap youtube views and gaining fake fame.

Correct this is just another conspiracy theory that have no clear evidence to suggest just some speculation and their own analysis. This kind of FUD's is what drives the new investors crazy.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin on: January 16, 2018, 09:31:56 AM
The simple answer is hold Bitcoin or Ethereum for a long-term purpose and you can sleep safe and sound. Don't disclose yourself somehow to take advantage to invest or get free coins from new ICOs or buy Altcoins ( Other Cryptos) as it still give you profit. But you must be watchful for this time as most altcoins really fail to fulfill its goal for longevity.

Yeah correct, that is the most challenging part if we are going to swap for bitcoin we must find a good altcoin that will definitely make it through the market for a long time.
