I came along after WW3 rose from the ashes of WW2, and @waya got me going with information on how to run the new wallet, and I've been running it 24/7 ever since without issues. Staking brings in a handful of coins almost every day.
The community on Discord is open and transparent on what is happening. Every now and then there's a competition, or other type of event where you can earn a few WW as a reward.
All in all, everything you would expect is working as intended.

They are currently being DDOSd hard, so they have bigger problems than you. Disabling SLI solves the issue, but keeps my frigging SLI disabled.
Contacted NH on Facebook and they don't seem to be responsive or attentive at all.

Can you provide us with a valid download link for the miner? I'd like to see if this is better than DSTM (faster or cheaper or both) The download links have not worked in a long time.
Download links work perfectly. I just grabbed all three current versions. |

Hey!
Did anyone experience any issues with nanopool this weekend?
I just came back from being away two days, and I see in the pool log that they haven't received any Sols from me since Sunday!
Checking the log in DSTM I see nothing wrong. No connection issues, nothing.
It's been merrily mining away this whole time.
Ususally I get a notification from nanopool if the miner loses connection with the pool, and I have been getting such notification from another miner, also DSTM also nanopool.
Maybe it's just a bug in their current reporting. I sent them an email. Don't want to touch anything till I know what's up.

Yup, must've been a bug or cache issue in my browser.
All looks fine now.

I'd like to see those stats for excavator, keep up the good work. Its well built, im pretty sure reporting is accurate and overall speeds should be pretty good. ... Just started up Bminer 5.4.0 allowing devfee, so lets see what a week can do there. :-) Sheet updated a week later, once again. But, I could use some help interpreting some of the numbers. As you can clearly see on the Shares sheet, Nanopool reports quite a few more shares from Bminer than the others I've tested. Now, maybe someone can explain to me why payments are being stretched out into more time? Is the difficulty increasing? If so, why wouldn't I be sending fewer shares? Also, what shares is Bminer reporting in its log? I grabbed a couple of lines as far back as my cmd session would allow, and then some of the latest lines. It seems Bminer is nice and stable and keeps counting Accepted shares with a fairly low number of Rejected shares. But, this number of accepted shares is nowhere near the number of shares reported by Nanopool. Please, can someone explain the difference in numbers to me. I've been running two tests for a week each, on nanopool. First with Bminer and then with DSTM, and a few hours ago I switched to excavator 1.4.4a, and I'll run that till next Sunday to compare. I completely ignored miner/pool stats for Sols, and instead focused on Shares and Payments as reported by nanopool. Since they are paying me for my shares, I have to accept that their numbers are what matters. Now, I only have a single Asus 1070, not OC'd nor undervolted or any of that fancy stuff, and it's in a regular gaming rig. Now, I didn't (rarely do) play any games during this period, and my box is on and mines 24/7, no matter what I do. It's an i7-6700K, 32 GB RAM, with SSDs. Now, I said no gaming, but I use it every day for a couple of hours, surfing and what-not, including watching movies with Kodi, streaming 720p/1080p content from NAS over local Gbit network. My external network is 1000/100 Mbit and rock solid. Neither of the miners have caused any troubles for my machine, and I've only noticed that DSTM needed to restart itself a bunch of times during the week. If I remember correctly, Bminer ran without any problems. I rarely restart my computer, but it happens. Same with the miners. If they were ever closed, it was only for a few minutes during the entire week. My conclusion? Well, darn near identical results, with a slight edge for DSTM. Initially, I ran Bminer with devfee and the later days with the -nofee option. I never noticed any difference in Sols, and don't know if it ever affected shares/payments.

Thank you for explaining this. However, I tried it and although it works, it doesen't seem to yield a higher hash in total. Each worker push about half the hash, but when added together, the total hash is noticably lower than when running a single worker. I'm just mining Zcash (since NH was hacked) for fun, using a single Nvidia 1070 GPU, and i7 CPU. |
