1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann] Safecoin maidsafecoin on: April 25, 2014, 08:27:47 AM
I received mine now. They show up on Masterchest.info if you enter in your BTC address you sent from.

Ah that makes sense, thanks for clarifying. So yeah Electrum should work with Safecoin.

So me sending from my Electrum wallet means I've lost my coins?  Huh Cry

Wait what? Isn't Electrum a wallet where you have access to your private keys? Why can't you use Electrum?

That's what I thought too. You can import your Keys from the server with Electrum but then that defeats the Seed recovery thing that appeals to most people.

For BTC backers:
We're feeding this into a Google Drive spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1r4fv57JDNkW55P5dnwPmHF3rOhdt1Jn5I2DZFuZfmfU/edit?usp=sharing

I sent them 1BTC on Tuesday and have not received any coins, unless I'm being completely retarded and have missed them some how. How am I meant to view the coins? If I type the sending address or transaction ID into blockchain or masterchest no Safecoins show up. Can anyone help?

Thanks, so I see my transaction listed (248 on the spreadsheet), so where do I confirm receipt of the coins?

7  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Electrum - Lightweight Bitcoin Client on: April 22, 2014, 12:09:08 PM
I've left it for hours with no change, just says 'Not Connected'. I've used my Seed to restore the wallet on OS X now, I'll have to spend some time reinstalling it on Debian.

Can anyone help me out here... I have an Electrum wallet on Debian (1.7.3) and today it just refused to connect to any sever, is this version obsolete now or something?

Yep funds held for 10 weeks. I sent via SEPA at the end of October.

EDIT: And now I have a money hold for 661 hours, thought it was all too good to be true - fucking arseholes.

Holly shit, It's a miracle! Just logged onto BTC-e and I have the money sitting there, no explanation or even notification though.
13  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E.com exchange Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin <-> USD\BTC (fee 0.2%) on: January 14, 2014, 07:55:13 AM
Has anyone actually received a refund or had funds credited for a 'missing' bank wire? It's been nearly 3 months now and BTC-e have made no effort to put things right.
you contact you bank and then submit here a ticket they are taking some time but doing all ok

I've done all that, they simply do not respond past: "Hello! Please send full details of the transfer to check+ scan and screenshots.". Even if I submit a ticket with all the details they need and screen shots they don't respond. Clearly avoiding the issue.
14  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / BAMT Startup Error on: January 13, 2014, 09:00:08 PM
I've just set up BAMT on my 7 GPU rig and I get the following error as the OS is loading: "Failed to start the x server (your graphical interface). It is likely that it is not set up correctly. Would you like to view the X server output to diagnose the problem?"

Does anyone have any idea what this means? Could it be that I need to put dummy plugs in my GPUs?

System specs are as follows:

7 x Sapphire 7950 Dual-X
MSI Z77A-GD65 Mobo
2 x Corsair RM850 PSU
Intel Celeron G1610 CPU
8GB Corsair RAM
Powered Riser Cables

16  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: New Rig Build - No Input Signal to Monitor on: January 09, 2014, 10:50:34 AM
Thanks just needed to edit the BIOS to enable the integrated graphics adapter.
17  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / New Rig Build - No Input Signal to Monitor on: January 07, 2014, 08:11:44 PM
I'm new to the world of mining rig builds and as such have a retarded question to ask.

I've just built a a rig with 7 x Sapphire 7950 Dual-X GPUs, using a Z77A-GD65 motherboard. After connecting it all up correctly and plugging the monitor into the mobo via VGA it powers up fine but I get no signal to the monitor. If I use a newer monitor with HDMI and plug into one of the cards then I get the display expected.

So am I meant to plug into the mobo or one of the cards? If the mobo what could be the cause of no signal?

BTC-e, it's now been 2 months since I sent you GBP1500 via SEPA and surprise, surprise you still haven't credited it to my account or even responded to my support tickets.

After all this has come to light I don't know why people still vouch for BTC-e and continue to use them, surely we should all be boycotting them until they pay up? BTC-e is just a dirty stain on Bitcoin's name.

BTC-e why have you closed my ticket again with no response?! Please reopen the ticket below and respond immediately.
