Fresh blockchain + daily update torrents. Just unpack the contents from the first, bigger blockchain-directory to .bitcoin and then merge it with the updates from the second torrent.

I downloaded the BC from getbitcoin[Suspicious link removed] for my raspi node. First of all thank you so much for this.
The issue I had is that I had to reindex the whole stuff because the blockchain loading was not straightforward and the process is taking very long. Did I miss something or is this a mandatoryry step?

Ciao a tutti,

volevo finalmente portare i miei btc dai vari exchange ad un wallet privato.
A casa non ho un vero e proprio pc personale, ma ho tutti i miei dati su un NAS (Synology DS261j) a cui accedo con diversi dispositivi a seconda delle volte. Esiste secondo voi un modo furbo per sfruttare il NAS in modo da avere un wallet a cui posso accedere da vari dispositivi ma comunque "sicuro", oppure è meglio orientarsi su un wallet HW?
Ho visto che è possibile implementare un full node sul NAS, ma  cercavo una soluzione più leggera.
